Brandenburgers?!! bit early for them ;0) Vehicles failing an order test do reverse and go down if the criteria is there - the Matilda was the in front arc. However it's a reverse move straight back @ half the advance move rate so 41/2" pages 102/103. This came up on Facebook when I was chiding you about the aforementioned Burgermeisters :)

@@bringbattlewargaming8720it is useful but it doesn't really help escape some situations. I put recce on my Chaffee then realized that it's not like a wheeled vehicle (and others with special rules). If you're lucky you maybe able to crunch into rubble for hard cover, get a -1 to hit on your opponents roll or get out of range.
Awesome Game! The monkey magic at the end had me pause to finish laughing. It is for hijinks like this that we play the games. Can call him Enos( only chimp to orbit the earth) Imagine him throwing peanuts sized grenades to scatter the onrushing enemy

Sadly the only British thing I got is my Valentine Mk III X Infantry tank for my Soviets. But I have 20 vehicles for my Germans everything from a lowly Kettenkrad to a monstrous Jagdtiger. My top 3 are probably my Brummbar then SD Kfz 251/21 Drilling and finally my StuH 42 both it and the Brummbar with Schurzen skirts so as to negate PIAT or Bazooka shots to the sides.
Pistols are assault weapons when going to hand to hand and so fall under the assault rifle and SMG in the rules. I have seen a lone Soviet sniper team wipe the floor of a 8 man Veteran Grenadier unit when the Grenadiers only killed the spotter and the sniper team killed 3 of the Germans and so won the confrontation.
