The customer knew what he was getting into. Snitching after the fact doesn't make him any more honest.
Yeah that guy is a straight up 403 for that
Exactly!!
Once, I allowed city employees to park their equipment overnight on my property, while their where doing street paving, few days , and at the end they fix the entrance and a stripe of asphalt. Was a good deal.
Thats very fair id say
Gary Caldwell it’s called context clues. The sentence is not that difficult to comprehend.
while they were doing
that's way to nice 👍🏾 if I was them I would be to lazy to do the same shit after a hard days work 😪
He was honest about his dishonesty
He took zero responsibility
My dad used to work on the county road crew and they would use any left over material and offer to use it on the driveways nearby at no charge as long as they signed a waiver just in case somebody tried to sue them.most everybody was grateful
That. Man who planted the seed is the one who is cheating us tax payers he knows better that will cost him dearly you watch
Exactly! These reporters are misinformed and don’t care as long as they have a story! God forbid they actually do some actual research? They think that’s so corrupt and always bring up tax payers money but they never dig into what elected officials are throwing tax payers money at. I guarantee it’s far worse than using left over asphalt…
This is magical! A driveway gets paved with asphalt for almost nothing and no one knows who did it.
Nice to hear City employees were actually working. Usually just standing around which is more traditional way of stealing.
$200 that's like $5000 off deal, and as he say tax payers money, he is a taxpayer and a snitch. He helped the brotha out and he did him like that.
Did him dirty!
$200 is actually really cheap.
dam that really cheap
No shit ...... (Off to go find city employee who needs 💰💰💰)
maca attack dude its cheap as fuck! Ive seen driveways no more than 50yrds long and single car wide, go for $15k.... Asphalt work is extremely exspensive
$200 to get the guy to ask them to do it, not $200 for the job
+Caiden coffman He paid the guy to get a city worker to do it while on city business. The homeowner knows it is wrong. Anyone knows this is wrong. They both were wrong, and both people should be criminally charged.
The buyer somehow never ever thought there is something dodgy with such price??
It's like Receiving Stolen Goods. If you buy something really cheap, they see you knew it was stolen. $200 for that paving job is like buying $500 iphone for $50 bucks or less. He knew everything.
Good analogy
He gets his driveway paved for only $200.00 and then he switched on the people that paved it for only $200.00?!? Call me petty, I would be there early in the morning pulling that driveway up for free!!
Why take the destructive route? Just bill him for the actual cost of materials and labour.
@@MisterMister5893 Can’t just bill him after the work is done have to have it in black-and-white before starting work Or not liable to pay anything because there was no contract
@@treverbickmore476 Fair enough but your'e committing further criminal acts by destroying someone's property. The absent of a contract could be argued you did it out of friendship or anything other than a commercial transaction. It's a lose-lose situation.
well since the asphalt belongs to the taxpayers why not let them get what they pay for?
Jimmie R because you said tax payers Not a private driveway. That's meant for the roads and everybody to use not for private shit
Jimmie R And what was he going to say? No comment? I've never liked the "no snitching" attitude. I know many neighborhoods and residents that need to stand up to criminals and throw out this garbage "no snitch" policy. It lets crime prosper and murders roam free.
Lol
blaZzinG_FurY murder and this are two different things and you know it. Quit regurgitating garbage and comparing apples and dog shit
Shadapp 'tard !
Damn neighbors🙄 help them out and still snitch😂😂
Indeed
must be White people
Jealous people
Shaufique because they are honest?
LMFAOO
I asked them to do it, i never told them to do it....

They are usually crooked and trying to divert blame.

The neighbor mad he didn’t get his drive way done
the property owner can repay the city for the time and materials.
Have to disagree. Dude works for the city. City workers should pay for everything they stole from the city.
This is something our city employees do all the time
They must all be black.
bro, im an electrician and i do my job right...
I used to work for the city. Would have taken about a minute to mow a front lawn. Still not worth potentially losing one's job over. In a small town though perhaps this wouldn't be as big a deal if all the tax payers collectively agreed on it.
So... that makes it okay?
@@arthurred5905 ...um I'm pretty sure the home owner was a white boy.... "I was plantin' a seed, no doubt, ok? ... but I didn't say 'do it.'" What a load of horse shit. Your 'innocent white man' is just as culpable, if not more.
At least the ride is smooth until you get to the road.
MFXdump : NOW THAT'S FUNNY AND TRUE !
I wouldn't even be mad
Lmfaooo, I’m dying over how the interaction beginning at 1:15 was actually a real-life visualization of bix nood… 😂💀
Idk what the case is here but I know when they were paving the main road were I live, a mom and pop gas station let them park the equipment there so they repaved a few spots in return for them.
cameron carr the station probably had a deal with the city for that, the work as payment for land usage
@@cpufreak101 I've worked in construction for years. Not uncommon to use house power and water for 2 - 3 weeks then pay the bills for about 2 months. Win win. Private contractor in agreement with private home owner.
I just saw a video about three city workers in Ft worth Tx who resigned when a neighbor filmed them doing this too
Dude, same.
I’ve caught a city employee “borrowing” a riding lawn mower to cut his and the neighbors grass. He also took and used a heavy machine to replace a light on a utility pole beside his own garage but never replaced the ones alongside of other homes and streets. I also saw him using it to cut down a tree across the street from him on a Sunday when it shouldn’t even be used, it’s his day off. That equipment is not paid for to do private jobs at their own homes.
Ok you’ve seen everything from behind your blinds
Dumb homeowner should have never admitted he knew what was going on
He pays his taxes...he co owns the equipment.
na x so that means you can go borrow a tank anytime because you pay federal taxes? Or that you can tear floor boards out if a library? Or camp out at a publicly funded convention center? Nope. You may be a stakeholder but you don't own it.
@@aBusybee oh shut the hell up!
LOL you have it very wrong..............
Now Job done right and Ethan Steel . You two get a room and make up. These love spats are gonna stop and I mean STOP RIGHT NOW . Do you two understand .LOL
@@jobdoneright5934 You don't mind getting robbed? Are you that fucking stupid?
So the homeowner gave his handyman $200 cash to pay to city workers to pave his drive way. When the workers agree to it. He records and take pictures of them and then sends the video and pictures to the news and complains about it....... Talk about throwing everyone under the bus
Everyone saying $200 is cheap... he's lying, it was more than that.
Can they fill my swimming pool with city water???
Never forget there is always somebody watching
He should have said that they did it for free.
In Tennessee, TDOT will pave around 20 feet sometimes when redoing a road.
That man should be ashamed of himself 200.00 for that job sure you didn't know what they were doing
tax payer money.. tax payer payed for supplies.. tax payer pays employee's too.. I don't think there is anything wrong with this. y'all just jealous you didn't get your driveway done for $200.
brandon dutton taxpayers money is for public schools, roads, federal buildings etc not for residential purposes
I know you are lacking in a high school education but there is no such thing as a free lunch. Google it.
Maybe you're right, we'all is just jealous.
brandon dutton sadly dumb asses like you vote.
It's called ethical conduct, theft of materials, and fraud.
Don't steal the government hates competition 😂
So he had someone do all that work for a great deal$$$ then takes pictures and calls the news?
I think it would be just as easy for them to bury him under a road somewhere I wouldn't say nothing 😂
lol!
lol that's how I got my driveway done a envelope with cash
lil nick I know who you are and I'll be reporting you
I highly doubt he just gave his neighbor money to have it done, not saying the other guy doesn't have anything to do with it, because he probably does to. It's your house your money, don't act dumb like you don't know.
Oh no not the grammar police. Get a life dude
Bruh the white guy knew he's just not a snitch
The entire bunch is guilty.
lol snitch
frankie vicente fucking true
Snitches get stitches
this happens everyday in my city. utilities are city run and every guy that works for them is a "electrician or plumber on the side"
Well sure, thats legal so long as the private work isn't done on city time or using city resources.
My neighbor is an electrician and he fixes his meter every summer to where he runs electricity without the meter running so he has his air conditioner on and doesn't pay that bill every month.
$200 to pave a driveway. What a deal.
Crazy when a full load of asphalt is about $2k
Typical criminals. Once confronted with their crimes (yes, using city property and materials for private work is a crime called theft) they get angry and deny.
He knew it was wrong but he still gave them 200.00. Put him in jail along with the city workers.
I don't care about this stupid crap. This is not the corruption that matters.
Lets talk real loud and at the same time and be redundant and they will leave us alone!
The same people that do a month worth of work in a year.
Someone should be in jail over this.
The home owner should be charged also !!! Nobody gets $200 dollars to pave driveway
Everyone is willing to do a side job !!! Fuck the system
Look man can't nobody hustle anymore
Those 2 guys they interviewed were great lol
This is probably not the 1st time this time this has happened.
Big deal. Where I work supervisors take money from workers, 500 pounds, before getting a contract, 500 pounds after you get a contract. 10 people, 10,000 pounds for doing nothing. Corruption is everywhere.
reporter almost got his ass kicked by them workers..lol
sounds like the zebra from Madagascar 😂😂
He tipped them $200 for a $6000 job
User Use Yea people saying this is no big deal dont understand how much is being stole from the taxpayers. Paving is very expensive.
User Use Hell, $6,000 would be a steal! My driveway is probably a bit larger but mine cost around 20 thousand to pave... 10 years ago.
Damn he snitching so fast
I was a paving contractor, it was hard enough making a living. There are only a handful of legitimate contractors that had licenses, equipment and did the right job. We had to compete with the fly-by-night contractors and now you have to compete against city employees that don't own a single rake....Shame on you.
if you think city employees are making bank.... go work for the city! those guys are making less than 15$/hr. they got to feed their families too!
@@GorgieClarissa Soooo What you are saying is it's OK for a city employee to grab a job with benefits, paid vacation, sick days, multiple holidays off, 401k, pension after 20 years and then go do a crappy job for a paying customer with the city owned equipment and materials stolen from the tax payers????.....You must be a democratic/
Maybe do a better job or actually advertise. Maybe your prices are to high. Can't be mad at other people for making money just like you're trying too
@@karmen9514 karmen, Did you actually watch the video? They used city-owned equipment and materials that were purchased by the city.....So please tell me how that is NOT stealing ?????
Hope the city sends them a bill for the rental and materials.
You gotta love how they try and confuse the report by talking at the same time....
No. They're telling you the homeowner is the one that asked them to approach the city workers.
Can we get an update to this story, or can someone point me in the direction of the update.
I pay taxes , so I helped pay for the driveway. I have no problem with it
Looks like a real life Hank Hill complete with fenced yard
I don't believe it was ONLY $200. But if true that's a steal! I would take that bargain all day! Big ass driveway too!
200.00 bucks? Arrest them ALL!
Damn he'll throw them in the fire when they did him a favor... just to cheap. Country stuff right there.
There's a lot bigger fish to fry than him
The owner is just liable as the workers were.
Workers should be fired and the homeowner sued for labor costs and materials.
What state is this in?
Happens every day. I was a contractor and doing some demo on a house. City dump truck driver came by and offered to haul everything away for $100 with no dump fees.
i know nothin man u got a banana?
The first problem is thinking you could get your drive way paved for $200! Who could possibly think that's realistic ? in this case he got what he paid for! There is other investigated reporting where people have paved several thousand dollars that had a worse quality done driveway then what he did received that's a rip off because they actually paid real money for a paved driveway!
...and no one goes to jail!
Nothing wrong here .... Just a tax paying hard worker getting his fair share !
He knew.. Mike was hoping he could get some work under the table.
It'd be one thing if the guy just asked them if they could come grade his driveway real quick if they have time. But using asphalt and all that is another thing.
Fire those big mouth employees for accepting the $200, and send a bill to the house owner, who claims to kn ow NOTHING was wrong!
Dude your neighbor tried to help you and you screwed him wtf
Eric Cartman's voice* "whats the big deal it dosent hurt anybody, fuck fuck fukedy fuck fuck
200$ to get your house paved, wow.
Old dude got a deal of the century & blown away all street credit for snitching. Besides, I’m sure the city’s officials waste way more then that everyday.
Everyones so quick to put blame on the man and his neighbor, but no ones mentioning the city workers who actually broke the law by doing the work?
Many years ago, My Father was in the process of building a Double Garage. We owned a corner block and the Garage abutted onto the side street. One day Father was approached by a Council Worker advising him that they had some Concrete left over from their job around the corner and were willing to dump it , for free, into the form work of the Floor of Our Double Garage, which My Father had yet to pour. My Father accepted and within Minutes he had a 6 Man Work Crew pouring, screeing and levelling enough Concrete to Cover the entire Floor and the short Apron from the Garage Door to the Council Footpath which ran alongside of the side Street. As it turned out that became the best Garage Floor My Father ever had (& the cheapest).
200 dollars for hours of work. They just wanted drug money. That's a 5000 dollar job. Now you have no job
pointing the finger at someone else is their answer
Oh Florida. First state to go when poop hits the fan.
Acts of this nature are a common occurrence around the country.
Wasn't an asphault job. Just levelling and coompacting dirt. Time and equipment, no materials. This could have been done on a lunch break
I mean he probably shouldn't be doing that but it's not like the city is using any of that equipment or materials to actually fix the roads
BIG troubles for somebody
I'm not bothered by any of this..
Mike "never spoke to the city" but was ok with bribing city workers. I sure hope he was eventually charged. Watch the interview again, he most certainly knew what he was doing.
you voted for hillary #Bafoon
Paul Geyer absolutely you can see it in his responses. He knows asphalt work goes into the thousands easily...
Sean Styles Wish i knew why you said he voted for that crook lol. Funny either way comment thumbed up
Yes, that homeowner guy admitted to paying $200 to get the city workers to do the job. He should also be charged with a crime.
Matt0719g He can be charged with receiving stolen property. If the City pressed charges, he would have a hard time convincing a prosecutor or a judge that he didn't know where all that asphalt, machines and those workers came from. They don't just fall out of the sky.
I work for a gas company and we have blacktoppers and they came over and did my driveway. when I worked for sprint my entire family got free phones and a huge monthly discount. perks of the job. why complain about it. nosey ass people clearly just pissed because they probably didn't like the neighbor.
That asphalt belongs to the taxpayers which includes the property owner. Let him get use out of it. He was willing to pay $200 on top of the taxes he already pays to get his driveway redone...
Secondly how did the news crew just happen to be there at the precise moment in time when this was going on to secretly video tape them doing this???? What are the odds?
happens all the time in every city
That’s bullshit ain’t nothing wrong with them making some side money
Jail time.
Brothers will lie like hell knowing they are guilty. They get loud and people back off. Bust there asses.
