Finally someone who understands Brother Mouzone. I used to get irritated by people who call themselves professionals and experts saying he was a cartoonish and unrealistic character. Obviously they don't come from places where Brother Mouzones live like us so they don't understand. Another home run sheikh. ✊🏾
Philadelphia was a hotbed for Nation of Islam in the 90s. During that time I ran into a lot of brothers that were Vietnam War vets that found Islam after coming home. You could tell these brothers were not to be messed with.
"That niqqa got more bodies on him than a Chinese cemetery" That is one of the most gangsta descriptions you could get of a character to let you know what time it is. And that was coming from a veteran in the game who seen all types of killers come and go.
I wonder how many people noticed that cheese kind of snitched on stringer when he said I got permission or we got permission only one person could have given him permission to grind in those towers which is why when stringer Bell visit him in the hospital brother already knew that he did it.
I never thought of that phrase and never paid any attention to it. But now It's so obvious! Who else can give such permission? 😂. the wire is too complex. You got permission to sell drugs in Barksdale territory but he sent me here to stop the same .then string comes to the hospital immediately after I am shot. No wonder mouzone peeps immediately.who gave permission to rival gangs?😮. Yeah, string was dead, he just didn't know it. When ever I watch the wire I see New things.

I’m from Philadelphia and I’m telling you from experience these brothers exist and they’re well educated, polite and most importantly they’re not to be fucked with
I live in Philadelphia, but I'm from NYC. When I read the book, "Brothers Inc", I realized that the CIA and the Bush family infiltrated the Philadelphia Mosque and turned Philly to "Sunni" Muslims. I also realized that the Goverment ran CIA operations in Black Phialdelphia twice! And just like Tulsa, OK. the government dropped a bomb on Black Americans. That should tell you how focused they have been to keep the "Philadelphia Negore" down, then and now! WHY is the qusetion that Philadelphia, leaders should ponder!
I love how you touched on the Elija Muhammad and the military inforcment wing of the nation. A bow tie wearing dude was also thought to have killed Tupac and biggie. The sketch reminded me of Mazone. But I always related brother to Forrest Whittaker’s character Ghost Dog. A hit man for hire with a strong code of honor
The "That's a change for you" line always cracks me up. A usually dead serious man taking a moment in a serious situation to crack a joke like that. Simple but brilliant. But on the real your content is definitely good for making people think. I consider myself to have a keen eye for detail but there's things in this series I never actually thought about that I've noticed watching your content. Keep up the good work.
It wasn't so much the crack alone that made Bro. Mouzone's point as his sardonic, deadpan delivery of a joke whose only audience couldn't laugh -- a masterpiece of irony. Loved it.
"Going in through the front" Being a change for Omar could also be seen as a joke to both his methods as well as his sexuality, since he usually "goes through the back" in both instances!
Brother Mouzone is probably the most interesting, mysterious and intelligent character on the wire. He's always has a book or magazine in his hands. He's also has a since of humor as well.
Brother Mouzone's choice in weaponry is also telling: as he says to Omar, he carries a Walther PPK chambered in .380 ACP. The Walther is an older weapon now, developed in the 1930s, but in its time it was popular for its concealability, reliability and stopping power. It was favored by assassins, undercover police and intelligence operatives. Therefore its a weapon for those who respect the past, who operate behind the scenes, and who use their mind to deal with problems, but who are also undoubtedly dangerous. Sounds like Mouzone. It's also the signature weapon of James Bond, another dangerous man in a sharp suit, which feels somewhat appropriate.
As a bit of a gun nerd, I like examining firearms in fiction and what they say about their users (Omar favors a shotgun and large caliber handguns and revolvers, further giving him a classic "desperado" feel to hit character; Cutty notes that he prefers revolvers for their reliability, reflecting on his own honorable nature, but also showing him to be something of a man-out-of-time after he gets out of prison).
One thing I've noticed about Brother Mouzone is that he speaks with so much clarity and eloquence. He's also very direct. Here's the thing though, while speaking to you directly he also holds firm eye contact, carefully studying your implicit reactions to what he's saying. Great content Sir. Appreciate you putting out the videos more rapidly.
Yo as a fan of The Wire, I always find your observations and analysis of the show's themes, characters and plots to be very astute. I also appreciate how you're able to translate matters of the street into a context that can apply in a normal, square, every day situations. Bravo sir! Keep up the great work. #Salute

You’ve done a great job in breaking it down and have even highlighted things. I didn’t pick up on at times. Great job and much love!

Brother was that dude! Never heard 1 person that watched the show not respect that dudes character! That man stood on his!
South Philly here. I grew up at 21st and Pierce, just on the opposite side of the tracks. I’m familiar with the 1970’s Philly Black Mafia, Carpenter Street, Minister Jeremiah Shabazz and The Temple in North Philly. Bro, you nailed it again. Brother Mouzone was a throwback to those days. Keep up the great work.
Mannn you been grinding with these uploads. I know it takes a while to edit so I really appreciate your consistency. Keep up the great work ❤ love your channel. You should do snowfall breakdowns too
I be wanting your analysis to be longer but from a strategic standpoint I totally understand why. Keep killing with the great content Fam 🙏🏾 👏🏿 🙌🏿
Great vid HOMIE....soon as u drop I be ready!!!!
When Avon sent Brother Mouzone in it was a reminder that Stringer is not the Kingpin that he was masquerading to be when Avon was locked up.
This is my favorite video you’ve made yet brother. Keep doing your thing man. You’ve single handedly help me look at life as a growing young black man differently. From my vocabulary to my emotions. Thank you and please keep making these videos.
The demon in a suit😳
When I was young, I didnt know how to pronounce his name... we called him "Brother Move on" 😆😅🤣😂
✊🏽 This analyst was in depth and on point! 🤲🏽
Appreciated 👏🏽
Thanks bro💯💯
Telling you bro, I loved the show, but the way you dig down on the plots and meanings of situations in the show and the reasons why the characters do and say what they portray.. is so G..love it .🔥💯👈

And the legend has once again return.🔥🔥🔥☝️☝️☝️
Interesting, I know very little, if anything on what things like 'the Nation of Islam' is so this was very interesting to watch. It also gives me a completely different view point of what Brother Mouzone represents, why he's so feared and his general demeanor.
Nice vid as always mate.
