Worked under a DSP for 2 months and will never do it again. This job is largely overkill and even more so at Christmas. The money may look good, but for the amount you deliver/could deliver and after tax, it's a joke. Physically demanding both in and out of the van, long hours, inconsiderate public and their dogs, managers wanting you to rescue slower teammates all the time. If it's a smooth day, you'll finish early, but if it isn't which is most of the time, be prepared to give up whatever you have planned for after work.
Hi mate love your content, how can you apply to be an amazon driver? Seems there's only flex work, can't seem to find where to apply directly, appreciate some advice if possible please 😊 thankyou 👍
Good video 😢....mate my Amazon man keeps leaving everyone's parcels at the public entrance of our 4 floor apartment block..I caught him and asked him why! and he said your bosses at AMAZON have told them to save time and not deliver to the customers flat..I called him a liar..is he telling the truth??
@darrennorgrove8734 yeah I've ask the Evri guy who delivers here too anx he said the Amazon lad is just a lazy liar..I know the job is strenuous but no one is forcing him to work as a delivery man ffs
i hate that van when i'm delivering parcels. you have no way to lower the seat, gear stick gets stuck sometimes and the engine is so loud when the ac is on XD. Amazon fords so much better to drive.
Paid by the day not the hour, meaning you could have a bad route, get back at 9pm and get paid the same as someone who has a good route and got back at 5pm, stupid amount of stops, if you take a break you wont be home for dinner, self employment... has its pros and cons. I could go on and on however, it is good money and got my driving skills up very fast. I would NOT recommend this job to anyone, work for a supermarket like Tesco or even Ocado, or just do royal mail. Forgot to mention the main plus of this job though, is that it is super flexible. With my Agency each week you could decide what days you wanted to work, be it 1 or 6, as long as you did one weekend day. There is not another job I can think of with this level of flexibility, but I still would never recommend it.
worst job! Physically kills you! For less pay and you wont be guranteed a shift the week after if your 'score' is low the previous week! This is an only 'part time' good job if you ask me!
The job isn't for everyone I've been doing it nearly 7 years now and my dsp uk express are pretty good I'm on £160 a day plus fuel and they pay daily and I work 5 or 6 days a week and my score isn't the best I get quite a few concessions I've had complaints made against me by customers as well lol
@@darrennorgrove8734I guess its the depo then. The depo i used to be at will check your score every week wnd then determine if you get work, physically though not worth it. Self employed anyways, ive gone back to bus driving lol💷💷💷
A worthwhile job. Transport is the 'life blood' of commerce. Keep up the good work :-)

Serious question if you start at half 12 with 180 stops how late do you finish? Love the vids
Loving the amazon content bro would be nice to give us longer videos though!
Do you do the same route all the time or does it differ or can you choose, business needs?
Wait were there ford transits in 2018
Where was your route ?, what area is it ?

If there's a concierge or parcel room we can leave there but if not we supposed to take the parcels to the door
