Out standing on the wild side lesson. Could not ask for a better video on how to play. Breaking it down step by step like learning how pronounce a word works perfect for learning
Thank you bro for the video. Its the love of music and love for one another that you reach out to like minded people. Overlook all the negative crap people say in your love of music and people. Not worth worrying about. Rock on bro and thanks for the help.
Mötley Crüe Tribute Band? Nice! I recently shared the stage with a Band whose boys dedicaded themselves to the 80s AND Wild Side was in their Repertoire, along with stuff from Tykettos, Pretty Maids, Autograph, Whitesnake, Van Halen, XYZ, Gotthard etc. You should check them out on Facebook, because, like you, they love the stuff from the 80s. They call themselves "On the Roxx - finest hard rock covers". Good playing, and greetings from a fellow guitarrist from Germany.
hey, great lesson. VERY easy to understand for anyone who's advanced enough to play this kinda stuff. also, love the high quality video. some of the other lessons are so zoomed out you can't see as well (or they're fuzzy)
Thanks for the quick tutilidge brother. The whole step down tuning makes all the difference. I've checked out all the Crüe video lessons for a refresher course, and like your style. No 25+ minute courses to get to the point. I was pretty close by ear on LOOKS THAT KILL but I like your chord choices better. Thank you for taking the time to make these btw 👍👍 Your kids Doo-doo request sold me to subscribe. You can't make this stuff up, Classic LMAO in Ohio!!
The main issues is ASS HOLES There everywhere. You can't escape them.. They have nothing better to do.. Like get a job i don't see there video. where is it.. yeah just what i thought. you did fine man you know if we treated each other here a bit better and nicer this country would be a better place.. Furthermore it is taring down of others that make you a loser. the worst thing you can do to some one. these comment speak volumes of there character. >>>> Keep up the good work MARK..
Incorrect. It is a whole step down. I worked for Motley for many years and I also live in the Detroit area where this youtube user plays in his tribute band. He is correct on the tuning
Sam is correct...the main theme riff is shown here incorrectly. And just so you know, there is one way to correctly play a riff...the way it was played by the guitar player that recorded it.
@@fastcarfastbike Ok there champ there might be "more than one way to play a riff" but the exception should be a "HOW TO PLAY THIS RIFF" INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO where it would be swell if it was shown the correct way. 🤘👌👍🖕
These videos are great, I never thought of learning motley crue songs until I found these lessons.
Yeah, I 2nd that. But they're pretty fun to play aren't they. Just learned Too Young to Fall in Love. Great tune, easy rhythm and solo
You are the best Motley Crue instructor.

Never enough said about what a great guitar player Mick Mars is!
People say that so much.

Motor City Guitar, what a great store!!! I go there all the time! Nice!
Great Videos! Would you either do a video on your Amp and Pedals are set up or explain it?
Thanks!

Thanks, Mark. This is awesome.
Great video Mark. Helped a lot. I live right outside of Detroit. Glad to support a fellow Michigander!

Would you ever do zoom lessons or anything like that?
I dig it man hell yeah brother keep on rockin 🤟🏻
EASIER TO PLAY THEN I THOUGHT .THANKS
Why would you not make these things possible to save in a file so we could look at them later?
maybe you’re not familiar with how youtube works homie, but this video is here and you can come back and watch it as many times as you’d like 🙂
@@MarkThomasMusic I'm very familiar. And save is a thing.
this video helps thanx i only got a few hours to learn it and get it down..
Wow I never realized until now there's no guitar solo in this song. Strange thing for the 80's, I guess its fair to say Mick was ahead of his time....
great lesson sir
Good job man, sounds right to me!
👍👍👍👍👍
Wonderfull tutorial man
nice axe
Thank you
your voice sounds like Dave Mustaines

This song, per their official music video, is a half step down and not a full step.
Incorrect. It is a whole step down. I worked for Motley for many years and I also live in the Detroit area where this youtube user plays in his tribute band. He is correct on the tuning
Yeah, it’s a whole step down. The whole album is. Matter of fact most of Motley’s stuff was.
Almost all motley Crue material is one whole step down.
True to the "All above" comments. This tuning is growing on me, I like it.
You played it wrong
there's more than 1 way to play a riff.
any non fucking wannabe guitars would know this.
