I think because it's mroe free and flowing. often times sections of a song are recut over and over and moved and go through countless takes. When they perform live, it's just a free wagon rolling down the street. One shot to make it feel great and free. There's room for mistakes without long term consiquenses. @@petarmarjanovic4607 not real sure. I checked out her first album. It was just OK for me. 1 or 2 good songs. What it's lacking are the vocal harmonies that were given to us by the Lumineers when she was with them.

Just want to close my eyes and imagine that I'm there listening to You live, and just be in the moment of great music with an amazing talented band
Ich Liebe diese Band und Ihre Musik. Von Anfang an,als Sie in Deutschland eher unbekannt waren. Einfach nur schöne Musik
Can we take a minute to talk about how boss is the lad that threw that maraca to the cymbal at 12:35 ? Give him a beer!
Wow 🤩😂
Came here to see if this act of superpower musicianship was recognized. You are doing God's work in the comments.
Just brilliant!!!!!!
He timed it perfectly
the drummers voice and energy is everything
The drummer along with the lead singer are childhood friends that write the songs together
12:35
That was a perfect timming! Wow!!!
Never been the kind of people who likes lives versions of songs, but this... This is SO perfect
Agreed... what a beautiful set.
a beautiful beautiful presentation. the passion in wesley's voice is the same as the studio version, i think thats what got me.
because youre never saw actually talented musicians and sound techs ;)
YOU ARE 110% SPOT-ON.....THEY'RE GREAT---STUDIO OR LIVE.
I love you 💌
I don't know why, but folk songs always makes my skin crawl... Just love the way it emphasizes the tonic notes along with the percussion (Sorry for my bad english)
I love them being so genuine. God bless The Lumineers and all of those musicians who truly believe in music.
👏👏
I've seen this thousands of times and I never get tired. Absolutely amazing.
I love you 💌
Found The Lumineers many many many years ago. Before laptops were invented, lol. I don't know why I forgot about them because I love all their music. Hey Ho was my fav song. Was lying in bed tonight when I thought of that song and now have their wonderful music saved, again, on my laptop. Ah, the memories
I ❤️ the line ‘it’s better to feel pain than nothing at all’ so true!
I had never seen a concert being interpreted in sign language. It seems like such a unique concept!
The Lumineers were just amazing! I've heard their first album for weeks, day in and day out. Hopefully, I'll see them live some day and sing along to Stubborn Love.
May 2021, and I'm still loving this concert.
listening to Cleopatra at late night driving is absolutely something else.
I can't stop staring at her. She is amazing!
Too bad she quit and went solo. They replaced her with a violinist. She's good but it's certainly a different sound
@@traviskoontz6411 so, how is her career going now? After she quit? Did it at least pay off?
@@petarmarjanovic4607 not real sure. I checked out her first album. It was just OK for me. 1 or 2 good songs. What it's lacking are the vocal harmonies that were given to us by the Lumineers when she was with them.

this performance is well rehearsed. the way that guy threw a thing on the drum in ho hey is a master piece
I love you 💌
Ophelia is the best thing i have heard in a long long time.
me too
You know good music when it gives you goosebumps.
The guy in the shadows on the Mandolin in Ho Hey who throws some shit across the stage to perfectly time the one symbol hit is the real hero here.
12:34
:))
I just saw it too.. good eye!
and tap tap tapping with his bare feet too!
Fabulous band, perfect contemporary story-teller minstrels.
Just need to remark...I seriously get chills watching the first tambourine flutter at 20:30. Love this band so much.
I love this band. Their music calms my mind and soul.
When I was in the seventh grade, I discovered the Lumineers, and I shared them with my mother. Four years later these songs still give me chills and joy, and my mother and I still dance to them while we clean the house. I feel like these numbers are a part of me like my hand or my eyes; old and familiar.
one of the best bands in history. pure art
Awesome!!! Brings me back to four years ago when I discovered this concert
Dublin next week baby!!!!!!! Can not wait to see these guys again! Definitely will not be asleep on the floor.
Listening to this when feeling too much anxiety, helps me sleep. One of the best videos on RUclips.
I always come back to them 🫶🏼
I don't even know how many times I have listened to this, all I know is that they touch my heart in a way I cannot describe. Love you Lumineers
I listen to this nightly. Go to sleep most nights listening to it. ☺️
After listening to this around 100 times - I´ve come to the conclusion that this IS the best ever live set - the sound is great, the preformers are all great, the instruments sound great, the set list is great, the sound recording is great.. i cant find a single fault, except that it ends.. You really nailed it with this
This is the first time I have heard it and I agree with your conclusion.
Their music sounds like running away and finding a higher power somewhere out there
Couldn't explain it better with words
Exactly this.
Absolutely flawless. I thank God for letting me live to hear and watch this performance. Wish I could have been there live but hearing it now felt like I was lucky enough to be there!
