Yeah, that was young Lil Wayne. They were a group called The Hot Boys at that time (late 1990's actually) and Juvenile was the man. BG was also hard and someone you should check out.
Absolute banger. And incredibly fun to insert your daily activities into it - “you brushing your teeth ha, you feeding your dog a treat ha, you going down to Walgreens ha” 😂
😂
Haha yesss
Dude its fucking hot in NOLA in the Summer. Humidity is a killa
It was baby oil for the look, clearly see no beads of sweat on him🤦🏾♂️
We were individuals back then! Everybody had their own swag. I miss those days.
400 degrees , Juvenile is fire. Check it out
The Hot Boys used to dress in the G Code. White tees rebook classics and Girbaud jeans
That song put Cash money on the map!!
That was Lil Wayne and Birdman. Check out Bling, Bling. The original Cash Money click. That song started a whole slang
Yes that was lil Wayne this is 1997-98 cash money was baby, mannie fresh, Wayne juvenile, bg and turk
Yes that is Lil’ Wayne. When Cash Money blew up, Juvenille was their star artist. B.G. as well. Lil Wayne wasn’t that dope. (Cash Money was comprised of two groups, The Hot Boys: BG, Juvenille, Young Turk and Lil’ Wayne. The other group was Big Tymerz: Birdman & Mannie Fresh). As he got older, Lil’ Wayne got better and better as an artist and became Cash Money’s top star.
Cap Wayne damn near the best one in the group and he was the youngest
@@Illmaticgraphics850 Wayne got better as the years went on. When Cash Money started he was NOT the best one. The best was Juvi. As the years went on, Wayne got better and better and eventually became the best rapper on Cash Money.
@@RAA10382that’s ur opinion not a fact. I was huge on Wayne even then. Juvie is q we s the most POPULAR.
Yes its Wayne. U younger generation missed out. Juve still my favorite RAPPER
He from New Orleans its 100 percent humidity they live outside the Louisiana swamps mosquitoes and everything the heat is oppressive
Around this time they were actually the richest rappers. They had just signed a 15 million dollar deal with Universal. This is after they were already selling crazy records independently. The point I'm trying to make is they had more bread than anyone and still wore t shirt and $50 Rebooks. They were rapping about F-150's and Camaro's. Driving Bentley's and Lambo's didn't even seem possible to the richest rappers at that time.
It was a 30 million dollar deal
Baby and Sugar slim signed that deal, not Juve and them
And they kept their masters
late 90s the Nolia and CP3 pjz had slammers coming out !!! This flick always stayed bumpin out my 15's
Juve was the coldest out of hot boys!
400 degrees is a 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 album. Get on it
It’s HOT af down here. From Texas to Florida, we stay sweating in the summer. Houston tx represent
Juvie was the first artist to blow up from cash money. Its Birdman label not Wayne
Thats Wayne bro 😂💯 youll catch up soon just keep reacting

This came out 25 years ago (1998).
This song came out the same year as those Jordan’s in the background 😂
If you ain't ever been south in the N.O. best believe the heat and humidity make ya sweat like a pig in a slaughter house 😅😅😅

Nola swampland it's hot 🔥. Take it from a floridian 😂
yeah that was lil wayne...Juvie was the 1st of the hot boys to blow, but unlike was the 1st group of cash money back in lile 1991...lil Wayne didn't become the dude at cash money until turk got locked up, and juvie and b.g. left
it is crazy you never heard of him...
Idk fila was kinda played out during this time. The Grant Hills were mid 90s. This was 98 99 time frame

That's Wayne. U didn't recognize Baby in there? Mannie Fresh in there too but I understand if u don't know who that is
Yeah I peeped em but I’m not familiar with Mannie fresh , might have to look into him !
@@VloneFrank yea he did the beats for Cash Money so everything was his work. Him and Baby started the duo Big Tymers they had hits like:
"Number 1 Stunna"
"Still Fly"
"Big Ballin"
"Get Your Roll On"
You should check them out. I wasn't a big Cash Money fan but I appreciated their work. I still have "Ha" & "Big Ballin" in my playlist.
@@VloneFrank Mannie Fresh was their only producer at that time. He made every Cash Money beat all the way up until Carter I or Carter II I'm pretty sure.
You don't know anything about New Orleans?=The Magnolia projects..Manny Fresh was a beast with them Cash Money beats,a legend in his own league...Cash Money and No Limits records took over at that time, both Louisiana based.
Ima suburban kid
By the way many people got killed during that era in New Orleans..4real.
That is lil Wayne
The whole 400 degrees album
When you say “I never heard no juvenile songs”…you lost me. You def heard “back that ass up”. This generation is weird lying for likes and subscribers.
Calling me a liar of your own assumption is actually the only weird thing going on my g. Till this day “Ha” still the only song I heard of Juvenile & I stay 100 with whatever I do likes and subs just a side affect. God bless you though brother !
I clicked on at 400 views 😂
Lil Wayne was about 16 then. He didn’t have a Cash Money label.
Have you reacted too Nas affirmative action and full circle?
No not yet but I’ll definitely check it out !
Hurricane Katrina ruined all 3 projects in N.O. yeah, shyt used to be raw.
That was Wayne in 98
