found this band yesterday, binge watches this performance all day today
This whole set is a musical masterpiece. Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros were magical when they were together, I was so sad when I found out they broke up. I keep coming back to listen to "I Don't Want to Pray" and "Child" ... even after 9-10 years. Absolutely beautiful music.
I saw them live for the first time a couple of months ago. I waited outside by their buses to meet the band afterwards and they were all very nice. Jade came out last - I ended up waiting for about two hours to meet her. When she came out and saw the last few of us remaining outside, she came up to me and saw how cold I was and instantly put her scarf around me, gave me a huge hug, and thanked me. Jade is definitely a very, very happy and blessed person.
You're a fucking creep, lad. Just go home. Jade has no issues with you. Nor do you know if she is or isn't blessed.
Got pretty excited for a moment thinking they were back together since you mentioned you saw them all together, Jade included, a couple of months ago. Then I saw your comment is 9 years old 😢

Everytime the bell goes off in Man on Fire in the chorus I think my downloads are complete.
Seeing this is beautiful. To see the sincere smiles, the love for what they're doing, the unity, the kindness. Truly a wonderful sight.

Sitting in a cafe last Friday I found myself liking each song that was played over the PA. When I asked the staff who was playing, they said it was all Edward Sharpe. I am hooked. It is so lovely to hear great singing and Real instruments being played.

One of the best concert I've ever seen!! They give hope...
When I first heard "I don't wanna' pray" on the radio I thought it was a advert song about a car and he was singing "I love my car" so I turned it off at the beginning cause I didn't want to hear about how much a guy loves his car that he wants you to buy.
But then I heard "home", loved it and bought the album. Then realised hey they sing that "car" song. Found out it was "God" and wasn't a song trying to sell a car, so then I liked it.
Sometimes when I down and out I go to a bar and end out leaving more depressed then when I walked in. But this band always comes through in picking me up, putting me in a good place.
I think its a miracle and at the same time a shame this band is forgotten in many ways. At lease we know where to find the worthwhile music :) peace

I saw them live during SXSW last year and it was honestly one of the best shows i've ever been to
my favourite version of Man on Fire, easy bridge (didgeridoo difficult to replicate) and second part without singing an octave higher as in more recent versions

It doesn't get any more pure than this. Its good to see music with real musicians (Edward sharp, mumford and sons) making a comeback.
