+duckeradin13 Stop comparing the two bands. Hellyeah is nothing like Mudvayne, Tom Maxwell's style of playing is not anything close to let's say Greg, or anyone from Mudvayne. Also, get over it Mudvayne is gone, Hellyeah is not just some replacement for Mudvayne. Mudvayne is great, but put that shit some where else no one wants to hear/see it.
duckeradin13 they've actually never sounded like mudvayne bro. Chad brings some slight mudvayne style in ever so often but other than that 98% of the time they've sounded like hellyeah which is their own style. This is probably one of the greatest metal bands that's ever hit the scene because of originality, consistency in style and very heavy. If it wasn't for Chads vocals i think this bamd wouldn't be as good as it is. Not saying Vinnie and the others don't contribute to their greatness but to me Chads vocals really match their style and sound and without him this band wouldn't go anywhere like it is now.

I can understand it just fine. Maybe metal isn't for you
I have auditory processing issues which means that I frequently hear things wrong if I only rely on my hearing :).
While I do sympathize with your auditory processing issues (Can't imagine how much that sucks. Sorry, man.), I'm afraid there's really nothing that can be done about it. Metal is kinda built on vocals like this and usually after listening to growled or screamed vocals for a length of time, you start to get a penchant for picking out the words. It's unfortunate that issues like yours exist and I really do feel for you. The best solution I can offer is to look up lyrics or lyric videos to metal songs, or just avoid metal with screamed vocals. There's plenty of good metal with clean vocals.
