How to cut small text and tiny fonts on Cricut | Free Tip Friday

- Have you ever cut smaller text on your Cricut machine and had the little letters pop off the vinyl and get all messed up? Cutting small thin fonts can be a challenge.
But I have a couple of tips for you that will save your project and cut the tiny text flawlessly.

Thank you for posting this video, and I’m glad to see that this is working for so many people! However, I would just like to share my personal experience. I followed all the steps mentioned in this video, but unfortunately with the washi sheet setting it was almost impossible for me to weed the vinyl. It actually was even more difficult to weed than on the original vinyl setting for cricut. Perhaps I need to adjust the settings for the washi sheet cut pressure on my machine.
(Here’s a little update: I messed around with the washi sheet cut pressure and increased it dramatically, and I also had the cricut go over my cut lines 2x, it actually helped a lot, and my vinyl is weeding a lot better now!)
I had the same issue... i may try passing it thru a few times to see it helps to cut thru.. mine didnt seem to cut thru properly and i could not weed it.
did it work doing it a few times? same here, the washi setting made mine impossible to weed

I just got my Cricut Maker 3 and haven't a clue how to use it yet. BUT, I was going to do a small font on vinyl for a dog tag. I tried it multiple ways and it just made a mess. I can't wait to try this! Thank you so much!!!

Thank you for this video. I did try this & it worked better but I still had a few letters that still didn't cut all the way through or that popped out & I had to reposition. I had even put in a new blade. But it still was much better than it was before trying this setting.
