    Great info. I've just been to Windermere and got back yesterday (31/5) - horrible weather too.
    I made it there on one charge which was handy so 168 miles mostly M-way travelling and 25 left on the GOM..
    There are 4 x 62.5kW Instavolt chargers at Booths supermarket so charged there for the way back. Unfortunately I found I was about 15 miles shy due to strong headwinds so had to stop at Gretna Ionity for 5 kW and home with 10 miles left.
    Regarding the Powerpass card, as far as I know it only works on charger 003 which was, guess what, the only other charger occupied. That's the 4th time so not amused.
    Your comments on Travelassist are interesting, I've found the steering assist to be very nervous - at least on the motorway - so much so that I turned it off and left the car on cruise. Also, it's not very clever on country roads!

      I've used the powerpass on all 4 units at Gretna so maybe you need to get your card checked. Headwinds can play havoc with the efficiency and force a change of plans though.
      As for travel assist do you mean lane keep assist or the full travel assist (ie auto steering)? Travel assist is meant for dual carriageway and motorway not for country roads according to the manual. I certainly wouldn't like the car to be doing the steering and controlling the speed on twisty country roads, I prefer to steer manually and use the throtle manually too on roads like that. I've never had any issues at al with the lane keep assist but I do wonder if that's because I have the plus pack with travel assist.

    Great summary. Thank you for sharing it. I am just wondering at 9:30 you have a table shows the charging history. How did you get it? :)

    What navigation app are you using and how do you find out the battery temperature? Also what's required to use ionity chargers, not as simple as contactless payment?

    • @enyaq_gorm
      @enyaq_gorm  2 года назад +2

      Navigation app is A Better Route Planner
      Battery Temp is shown on the phone on ev notify app and on ionity I use skoda powerpass card up tap and charge. That way it's 25p per kWh, otherwise it's 69p
