I remember after years of my dad keep it together as a faithful husband, caring and providing for my mom until kidney failure and type one diabetes finally killed her watching him finally cry as they played her favorite song "it is well with my soul" at her funeral then several times after that. He is in every way the man i aspire to be in being faithful to his spouse, providing for a family and being strong but compassionate. Bro I searched up the same Reddit post and found like 5 comments saying that guys cried infront of their girl and nothing bad happened and like 2 comments (including the one hamza showed in the video) that said that something bad happened after that. So that just means it's not bad to cry infront of your woman (if you have a good reason and don't do it every other day of course), it's just that there are some women who won't accept a men crying. The only times when it's okay to cry is when you cry for a reason that would not make her feel bad for you. Like if you cry a little bit for someone else's pain, or cry tears of joy that's good, but as soon as she feels bad for you it's over.

Yea it depends on why you cry and how you cry. A small tearing up, tears of joy, a very short bout of crying for some empathetic reason or something is one thing, but YOU crying out of pain or sadness or fear or something, uncontrollably balling is unattractive.
Tear up when you're proud of your girl or daughter. Maybe slightly cry for someone else. But as soon as you cry for a reason that would make her feel bad for you, it's over.

Week 2 of dating a women and I told her I want kids (biological or adopted), I want to be the primary bread winner, I want to be this religion (Catholic), and If want you to be a partner making decisions like finances and stuff you need to learn banking, budgeting, household economics, Fico score etc (she didn’t know what that was before we met), I also had a farm and a garden and made sure she wouldn’t shy away from hard work. Put in the western us there’s no man or woman work we all work to keep the family alive if I get sick you better know how to tend the garden and hunt for game otherwise we all die.
