1 All people that on earth do dwell, sing to the Lord with cheerful voice. Serve him with joy, his praises tell, come now before him and rejoice! 2 Know that the Lord is God indeed; he formed us all without our aid. We are the flock he comes to feed, the sheep who by his hand were made. 3 O enter then his gates with joy, within his courts his praise proclaim. Let thankful songs your tongues employ. O bless and magnify his name. 4 Trust that the Lord our God is good, his mercy is forever sure. His faithfulness at all times stood and shall from age to age endure.
@@chessthecat I think you'll find that the Church of England was using that church long before they split from the Bishop of Rome. You sound very bitter about the reforms that took place during the Reformation.
@@chessthecat it’s not a Catholic rip off at all. Yes the site it sits on has been a religious and monastic site since the 1000’s but the Abbey has been rebuilt and extended by English Monarch’s whilst it was still Catholic, Henry VII being one of the main ones, hence the Henry VII lady chapel that he built and now has 15 monarchs buried in it. Rome didn’t pay for any of these building works, it was the English Monarchs, so not a Catholic rip off at all. And if you look inside a Catholic Church and a Church of England church you’ll find the differences are stark. And if we are talking about Catholic rip offs, remind me just how much wealth the Vatican sits on again, plus all the treasures and artefacts they keep hidden and locked away from the world. They make Nuns and Monks take vows of poverty whilst they sit in their papal apartments living like princes, honestly I could go on.

The British Crown really does show why they were such a powerful influence throughout the world, and it was GOOD for the world that Christianity was the central driving force behind the monarchy. The British still maintain that heritage, and their natural successor (the USA) should look back to their parent country they rebelled from and repent. Return to our heritage. We have bastardized the 1st amendment in ways that the devil is more than gleeful. At this point I'd rather give back the land to England if only to restore a Christian heritage.
@@Saxondog You're correct, that is the greater argument. This world is in God's hands. I just wish we Americans were doing the Lords work in a similar fashion to how the Brits managed to bring proper common law to the world. Common law stems from biblical truths.
