A solution to this could be to use a paper like screen protector but beware if your using a Apple Pencil or any digital pencil for that matter, it might wear out the tip
I use ICares matte screen protector on mine (it’s less rough than paperlike) and it has not worn out my apple pencil. Adjusting your pen settings so that you draw more lightly will also help prevent that.
I’ve been drawing for a while, but sometimes the answer I’m looking for is still just ‘practice’. I haven’t done a lot digitally and after you said that I’m realizing I don’t need it perfect my first time.
Thank you so much for sharing this video with us all I just recently got my very first iPad and barely know about Procreate features yet so this was very helpful

I’m sorry I still don’t understand what you mean about canvas resolution. The first squiggle was jagged but then you didn’t change any settings and said it was nice and sharp… Does it not matter as long as you don’t zoom in while drawing?
It matters on the final result as well. You should choose resolution depending on the purpose of your drawing, for example if your canvas is 1000*1000 px when you print it on a bigger canvas the picture won’t be crisp, also it affects the amount of detailing. You can see what i mean by using the same brush of your choice on different sized canvases. I hope I answered your question :)
I tried to draw using monoline but my strokes don't look like your outlines at all - I turned on streamline but it looks so forced? Idk how to explain..your lines look very whimsicaland natural mine looks fakes oemhow
for some reason I don’t have stream line.. Do u know why
They’ve updated Procreate since, you can find it in “Stabilisation”

"Practice doesn't make perfect but it at least makes something" is so motivational fr thank you
I'm so damn used to traditional art that digital art can be very tricky for me due to the super smooth surface. thanks for this!
Maybe you can use paper like if you want 😃👍

So true, it is very slippery

I just purchased an ipad and procreate and my procreate has no streamline as one of the brush parameters. Is that normal?
They’ve updated the app since, now you can find it in Stabilization
How to add pressure in the pencil??
‘Just press on the screen more a d relesase
I don’t see streamline when I go to brush studio :(
You can find it under Stabilization now, the app had updated since the video

How do you get the taper lines? Can you show or tell your taper settings
I used one of the default brushes. Just regulate the pressure with your hand🤷🏻♀️
You are as smart as you are beautiful.
Russian subtitles? is that mean what i think?
And what do you think?
Good tips. You need a little spellchecking though 😅
Okay, English is not my first language 👀
