Alright, so if anyone didn't get what values is, Values is the contrast between the light and dark shades on your piece. That part where she explained to use a color layer and set it to gray is to show the different darks and lights of your piece.
The reason we use value in art is so that you can show depth and shadows where the cloth is overlapping!
Hopefully that cleared some stuff up since she kinda struggled a little to explain it in the video! :D

A quick thing too, depending on what the clothes are made of how the folds are going to look.
Examples:
A tight shirt will have sort of a lot of folds, but they would be in parts of the shirt where the body moves a lot (shoulders, armpits, elbows and meaby the torso) although these folds would be small.
A way to knoe this things is by looking at real life clothes :^

The hardest part of this I believe would be knowing where to shade. I learned to know where to put folds by looking at a lot of art reference pictures (pinterest is a great place!)
