    Mannie Fresh laced this beat especially during the hook. Dude is legendary. Juvenile's voice, lyrics and flow just fit right in.

    This joint was written like an OG conversation. And “ha” is definitely a Louisiana thing. My cuz in Baton Rouge used to say “ha” after everything! And that was long before this came out. That’s why I dug the song so much, cause it reminded me of my cousin from Baton Rouge who used to talk like that.

    He talking to everyone really in New Orleans but sorta to the South as a whole because we was all on reeboks/tees&girbuads, and gold pull outs/permenants. Plus everything related to hood shit outside of clothing. But run that song back uncensored and you’ll catch a few more lines. Top 10 or at the least 20 album of all time. 400 Degreez was a lane switcher. This the album that put Cash Money on the map.

    I remember when this song came out. I always looked at it more like a poem than a song because he doesnt always rap this way. Also Juvenile was known to wear reeboks and is saying that because of his influence he got you switching from nike to reebok lol.

    When I entered middle school, Cash Money and the Hot Boys the shit. At 5:16, he's not talking shit about someone, getting a Benz on dubs (20s) was baller shit. Cars came with like 15 inch wheels stock at the time. You kids are cornball and don't see it yet
