Another nice feature of the key is that you can turn off the alarm, especially if you go on a ferry or transport the car. Press the locking button twice within two seconds and it will turn off the alarm.
Hi Matthias, very clear and explanatory video. Thank you. Always handy to turn back to if I forget how to sync a key. Compliments on your English👍 It’s a lot less ‘rusty’ than in your earlier videos
Hello and thanks for the great videos! It just happened to me that the little nob that secure the charging cable was on and didn't retracted with the key button (only one push because I didn't saw your video before :) ). I was advised to use the emergency cable by Skoda customer service ( they didn't seem to know your double push method!!
I would add, that you can remove the keyless entry feature (for safety reasons) from the menu of the car. So then you need to press the button on the remote to open/lock the car (not on the handle). Afterwards you can put the remote in your right side pocket and use the car as keyless.
You can also set the car to only open the driver-side door with the first press of the unlock button. The rest of the doors then require a double press on the unlock to open.
Are you sure about the memory and the Keys? The key still stores seat and mirror position, but it stores whatever position you locked the car with last. Use the key again, and it moves the seats and mirrors to the last used position. But it does not work with the keyless opening. And it does not connect to the profile. (My car is 3.0)
So there is practicaly 3 ways to use the memory function. 1: use the buttons on the seat. 2. Select the driver profile. 3. Lock and unlock with keypress (re-selects last used settings)
Please help! I desperately want to turn Off that feature where pressing the open button opens your window! It's happened several times that the button accidentally gets pressed in my pocket, and it opens up the car completely. How do I switch off this pesky feature??? Can't find any info on it...
I albsolutely hate Enyaqs fobs. Especially the fob range. instead of promised 30m I got 2m or less. not to mention how kessy sensitive is. sometimes I have to reach my fob in the pocket to wake up the fob to open the car. Should I also mention how Skoda blames fobs for incidents with the roof and windows open randomly?
I prefer not having a profile on key. Why on earth would my wife and i need different car keys. We use one key and whoever is using the car takes it. Never used key profiles exactly because of this. The second key is the spare.
I’m in another situation. And would like to have the opportunity to select from the menus. So I can choose to sync profiles ore not. Profile sync with keys, is the one I would prefer.
This key is worst key I have ever used. VW sucks. Basic design from this company is impossible. I think they have fired all of their engineers because of social justice or something. I have lost one key and need to buy a new one for 600€. The funny thing is that I used the key with keyring and it unlocked the emergency key leaving me without any ability to use the car. It was only a snowstorm and -20c so I hopped into my car to warm up. Couldn't operate anything, only triggered the alarm as I went in. Good thing I was only 1km from bus stop and I needed to go back home to get spare key. Awful design. Breaks also really easily uses a hell of a lot of batteries. This is as reliable as my Enyaqs front suspension arms and need fixing every 1500km

Thanks for both your feedback. It's always great what the community knows so i can learn even more and show this in another video :)
Great! Learnt how to remove the charger cable
How did you get into the car when the key was not recognized? With the manual key?
What does it mean when a key is not syncronized with the car?
Excellent video very helpfull thank you 👍
I've only had to press unlock once on remote if cable is locked (not charging) and doors are open. I do not recall that I've had to press twice.
Is it still like this, or did they fix it with the new 85'er version ?
What if you ONLY have the physical stick key. How do you use it to start your car then?

Thanks for your feedback. Never tried it without KESSY

@Speicherelektrisiert where is the link for the key covers?
I cannot open the flap, it's stuck even when unlocked. Please help fast. Many thanks

I have the oposite problem. My car starts warming and turnes the light on when i move inside the house with the key in my pocket.
Hmm i have an electric opening trunk door for my Kamiq but I dont think it also closes remotely.

Maybe you have a link to buy an ENIAC key cover I can't find online
Perhaps it will help, if You seach for Enyaq key cover instead of Eniac
Good luck trying to get the plastic part off with the emergency key. Mine won't budge

Or pair your profile with the Bluetooth of your phone, even more convenient. And no, Skoda will not do that, they don't give a shit
