Like, even in the very first prelude, in bar 5 & 6, where the decending chord-forms are played super fast. Debussy didn't write it that way, and you can even hear the proof of that in his own piano rolls that he made.

@@MontoyaMatrix Playing exactly what is written shouldn't be the goal while performing the music. Sheet music is a tool, not a goal!
