I added a ready lift 1.5 sst lift. It made it comparable to the tacoma through wash outs stock tacoma would drag the hitch the mavric would make it through with the lift and not touch. The tacoma with a lift is way better though

Best thing about this video is this is exactly how I would end up, stuck, I just tell folks my F150 could probably do better with someone else driving! Plus truck starts to slide I go into panic lock up mode! The Maverick really don’t have a real 4WD system like the Tacoma.
Ya doesn’t take much to get high centered on wet snow. Dry snow can usually plow through. People with Tacoma’s don’t utilize its capabilities 99% of the time.
Nope wrong, people with Tacomas or midsize trucks utilize their capabilities 80% of the time. Don’t be those people that falsely generalize a vehicle bigger than what you prefer. Because even Maverick owners aren’t utilizing their trucks daily for what it was made for.
@@MrMikeDao I have a bigger truck than a Tacoma. Most people where I live have full size trucks (including myself). And the vast majority of the time they are just used for commuting. People may tow with them on occasion but no one is taking them off-roading.
Good comparison, however they're not apples-to-apples being this is their smallest truck. Toyota supposedly coming out with one to compete, and I'm sure it will have lower ground clearance as well as the Tacoma can't get anywhere near as good MPG. Most of the time off roading comes down to ground clearance, I've seen Raptors being stuck in snow, as long as your differential is bogged down your bogged down

Live up here in Snow country I know a guy that bought the body could get by with two wheel drive with an aggressive tire we get a lot of snow up he was she had bought the the all-wheel drive does not do well in snow and it snows a lot here
@@danieldeliverz3642 Mine is starting to get hard to pull the screws and put them on. I always have to use an impact gun to put them back because they are too hard.
That was just sad to watch. A maveric has a lower ground clearance than a stock tacoma. It is not even a good comparison. Can't wait for toyota to come out with their toyota stout. I like the idea of the maveric since I have an old nissan hardbody small truck but don't like the low reliability of the ford brand.

Cause some of the GM parts are coming from Ford warehouses. Dodge just looks like someone took an air hose to a Ranger and blew it up. 🤣🤣
Wait this is not a fair comparison cause the Toyota is in with the Rangers league. Maverick is in a league with the Hyundai Santa Fe small truck. Oh and car tires on a truck just doesn't make sense. Should of put truck tires on it.

I was gonna go get new bolts for it because it was shaking and the old lil screws were jacked and Just didn’t do it haha

@@davidalexispr the main skid plate bolts are still good but the smaller front skid plate little screws SUCK they don’t work good at all
He needs to turn on mts on for the front wheels to lock up and send power to the other. Otherwise it's just open diffs
You should still be giving it power while getting pulled out. Takes some of the load off your recovery vehicle
