As a 25 year old in 2024... These are the songs that speak too me. Nothing against the modern but. These is the way i feel with the good guitar and drums and vocal. And the true meaning still. God bless all you rockers and keep that head up. Your never alone
Hey brother you sound like a cool dude. I'm 42 pantera was big when I was in school. I play drums and vinnie was a big influence. You keep doing what you doing man. And, God bless you ❤
This song hits better when you realize Vinnie spent a lot of the last part of his life in grief with dime, and for him to get this final goodbye to his brother he got to go out peacefully in his sleep. RIP Dime and Vinnie
Fuck dime and all that shit he said bout Maynard and tool. I quit listening to him the second i heard his interview. He was a punk and was no better then anyone else playing at that time idk how he was anymore famous then some of the others of that era that where just as talented as him. I had no idea Hellyeah covered this song. They did it justice and then some. RIP Dime, Vinnie, their mother and their dad, who passed this year. They're all together again.
This was just amazing. The First part moved me more than the original. And the second part just progressed so well into the natural feelings that can come next. Gives the song so much more feeling.
@Darrell Hobbs me too. Very sad. This was already a sad song before Vinnie passed... now that he has joined his brother, it's even more sad! RIP - two of the greatest musicians to ever live.
All I can say is that with all that this city has given me throughout my life...those 2 and their music have given me more than any of the shit that we've got now! They're the only reason that I can say I'm from Arlington,TX and be proud to say so! RIP to my hometown brothers and the first round is on me when I finally join you.

Izakk Playz try pantera out. They have some very killer tunes my friend. I too am an old school dad and mines 15 now. He's heard a lot. But that band was iconic and had guitar riffs that kept metal going in the 90's. But Hell Ya was a band of ex band of members of other great bands too and they went together perfectly. There's a plethora of amazing metal out there, in so many varied genres, but you got a basis of some legit shit to start from. Just rock to what hits your soul man.
Even though he's gone.. seeing that Dimebag silhouette in the dark in a new video brings me so much happiness. This was a great song in its Phil Collins version. I'm glad they could bring Dime's guitar tracks into this and make it their own and that this band is starting to find some identity that's not party metal. It deserves better than that with all the talent it has on board
Bobaflex- Hey you. Pink Floyd cover, and it is fucking amazing. I’m almost sure they did it because after they did Sound Of Silence, Disturbed copied them and did their own version.
Vinnie Paul....Most badass drummer EVER! Miss you SO much Vinnie! Saw you live at Black Sheep in Colorado Springs, CO before your body died......BEST concert EVER! Your soul lives on! May your soul be at ease.
I always saw him like Keith Richards of US, just as talented or even more talented, beautiful videos and just the choice of music, I mean how can you not like Genesis. I hope they rise again.
If you ever have a chance to see hellyeah live, go! they are one of the best, and its hard to find a band out there just having fun. These guys have a straight up blast on stage, nothing like seeing Vinnie, smiling the whole time, and the love and respect thats shown to him. Hellyeah is something special, and only Chad was able to bring Vinnie back to music
its pure magic how they added Dimes playing to that song, just after the bent strings that was silenced, RIP Dime, and now, VP, "You are so missed in the metal world"! and minute alone w/ Dime's lightning axe! too perfect!

Imagine them driving up Cooper Street and around Randal Mill Park over and over with thousands of other kids driving around partying, listening to this on 1 of 3 radio stations. That's what Arlington kids did then and you could have heard some of them saying this is the song of the 80s. That's about the time of Pantera's first show.
