1. 0:14 - Hold pen in place to make a straight line.
2. 0:20 - Hold pen in place to make a perfect shape.
3. 0:28 - Tap with two fingers to undo.
4. 0:33 - Hold with two fingers for multiple undos.
5. 0:35 - Hold with three fingers to redo.
6. 0:42 - Tap and hold color circle to return to the previous color.
7. 0:46 - Drag color circle into a shape to fill.
8. 0:49 - Drag pen to left or right to adjust color fill threshold.
9. 0:57 - Detach color menu by tapping and holding.
10. 1:01 - Create color palette using a photo.
11. 1:08 - Merge layers by pinching them together.
12. 1:11 - Tap and hold checkbox to select a single layer.
13. 1:15 - Lock layers to prevent painting on them.
14. 1:23 - Procreate save automatically.
15. 1:31 - Don't close the app/artwork if you have mistakes you want to undo.
16. 1:36 - Duplicate artworks/layers to have version control.
17. 1:45 - Slide layers to the right to select them.
18. 1:50 - Group selected layers to organize your work.
19. 1:58 - You can liquify multiple layers.
20. 2:06 - Use scribble feature to write layer names.
21. 2:16 - Tap and hold the eraser/smudge tool to use the same brush you recently drew with.
22. 2.26 - Use alpha lock to paint within bounds of a selected layer.
23. 2:33 - Slide layer to the right with two fingers to toggle alpha lock.
24. 2:39 - Tap 'N' on a layer to toggle opacity.
25. 2:44 - Tap layer with two fingers and slide to adjust opacity.
26. 2:50 - Select multiple layers and drag them to the canvas to duplicate.

28. 3:07 - Use 'Continue Filling' to tap to fill.

31. 3:37 - Drag to the right of the brush size/opacity slider to slow the speed of the slider
32. 3:43 - Use two fingers to drag brush size/opacity sliders around the canvas.
33. 3:51 - Dynamic brush scaling keeps brush size the same when zoomed in on the canvas.
34. 4:06 - Use left-handed interface if you are left-handed.
35. 4:12 - Toggle light-interface for a brighter display of tools and interface.
36. 4:16 - Tap the eyedropper button to search for the canvas for specific colors.
37. 4:24 - Tap and hold on the canvas with your finger to activate the eyedropper tool.
38. 4:28 - Use recent brushes in the brush library to avoid toggling through different brush families.
39. 4:37 - Slide brushes to the left to pin them to the library so they don't disappear when you use new brushes.
40. 4:46 - Slide a brush to the left and tap 'Find' to see what brush family a brush belongs to.
41. 4:57 - Tap and hold a layer with two fingers to select only that layer.
42. 5:02 - Paint a selected layer.
43. 5:07 - Toggle selection mask opacity.
44. 5:14 - Swipe with three fingers to erase everything on the currently selected layer.
45. 5:20 - Pinch artwork with two fingers to make it fit the screen.
46. 5:23 - Tap artwork with four fingers to view it without sliders.
47. 5:29 - Slide down on a layer with three fingers to pull down a menu to duplicate that layer.
48. 5:35 - Turn up streamline and stabilization on brushes for smoother lines.
49. 5:47 - Flip canvas to check for mistakes.
50. 5:50 - Use freehand selection tool.
51. 5:57 - Fill areas in a selection using color fill.
52. 6:03 - Slide automatic selections to the right or left to adjust selection threshold.
53. 6:14 - Slide adjustment options to the left or right to adjust intensity of the effect.
54. 6:23 - Tap on the screen while adjusting to preview changes.
55. 6:30 - Use pencil option to select specific areas to apply effects like Gaussian blur.
56. 6:44 - The direction you slide in while using motion blur is the direction of the blur.
57. 6:49 - Use time-lapse to review your art-making process.
58. 6:56 - Lower opacity of an image and create a new layer to begin tracing over it.
59. 7:08 - Insert a private photo so it won't appear in the screen recording.
60. 7:18 - Go to the harmony tab in the color menu to create color combinations.
61. 7:30 - Double-tap in the color circle to get pure values (white, black, or hue)

69. 8:48 - Recolor anything by dragging crosshairs over to what you want to recolor.
70. 9:03 - Find layers to get rid of stray marks.
71. 9:20 - Tap and hold layers to copy them into other artworks.
72. 9:31 - Use the reference panel to see your entire work while zoomed in on a particular area or view a reference photo.
73. 9:43 - Drag an app from the dock to the side of the screen to operate in split screen mode.

92. 12:50 - Turn on the drawing guide and select perspective to draw in different perspectives.

94. 13:41 - Invert a sketch layer to make it visible when creating dark artwork.

The two fingers to drag out the control menu on the left and move it doesn't work anymore. You drag with one finger over the centre button to get it to pop out to be moved.

Just got an ipad and procreate, before this I used an android tablet with sketchbook on it. A fine app on its own but I wanted to up my digital art a bit. Thank you for this! It will help a ton with the transition from Sketchbook to Procreate

Can someone help me out. I seem to be missing some default brushes like the soft brush is one that I know I’m missing. How can I get them back. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it but still missing the brush
@ I’m not exactly sure what happened, I just know I don’t have it. I figured that deleting the app and reinstalling it would bring it all back but it hasn’t
@ so I have a small Brush with a squiggly line in the upper right corner. When I click on about brush it wont let me reset it, it just says creat new reset point and reset brush is greyed out.
Did you ever find the answer? Maybe you could find a forum to ask. Or reddit. If you could find out the settings, you could just recreate the brush.

I enjoyed this. A couple shameless self-promotion here and there; we love to see it, and for as long as I have been following you here and on Patreon you still taught me something new! Dynamic brush scaling would have come in handy not too long ago. Also now I know what the front and back settings are for in the warp tool. I had no idea that making a sketchbook file using page assist was even a possibility! oh and I definitely need to make a signature brush.
