This song is a reference to Nikki Sixx's heroin overdose back in '87. I literally saw them a month before. He was clinically dead for 2 minutes. Long enough for it to hit the radio airwaves that he had died.2 adrenaline shots to the heart and he was back. He went home and shot up again. He's been sober now for years. Songs to check out. Girls,Girls,Girls, Primal Scream,Dr Feelgood,Same Ole Situation,Home Sweet Home,Live Wire and the best WILD SIDE!
Right back at the start, the Too Fast For Love album, was when the Crue were really good. Probably their least popular, most maligned album, but surely their best? They were a good band back then.
You react to such great varied bits of media! Thanks patrons! And thanks JMBOY for reaction sir. This is fun rock! Partying, fast cars, women, loud music.
You never outgrow a great sound!! That's why a lot of younger people today are discovering, and liking this stuff! Most of us that grew up on this, still listen to a lot of it now, and always will! By the way, grunge didn't start till the early 90's!! Not the late 80's!!
@@sonnymontigny4733 I outgrew that great sound because it was played nonstop on the radio and MTV. I certainly appreciate it occasionally now and absolutely get why people are rediscovering it. Grunge did start in the late 80s. If we want to be technical, it started in the mid 80s.
Motley Crue was the poster child of sex, drugs and rock N roll! You had bands like def leopard, poison Etc but Motley Crue dominated the 80s rock scene and it’s not even close! They lived the life they sang about and some! Absolutely iconic, nobody will ever be like them! Their life story is wild!
@JMBoyTV, the "talk-box" is typically called a throat-mic or mouth-mic. With the synthesizers progression those can use a small tube that you literally put in your mouth and distorts the sounds (example: Snarky Puppy - Sleeper)
The bass player Nikki Sixx just turned 65 today.🎉🎉🎉 And that is saying something because he died twice. He's literally the hottest recovering junkie I've ever seen....saw them after the pandemic with def Leppard and poison and Joan Jett... 🔥🔥🔥😂😂 I told my surgical teams last year to play this if they had to do CPR 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
The words have a double meaning. Tommy Lee was a heroin addict and arrested from an overdose. The EMT kept using cardioversion as he recognized his patient. Tommy men tioned waking and seeing the epinephrine syringe in his chest...hence the words of "kickstart my heart, hope it never stops". It is also the story of the band.
Never never ever play this in the car on freeway or u will get a ticket! Lol
Facts! Any Motley Crue song for that matter, especially wild side 🤣

Great reaction! BTW, you have the most beautiful smile!!😊
I went back over it a few times. I didn't see any girl up there. If the person at 5:35 is who you saw, that's Mick Mars, the guitar god.
Ah, the high speed hair band of the 80s. Always gets the blood pumping. Some of us outgrew that sound-enter grunge in the late 80s.

Only the soft ones moved to grunge, we went from Motley Crue to Metallica, not grunge 🤣
