It doesn't have to be a USB sable, does it? I have plenty of Nokia chargers, those old ones for the large round port.

Holy shit this actually worked!!! I woke up a completely non responsive battery from a Neato bot vacuum using a 9volt. I was about to spend $50 on a replacement. I cannot thank you enough!!

Holy Moly.....I revived my 10 year old dead C5-03 using this method. Thank you so so much. I had to use the phone charger with USB cable. I tried to do this with PC USB but didn't work.

1/2hr later. Quit charging. Will jump again. Failed. Next battery failed on first try. Will get a nine volt and try again.

It's safe if you know how to do it. It's better to use a 9V battery for this, too safe. It's afe only on small batteries for phones, cameras and other smaller gadgets

Do yo have to use electricity?
Yes, I use electricty from a 5 volt adapter. Do not do this, you can cut a usb cable and use + and - wires to jump start your battery from a computer or another source. I know how to do this, but this may be dangerous for you guys. Use a computer instead
How do I do this with an iPod?
Same thing if you can remove the battery from your iPod, but use a 9V battery, it's safer

Hi, yes, you can use this method for all cellphone, camera batteries and so on that are completely dead. Do not use this for bigger batteries as they can explode. Only small batteries
But my battery is 3.8 Volts
@@rickastley5931 You can get a universal adjustable adaptor if you have one or 5 Volts is fine as far as you get the source from a USB port like a computer or any source that is not an electric socket. A few seconds is enough to jump start a battery.

No please, do not do that. Use a 9V battery to jump start camera and phone batteries only

And, This morning i tried opening it but after some time it automatically switched off! And i needed to jump start the battery again so i did! And now it is stucc at 0%!
