The best beginning teachers are the ones with a pleasant personality like this guy cause that can curb some of that beginning frustration that can make or break a potential guitarist. @@CarlBaldassarreMusic You're welcome. Carl, I'm not sure hahaha, I have a hard enough time remembering them to give one! Btw, worded better I meant to say that your temperament is the type I'd look for in a teacher of any level as well but since it had the beginner theme & especially fits for frustration. My first teacher tried to take me through Mel Bay's Theory of Reading Music when I was a punk rock kid that didn't know what a 5th power chord was yet. 10 years later Greg Douglass(ex Steve Miller Band) started teaching in San Diego and he made it fun. So maybe Greg or Steve but Carl still sounds better. Cheers!

Rule of 9. Any interval inverted inverted will sum to 9. So a Major 2nd inverted becomes a minor 7th. And 7+2 = 9. Even more head exploding is the fact that major intervals become minor intervals when inverted. And…wait for it…perfect intervals when inverted…remain PERFECT. 🎉 goodnight everybody! ❤

It’s the Marshall, but I’m bypassing the preamp channel and going direct to the power tubes. (Use low input, and set preamp up to 10 - that acts as a bypass). Then I’ve been using a Bogner LaGrange gain pedal to get that drive.
