    You could have just rinsed the leather with water to remove the shaving cream. Alcohol tends to strip leather and dry it it. Nice job with the color choices!

    It might help if you put the alcohol into a spray bottle and then you can spray the cream off a bit easier. I’m no expert but I think that might help 💕Nice videos and best wishes

    I just did this on baseball caps. They turned out great except I can still small the shaving cream even after washing them twice in Dawn.

      Yes, it takes some time for the shaving cream odor to fully dissipate.

    can you use tap water to rinse the shaving cream off? I'm surprised that the alcohol rinse doesn't make the spirit dye run

      If the purse will accept alcohol dye, it should work.

    please don't use alcohol on leather. Especially, THAT much.

      Almost all leather dye is alcohol based. Using alcohol to routinely clean leather would damage the leather; however, using alcohol dye and alcohol to clean off residual dye is common practice. The leather is always treated with appropriate conditioning products after dying.
