- 4K 60FPS: Caltrain Cab Ride on the Gallery Car from San Jose- Bayshore, CA
Caltrain only traveled between San Jose-Bayshore. There was no train service Between Bayshore and San Francisco Stations. Due to closure to complete the San Francisco Tunnel Work for the Caltrain Electrification Project.
That Nathan P2 sounds quite good from the cab.
Nice!!!
Thanks.
Hi! Nice video! :D Question... I'm recording my routes in The Netherlands as well. But my GoPro overheats very quickly in 4K 60fps. May I ask what camera you use? :) I really love the high frame rate.
the video 4K is excelent, the sound to.i have here 4K in the Netherlands.
Beautiful Video , question ; the line San Jose San Francisco completed elettricity ? thanks fro Siena Italy
Any real good hobby shops in SF that carries railroad related items? I’m visiting from NYC next week
very nice to see that old track with nails, old.no elecktik whire for the E.Loks? only diesels?
Caltrain has historically been diesel-electric only. But they are now working on an electric wire. The trains will be fully electric from San Francisco to San Jose, and then diesel-electric from San Jose to Gilroy (Union Pacific, a private company, owns the tracks from San Jose to Gilroy, and doesn't want their operations to be interrupted by the installation of an electric wire. that could change in the future though.)
This travel is from San José to bayshore ........this is the baby bullet line ???
1:58.08 looks like europe railroad
Do you know what year they will finish the electrification
the electric trains will supposedly go into service in 2022. but it's taking forever. should have been done 50 years ago. source: calmod.org/
They're only going to electrify it between San Jose and San Francisco. South of San Jose, they will still use diesel-electric. This is because Caltrain owns the tracks north of San Jose but Union Pacific owns them south of San Jose. (I grew up in silicon valley and still live here.)
The electric trains will begin service sometime in September of 2024 (next year), covering the portion from San Francisco to San Jose, which F40s will be retired and MP36PH engines will remain in service between San Jose and Gilroy
Oh my god I feel like I'm at work. Lol
Hopefully Dumbarton Rail Project electrifies the rails.
What’s wrong with that bell?
Wingnutcaseman it’s the way the airline is sounding when the bell before it hits the clapper
WHat is that horrible hammering sound along with the bell...?
This is definitely NOT 60 fps.
says 4k but not
Nice video, but the banging sound is so annoying
