This song is an absolute masterpiece
Of course Adam Gontier is on it ^^
Adam Gontier's best work.
I love it Adam always sings it beautifully but those classical instruments are an amazing accompaniment.
Indeed

Yo!!
Top music! Waiting for more Thanks!
Every single day
Yep
Adam's vocals really complete the beautiful instrumental of this song. It's actually amazing how well that man can sing
In three days grace he was awesome but saint asonia is Epic. Least that is my opinion, others can agree or disagree.

No one's voice is better than Adam's when it comes to singing like this.
The depth and pure grit.

So true 🙂

Yessss
His voice will live in history for long past our days
I'll never understand why this song wasn't more popular, it's fantastic. The strings take you on a walk through a fairytale, and Adam's vocals are the wolf waiting in the trees.
Adams too scary for some.
It was huge when it came out.
I heard it on an episode of smallville.
it was a big hit in Europe and was on MTV often

Adam Gontier is such an underrated singer, definitely doesn't get the praise he deserves
He's called the best post grunge vocalist in every list, TDG is one of the most popular band at the start of the century. So, I guess he's rated enough and surely deserves it
This band was put together because of their talent
He is NOT underrated in the slightest

Honestly one of the most liberating feeling ever. Is when someone no longer has that control over you mentally. They're not important anymore and you truly don't care anymore.
Yes 🙌 took awhile but I got there.
What? I don't get the point of the song ? He do not care about what? does this mean we people are nowadays very SELFISH ??. I have noticed in social media 🙄😥
@@vasstagoarchipelagus5954 well for me this song makes me think of my father. He was never there and when he was he emotionally and verbally abusive. I am in the process of healing and recovering from the depression he caused and I don't care if he lives or dies as long as he does it as far away as possible from me. It may sound harsh but how can anyone expect me to miss a man I never really knew? He didn't even try to be a good father
@@d.r429 Although Not many will understand, they have not been in our shoes. I always get “she’s your mother no matter what” I had to finally cut her off. She see’s nothing wrong with her abuse in which I endured for years. The person who was suppose to love & care for you. I’m a damaged person and because of what she put me through, some stuff still affects me today. I feel mixed emotions. You do what’s best for you because at the end of the day, you only have yourself. People will turn on you and hurt you. Work on becoming a better person & healing. Look for answers which means facing the past. Sometimes you won’t find answers nor understand why but know you are worth so much. Don’t ever feel like you ain’t.
@@vasstagoarchipelagus5954 It means, after 28 years of marriage and almost losing my mind when he left me I realized one day I didn't owe him anything. He only took and I only gave and after you give all you can, it's not possible to care anymore. Don't know if he's dead or alive 15 year later, and it's the most free I have felt since I was 25. I was not the selfish one, and now my life is finally my own.

I am shocked rock music in general is not as popular, like the other music genres, I love rock the most since I was younger, and always will.

From flutes to bagpipes to cellos, people have seen the dominant melodies in rock don't always have to come from a lead guitar. This song was superbly done.

This is absolutely nostalgic due to first having heard this early in the mornings during summer vacation before middle school and it really set the tone of my 'era' of emo, which this makes me feel like I'm getting old.
Every part of this song is beautiful individually and together. The lyrics, the singing, the violin(my favorite), the guitar, the drums. And then to put it altogether is simply amazing.
Except, there's no guitar in this song. It's all the strings played by Apocalyptica. Amazing how much like a guitar a cello or violin can sound when plugged in to a Marshall stack. Just saying. They only bring a drummer on tour, and various singers like Adam Gontier.

Undoubtedly the most emotional song that I can listen too and never get sick off.
I really love this video. It's so beautiful. The house acts as a carefully nuanced metaphor for the mental/emotional space of the narrator. The cramped room in which the band plays and in which Adam sings, symbolizing how the narrator feels trapped and restricted in his relationship with a woman who completely neglects and ignores his needs while she takes what she wants from him, and while he does his best to do what's right and make things work. ("I try to make you see my side, always try to stay in line. Your eyes see right through [...] I've got no room when it's like this.") The bars, the birdcage, and other cages augment the emotional prison. In fact, the entire home is a dollhouse, full of whimsically dressed dolls, in the domain of a girl who does what she wants with her dolls, placing them here and there in the hallway, but who is growing up and will soon be leaving her dolls behind as she tires of them. There's the room in which temptations are rejected and emotions are denied, adjacent to the dining room in which the characters, in their weakness, feast and finally give in to their passions and desires. When you're in denial, but you actually care very much. The darkness, of course, acts as a metaphor of despair.
I will always love Adam's voice.
A friend introduced me to this band; I always loved Adam Gontier, and it love at first hearing with Apocalyptica
