Modern CDPR aren't even the same people who made 2077. Most of those people left to either start a new studio, Rebel Wolves, or got poached by studios like Warhorse.
Warhorse are going places real quick! Can’t tell you how excited I am for KCD2! It’s gonna be so good! I honestly hope that CDPR keep it together and pull it out the bag, but obviously there are worries now.
@AVVGaming1 I was surprised to learn that KC:D sold over 8 million copies so far. KC:D 2 I think will surpass it. Incredible studio that apologizes for nothing and doesn't cave to the weirdo mob.
When 2077 was being made, people cried about that the people who were doing 2077 weren't the ones who did Witcher 3. Then the game came out and it was almost a flop. Then they fixed it 90% and people are back to liking the the company. As long as they don't become an oblivious company like Ubisoft or EA, they will get better. But, there are much bigger issues than working with Sweet Baby Inc or the people leaving the company. Most people don't realize but the world is in economic turmoil and you either risk it all and go big or play safe and slow. Companies with investors have to choose the first option and therefore many will evaporate. I am betting my money on private companies (hypothetically, of course, since I cannot really bet my money on them and that makes them great).
@@exysa2798 proof devs in key rolls from previous witcher games still work there , ya know like the CEO of CDPR said .One of the Lowest turn over rates in the industry. But what would he know about his own company.
Sweet baby once stated the official sweet baby website that longer exists and I quote “one of our goals at sweet baby inc is to burn the games industry to the ground!”
Such a hot subject on social media at the moment. I have said my piece on it and hoping to move on from it now. I’m sick of hearing about it and last night I read an interview from the person working with CDPR now and man…..it’s so bad.
To be real, I think us Cyberpunk 2077 fans should just create our own spin off games, content, and universes. CD Projekt Red became the very thing Cyberpunk 2077 resented.
If y’all are writing stuff please share! I want to make videos on the stories written by others and have a few who are writing Skyrim type work at the moment!
They outsourced because most of the developers who worked on Cyberpumk and Witcher are gone. They are being replaced not by qualified people based on merrit but on DEI. The next Witcher will be a massive failure I'm afraid.
Some people are saying that it wasn’t sweet baby but someone else, but it still remains the fact that there has been a trend of this happening a lot in the gaming world. I’ve just read an interview by the person hired by CDPR and the arrogance in it is atonoshing to be honest.
So, they couldn't hire talented writers to take their place? I'm sorry, but Sewage Barf Inc is anything but talented. Just keep divisive politics OUT of gaming as it has been before.
@AVVGaming1 Western Gaming World... the Easterners, for the most part dont give a flying F about it, thats why western media dont cover them or try to write em bad, like Stellar Blade or the new Marvel "Overwatch" Style game made by a chinese company, coz it has attractive women in it that are no no fugly unlikable girlbosses. Unfortunately, some of them give way to much on the access media shills and have started to implement DEI garbage, started censoring stuff and all, why here in the west the resistance against this garbage gets stronger by the day and amny companies already suffered heavy losses because of the implementation and sledgehammer in yo face methods used. Some even have cancelled their entire DEI departments or drastically shrunk them or try to hide it better, but want to keep checking ESG boxes to get that ESG money, so they arent all alone in their losses.
It's not even purely DEI. It's radical ideologues who are obsessed with propaganda even to the detriment of escapism and good storytelling. DEI is just a cherry on the top.
Take it from a Polish man - worse things are going on at CDPR than what you mentioned... especially now. And there are a lot of concerns. Aside from devs moving from project to project, many moved from the studio entirely. Poland isn't really such a great place to live right now. In the last decade or so, many things shifted and the once cheap and protected job laws got overridden by years of taxes upon taxes, so with the current inflation and electricity bills alone - running a gaming studio is hard, to say the least. Still better than opening a studio in the Silicone Valley but it's not as smooth as it once was. So people left, including two main writers who worked on Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. Many left, perhaps too many. Now, hiring Sweet Baby Inc. isn't even necessarily the worst thing, it's not like all the games that the company worked on were flops... The major ones are where they send their "best people" and where the direction is somewhat nebulous and unfocused. Still, those are just rumours, I can't find a single article confirming the involvement of Sweet Baby Inc. with CD Projekt RED anywhere. But the writing team that brought us Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 - oh, they're gone, so it's not all great... It's hard to tell where things will end up but there is yet another, glaring issue with upcoming CDPR games... The Engine. CDPR is leaving their own tech and focusing on Unreal Engine 5. Upon the launch of UE5, Epic Games shut down the official wiki, the place where people went for resources about the engine. As it stands now, aside from working hand-in-hand with Epic Games, there is no assistance focused in one place. Now you might be thinking that it's not a big deal, it's Unreal Engine, we have seen games running on Unreal Engine for decades now... Every single release utilising UE5 has massive issues compiling the shaders and properly allocating CPU cores resulting in games seeing minimal graphical improvements and still not being able to reach a stable 60 FPS when graphical settings are lowered. Especially on consoles where games like Gotham Knights didn't even attempt a 60 FPS mode. UE5, currently, is a mess and nobody is talking about it. In truly worst-case scenarios, crashes and lag make games unplayable. REDEngine struggled but I don't think that the switch to UE5 will be much of an improvement on the technical side of things... and we all saw Cyberpunk 2077 on launch. A repeat of that isn't likely but if Epic Games or CDPR won't find a way for UE5 to properly allocate shaders and utilise modern CPUs properly, it will be another disappointing launch, only this time... Well, patches haven't saved any other UE5 game from technical issues so far, so if it launches broken, it might never be possible to fix.
@@NevermoreNeverAgain what a fantastic comment! So insightful! Honestly, the whole sweet baby thing is so confusing because it’s been confirmed, then unconfirmed, then everyone says it’s true then it’s debunked. It’s just a crazy situation. This video was more to give an idea of why people are worried about them despite their strong track record. Your comment however is even more detailed and gives so much context. I had no idea Poland was going through that much difficulty at this time. I think it’s crazy because we value these gaming studios a lot and often it’s because of 1-2 influential people within the company who handle the writing. Once they move on, or leave the industry entirely, the game studio never seems to be able to catch up. I naturally hope for the best for CDPR and hope they can pick up where they left off. But sweet baby aside, I know a lot of people are stressed about Dei in gaming in general. I think we’ve seen so many small studios grow and we assume that means better quality but in actuality sometimes it ends up being their downfall eg Bethesda . It’s a strange place in the gaming world at the moment. If you Google games made in UE5, the website has cyberpunk listed on there even though it’s not true. It’s crazy how much misinformation there is out there. How and when did they change the job protection laws?
@AVVGaming1 Oh, Poland is a shitshow right now. Now, I live in a small town, a small house with solar panels and I got a power bill last year that was about as much as I spent on those solar panels plus installation and setup, honestly if I lived alone, I'd be broke right now. Imagine CDPR people, living in Warsaw or Cracow, where the bills are astronomical. Where the company is being hit with even larger bills. You can't get a raise, bills grow, prices of food increase, everything is getting more and more out of hand and while the government is giving you some tax relief they secretly pass a bill to charge you more for healthcare tax or something else, so what they offer they take away and then some. And try to keep people as CDPR with all that going on. Try to convince someone to come and work for you... Also, the writers are a bit weird. They don't really need to be at the studio, they're not really needed for all of the development process. Could be the ones who left could come back as contractors, working remotely. But Polish game media is silent about Sweet Baby Inc. and CDPR connection as if it wasn't there. And I don't know about Cyberpunk 2077 but I am fairly sure that Witcher games were first written in Polish and then localised into English and other languages, so hiring Sweet Baby Inc., an American company, to write about Slavic myths and legends feels kinda... nonsensical to me. Hearts of Stone expansion is basically a retelling of Pan Twardowski story from Poland, a Faustian tale but uniquely Polish. What would an American writer even add to that? I actually am more worried about Unreal Engine than the writing.
You said pretty much everything I wanted to say, I completely agree with everything you said + you can see this disaster already in "next gen" update where it looks the same as original game on ultra, but it wants 3x better GPU and DLSS to run it with solid FPS, why? It doesn't make any sense, did they switched to unreal engine already in next gen Witcher 3? At least you can go back to original game that runs in native 4K with 120 FPS on today HW and looks fine. For me as Czech, only hope is Warhorse studios. I saw some developers from CDPR at comic-con Prague this year and they didn't even know who is Dan Vávra - the "biggest animal" in our gaming industry and guy who wrotte story for Mafia 1 and 2 and created Kingdom Come, that was really weird and maybe even shocking for me. They were talking about something and moderators was like "yeah, Dan Vávra could tell you, he is also here" and they were like "Who?" Ofcourse it's not mandatory to know him, but if you are Polish gaming developer, you would expect that they know what's going in neighbor countries, especially when Kingdom Come was pretty much direct competition to their game.
I’ve beaten it over 5 times from start to finish. I am always playing it. There will never be a time where I’m not playing it because it really is just that good.
Where is the proof they are working with sweet baby inc ? I've seen videos claiming this no one has shown a shred of proof tho .. if anyone knows where to see an actual statement from CDPR with Sweet Baby inc please show it.
I'm very worried about it. But still holding out hope that they just give SBI a task to write side missions and CDPR pick the ones they like. This way they dont let DEI go unchecked.
@@cyberpunkdarren I’ve still got hope as well for one major reason; they ain’t let it happen yet. As of now, track record is clean. Look at BioWare or Bethesda, track record is bad now. CDPR are still doing fine so we hope for the best!
Its truly sad if this is true, I've had the suspicion for a while cdpr was going down this path as someone thats always enjoyed the politics/character discussion around these games. Just hope they get the memo when they start doing trailers for this
I honestly think their writing is top notch. I think it’s amazing and I just feel if you bring someone in to monitor the writing, the creative freedom is stifled. As a result, you end up with DAV which took no risks, had no shocks etc was just safe.
Bad writing in video games has always been a trope of the medium. DEI topics + bad writing has some special sauce that seems to particularly outrage people. I think it’s a fad that will calm down and I can deal with it in the meantime.
Yes I remember making videos on CDPR games and a lot of people did not like it and kept referencing DEI and sweet baby etc. it’s amazing how big it has become and spread so quickly. The dragon age in particular was a crazy time. I think maybe we need some more positivity within the industry. For example, the other day I saw a RUclips release a video about Indiana Jones before it even dropped entitled “I’m worried about this game.” The game dropped a few days later and he gave it stellar reviews. But it was entitled “it surprised me”. It’s almsot like positivity doesn’t seem to get pushed as much as the negativity. Crazy times indeed! And you’re right, we have seen many video games with awful writing before. Which one do you think was the worst?
Why do you think freemasonry and the great work is a “fad” that will “calm down”? Because “dei” is pushed by the ruling class / government and is in direct accordance to theirs holy books (including the iconology) that you can sometime buy in auctions. You can try going to “interenchere” and leaving an alert for “franc-maçonnerie”
@AVVGaming1it's pretty simple people use "woke" for views and money even that it's not a main reason some games/movies etc suck it's just an addition that is in good movies/games etc too
The witcher 3 is one of only two games ever that made me cry that's how good its writing is, but the thing is the people responsible for that are pretty much all gone. Just like with BioWare CDPR is not the same it was, a lot of their most talented staff left after the release of Cyperpunk, the new guys and girls are unproven so who knows how their next game turns out. I feel that if the writing suffers in their next game it could be because of Sweet Baby, or it could be because the old guard is gone. If anyone cares the other game that made me cry is Tell Tales The walking dead season 1. Great game try it out but don't bother with the other seasons, it just gets sadder and sadder and not in a good way.
I cried at both of those two games, xenoblade chronicles 3 and rdr2. Those games just hit you right in the feels! Walking dead season 1 was so good. Lee and Clementine. It’s so hard to get writing that good in video games. Actually BG3 made me tear up a bit at the end when you rekindle with all your companions. I think if a game makes you cry, it’s the sign that it’s top notch!
@AVVGaming1 It's very rare that a game can make me cry but man is it a weirdly great feeling when it happens. But please no BG3 spoilers, I only just started playing it today again after dropping it after only 4 hours of play last time. Not because I didn't like it I just got busy with other stuff.
XLetalis made a video about Witcher 3 and how it came to be...just the original story would've been 3 times as massive as its already in the game...go watch it. :)
You guys are tiring me the same way the woke tired me all these years. Wokeness is a continuum, just because you are on the other end of it doesn't mean you are not woke. You are simply an alarmist just like the woke.
I used to think this, until I learned that cdpr owns GOG, you know the game selling DRM free website that is in direct competition with steam who offer DRM free games. The ironic thing is I end up noticing there are certain things that GOG does better than steam, but there are things steam does better than GOG, both companies do something I hate, and it cost only makes me think I need to leave one for the other at some point. I don't want to support a woke company, but in a way steam is kind of woke with all the games they allow on their platform and all the freedom they allow their game developers who use their platform to get away with certain things that's are kind of anti-consumer. So I end up in a situation where I'm constantly weighing the options, I wish there was a better alternative, I mean there is epic games, but I also don't want to support communist China, the only reason to use that platform is to get free games other than that it's worthless.
@@5226-p1e Your wokeness is appaling. You sound just like the so-called woke people who were against this and that company for this and that reason. Steam is literally an open market. You just asked for censorship. I don't know what GOG did so wrong to make you upset. And there is nothing communist about Epic Games, it is the most capitalistic of the three companies you mentioned. To me, it seems either (a) you are a bot, a bad one; or (b) you lack any kind of knowledge to that would help you understand the world. So called communist china got all that money precisely because all the Capitalist companies moved everything there to make more profits. Such brainrot.
Sweet baby Inc. is a consultancy company based on sensitivity reading writing amongst other things oh and they’re also credited for the writing of suicide squad kill the justice league that just literally got it final notice
Cyberpunk 2077 had tested my faith in CDPR and actually gave me hope for the company to make more good adaptation (Witcher trilogy is the sequel to the books & Cyberpunk is technically a sequel to the tabletop Cyberpunk red) but holy mother of god i have no expectation and faith in the sequal, its gunna pander soo hard with that game
I really hope that’s not the case but if so, then it won’t be as good. Writers should be given complete freedom to do as they please in my opinion. It’s art. It starts getting worse if they have to make sure x box is ticked
Fingers crossed although I strongly believe Witcher 4 cannot exceed Witcher 3. I don’t believe a game will upstage that for many years. It was just so good on every level. To replicate that is near impossible and so many other games have tried. Cyberpunk would be difficult too. I have beaten both games about 5 times each lol
@@paledrake you think so? Awesome game but Witcher 3 to me was like 1% above I feel. Still both games that set the standards. See I feel differently about bg3 though as I feel Lorian can actually match and improve on that game. They are a well organised studio.
@AVVGaming1 I think BG3 offered more in-terms of side-content and the combat was way better than Witcher 3's. I consider BG3 to be a breakthrough in terms of turn-based gameplay and story-building (making your own choices, multiple consequences/outcomes, branching story). Witcher 3 made more games reconsider their quest designs, but that's about it. Besides that it's just a really solid game. I didn't feel like it did much for the industry as a whole.
7:28 "Recently it was announced, CDPR would be outsourcing some of their writing to a company called Swee Baby Inc." 😂😂😂 I saw the announcment too. And then i woke up from the Nightmare. CDPR never announced that. Stop believing everything on the internet. Watch the new video from Neon Knight. Oh btw SBI and DEI were also involved in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. Thats why it was rated that low right. Only an 89 on Metacritic. Everyone hated it. Oh wait
Thanks for sharing that! I have not seen his recent video and I will go and check that out now! I try to do research before each video and I swear they had hired someone from sweet baby inc. I’ll need to check out the video asap! Thank you for sharing! Trust me, I love cyberpunk 2077 and phantom liberty. Not saying they were bad at all, this was more a video to inform why some people don’t love CDPR at this time as much.
@AVVGaming1 CDPR never hired a sweet Baby Inc employee. You got tricked by RUclips grifters. CDPR hired Mary Kenney as Senior Writer for Cyberpunk 2. She was a narrative Director at Insomniac Games (Spider Man Series). And Insomniac Games worked with sweet Baby Inc. RUclips Grifters: "CDPR hired SBI developer". Now you "CDPR Outsourcing to sweet Baby Inc". Are you all okay? You know that so much negativity reduces your lifespan.
I haven't seen any announcements that CDPR is working with SBI. That would be the kiss of death for them (like we've seen with other companies recently). The only worry i have is the ESG/DEI stuff that's going on, but if they're smart they'll keep this stuff subtle.
Thank you! That’s what I’m trying to do. I know being extreme one way or the other would garner more views, but I really want to be balanced in everything and put logic first. Thank you for the kind words! It helps me realise I’m doing it right as sometimes I wonder lol
Ignoring DEI practices, huge fans of Witcher have said they have zero interest simply because Geralt is gone and the Witcher is Geralt. This isn't an RPG where you can customise the appearance of your character, there's no milking the cow one it's lifetime runs out.
Don’t even get me started on that plot! I was going to do a video on that someday soon. It wasn’t just the political aspect of it, but also the pacing and direction.
The bar is so low nowadays that we praise companies for fixing shit that shouldn't have been broken in the first place. That's just low standards. If they fucked it up they should fix it. It shouldn't be praised but expected. Period. CD Red has a lot to prove. To fully and blindedly trust them is a foolish thing to do. As well as to blindedly hate on them. Skepticism is the best option imo.
I trust no studios, cos i do not need to. If they launch a bad game, i do not buy it, period. I suspect the problems on Cyberpunk launch were more related to publisher pressures than bad quality control. When I bought it, it was all fixed up and i had zero problems with it, and i paid like 30 bucks for what i consider the best RPG I played. I'm also a fan of Dragon Age, payed and replayed all 3 previous games many times, but I wont buy Veilguard cos it has nothing to do with what I enjoy in RPGs, and that is no problem to me. I do not need to play everything they launch.
BG 3 succeeded for this reason in this reason alone, every choice mattered you could interact with it or not you could kill that person or let them live. You had real player agency in that game and after that game a lot of these companies would do best to take note.
When it comes to GoW Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake, 90% of the writing is done by studio itself. They might have SBI to write remaining 10% to include some DEI content. But when it comes to DAV and Suicide Squard, the writing done by those studio was itself bad as they were not the one who wrote the previous title.
I am not a Witcher fan at all, like Skyrim better. CP 2077 is an excellent game that I completed twice. Have about 450 hours in it because I wandered around a lot. Sweet Baby has dropped the ball so many times I would not touch them if I were CDPR or any other studio.
@@ragingmonk6080 I think my opinion is “CDPR write really well, so don’t need to change.” They can just stick to what they did in Witcher 3 and CP77. Nobody complained about the writing and it surprised me to hear they have hired others to help out. Them and Rockstar seem to know what they’re doing. In regards to Witcher 3, it’s a great game if you care about story. If you prefer exploration, then it won’t be as good as Skyrim or cp77
CDPR lost me when I saw one of their execs announced a game called ESG. I haven't spent a nickel on a CDPR product including GOG since I heard this. Moreover, I would have hated Tash's scene even if it had been well written.
Bro, we fear about this, TES6, Mass Effect... at this point FIFA is going to have trans players in the main teams, and F1 games will have trannies drivers with buffed stats.
Feels like so many gamers these days are a ship long, long since sailed on having any good faith on topics of inclusivity. If they really want to get mad about the games industry, they could be looking at the top-down administrative issues, the massive layoffs, the consolidation, their self-ascribed favourite hobby experiencing the same enshittification as a number of other tech industries ... Or even worse, companies saving a quick buck by outsourcing creative work to generative AI. Publishers insisting not on games built as an experience to be enjoyed, but as an ongoing live service to score microtransaction income from. Instead they've scapegoated their brain into soup over Sweet Baby Inc and representation in media, and it's embarrassing to watch honestly. Seeing it right here in this comment field, people regurgitating the same whistleblow-tier DEI jokes, it's embarrassing. I know people who have been genuinely obsessing over the sales of games like Veilguard, and it's unsettling to watch how they've gotten caught in this "ha ha woke game bad" mentality. Imagine that right now they're also shifting that same obsession over to the new Indiana Jones game, just because their favourite angry gamer RUclipsrs got upset that there was that one dude with a rainbow shirt in an interview one time. It's a nitpick-fish of games they don't like, that fail for a variety of different reasons, that they can always boil back down to "woke game bad". People are letting themselves get knee-jerk mad over Avowed, Darktide, Gloomhaven, Ghost of Yotei, Shadow of War. Even goddamn Counter-Strike, Cyberpunk, and Elden Ring. Baldur's Gate 3 was the wildest, queerest, most inclusive-train game that could've graced the modern games market, though I guess it gets a pass in their mind becaues it breaks the "woke = broke" mantra. I remember GamerGate first time it came around, and the people who jumped on that bandwagon without realising they were being gaslit into being a bunch of hateful tools. And it is just so tiring that people jumping on this bandwagon now think they're doing something good. It's genuinely just sad to watch.
I pre ordered cp2077 and then played for maybe a month ish before stopping and never playing again. Didn't even finish it. Maybe I should give it another go
With sweet baby or DEI connected to Black Rock, it's some people have concluded or theorised. There is some level of funding involved. when you include these ideas from DEI. Kind of like a corporate social credit system, so to speak, but I don't have full evidence of this. Just theory.
We have a wallet. It can be open or closed, depend on Woke-Nonsense. Anything that in touch with the Creatures from Sweetbaby Inc. doesnt deserve any attention.
In nutshell: They became AAA western style corporation - the thing they were supposed to fight against, not turning into one of them. First thing that upset me was "next gen" update for Witcher 3 that looks in some aspects even worse than original game on ultra (I did detailed analysis of screenshots, so don't tell me I am a liar) while it wants 3 times more powerfull hardware for no reason, so they just joined this stupid modern trend, that doesn't look good. Second thing: They abandoned their engine and accepted Epicshit Engine, which means even worse optimalisation and forced woke rules they have to agree with Third thing: Even when GOG is suppossed to be DRM free and less annoying platform, Cyberpunk wants some extra launcher that is starting from GOG, that doesn't make any sense, it's annoying and it just looks suspicious and I am afraid that they will abanadon DRM free model in future, that would be sad. And the last thing I don't like is that years ago, they said that this is the end of saga, if there will be some new Witcher game, it's gonna be different time, different characters, not Ciri/Geralt saga. And boom, few years later, game literally called Witcher 4 where you play for Ciri. I should love it, but I am just very afraid because we clearly see that we can't trust CDPR anymore, they are not the same company as 10 years ago.
BTW, if you have GOG version of Witcher 3, I really recommend to backup offline installers of original game (not next gen) because you never know what bullshit they will make next week to hide original good and not politically correct version from you
On my channel I am going to add a whole new section called “indie game spotlight” where I will do special videos on all the hidden gems that people who love RPGs should play! Any recommendations for the first one?
Ragnarök was not bad in how the story is written, but absolutely a downfall from the first games specially the pay out with all the topics build up in the first game. Spider-Man 2 on the other hand was an extremely downfall compared to the first game. Both have still good, even better than the previous games, gameplay what also counts in and what make Sushi Squad double a failure. To be honest all I see from SBI and their influence makes me extreme worried. Nobody needs SBI cause their are very bad writers with nearly zero talent, everything they touches get worse, period. The only imaginable reason why anyone hire SBI and let them destroy the own work is if there are circumstances which forces them to hire SBI. But if SBI is involved, I have no more expectations for the upcoming CDPR games, in the very best case they will be mediocre, in the worst case not even average. But no matter how bad it will be in the end, the quality of a Witcher 3 or Cyberpunkt 2077 is impossible to reach with SBI involved.
I think when we play games it’s to escape reality for a bit. Not be constantly reminded of this stuff. And if it’s subtle and cleverly written then fair enough, but it never seems to be. It’s seems to be rihht on the nose and so obvious that it defeats the purpose. I honestly wish writers were just given complete freedom to write what they want how they want without having to make sure a tickbox is fully checked off.
I played Cyberpunk at launch on x box and I had no issue wathsoever. Dunno were you guys found these but I had not lag, no bugs no nothing and the game ran smoothly from a to z. Did you try to play it on a commodor 64? That might explain it.
Haha I’ve tried it a few times now and people, in general, do not like it from I’m gathering. They want me to pick a side for sure, at least that’s the feeling I get. Neutrality is not appreciated nowadays lol
The red baron would be honoured by such a comparison lol Todd Howard looks like every NPC in starfield it’s almost scary. It’s like he has eyes on you at all times! lol
I will wait weeks months and I will see how really bad it is. I am that guy hou is hesitant to buy any CD project red stuff. And I have cyberpunk +dlc all witcher 1-3 + all dlc's. BTW not every writing is good in the blood and wine dlc you can break a curse of an old women. And she is saying I watched my childres grow up and die. And in the next sentence she is saying that she have an heritage from her father because she never got married.
Yeah I’m sure there will be errors in there for sure. That dlc was still very special especially as the exploration part was very enjoyable in my opinion. I think the smart gamers are the ones who wait before buying. I mean why wouldn’t you? Nowadays give it 24 hours and you’ll have an entire walkthrough and over 1000 reviews to check out. You can make sure you only buy games you want!
Yeah I agree. I just wanted to address it because I’ve made many positive videos on CDPR and seen so many people leave comments about sweet baby inc etc on all of them.
Blackrock Larry Fink money with DEI ESG money has it conditions included like hire the crap Sweet baby inc grifters that killed of a lot of studios. Most of the talent at CD Project RED has left and the witcher 4 trailer confirms my suspicions DEI ESG implemented. I loved witcher 1 to 3 and DLC content but not spending money on witcher 4.
I think gaming series will always veer eventually and the things we love will eventually been unrecognisable. We’ve seen it time and time again. We have to cherish the things we do have and have had because things can become tarnished. I’m holding my opinion on Witcher 4 until I actually see gameplay footage but god knows I’ll miss Geralt no matter what.
Diversity should organically be present where it makes sense for example cp77 would feel weird if there wasn't diversity while in tw3 it would feel jarring and weird if there was, problem with the mentally ill crowd is that they want black and gay people everywhere for example angrboda is black in gow ragnarok like how does that make any sense a black mythological entity from the mythology of one of the whitest zone on earth, scandinavia. Keep your wallets closed people until this blows over there's emulation, the thriving indie scene (i'm currently playing drova forsaken kin highly recommended), the goty 2025 kcd 2, older games, gacha waifu games, the eastern gaming market etc.
I honestly have had KCD2 down as my game if the year for ever! I think it’s up against gta6 but it would win without that. It’s going to redefine the rpg industry in my opinion. It’s the next level.
Jesus, all gamers do nowadays is whimper and whine. I'm sure if Half-Life 2 was made today they would call it WOKE because Alyx was not scantily clad and was only a B-cup.
The whole DEI topic is huge nowadays. It’s crazy how it’s blown up and now there’s a list of “woke games” out there and it’s clearly not accurate. I think clearly some games have gone overboard but just like everything in life, it’ll sort itself out. This will be my last video on the topic for a while as I’ve covered it 3 times now and I feel that’s enough.
before cp2077 i won't have doubted them but leading up to its release and launch they lost all my trust and it's not a company i care for anymore. they have gotten too big and certain things are now expected of them, which has and will affect their future games negatively. and getting involved with sbi is gonna backfire big time, that company have done nothing but ruin video games and helped produce flops.
I played 2000 hours CP77 (dont ask) and its already as woke as it can get. There are many many points on the woke checklist so i wont list them. Witcher 4 and CP 2 will be waaaaaay more woke so i dont even consider to buy it.
I really want to ask though lol I’ve put in many hours into cyberpunk and never saw much wrong with it. It seemed like it was there but never too obvious? I can’t really even explain it. It’s like it didn’t bother me. Whereas dragon veilgaurd was over the top because it was written so on the nose.
@AVVGaming1 I agree that lots of "modern" or "progressive" stuff in CP77 is more subtle. Just a few points: - Ads with BDSM where only females dominate men - The Mox, all female coloured hair gangstas which is the only gang which you are not allow to kill, they are all bossy and all NPC dialogues in the Club are feministic and anti-men (Evelyn main quest too) - Lots of gay and trans content literally everywhere (NPCs, sex shops) - white guys almost not existant (especially with blonde hair) except as villains or idiots (Hellmann, Fingers, Forest) - everywhere female Boss leaders (Vodoo boys, Maiko, Rogue, Myers etc) - countless side dialogues and quests where they spread the message - narrative double standards for female and male villains (e.g. Songbird Kurt Hansen) You can see it need details to explain, kinda hard for a yt comment. But i could write basically an essay about it. Yet it was acceptable so i still could enjoy the game but PL intensified the message spreading, CP 2 will be way worse im very sure.
People shouting DEI bad are outing themselves rather than making a cogent statement about the game in question. Sure, a game is terrible and made you frustrated, but taking out those frustrations on a black character rather than taking the time to explore your feelings is... yikes! lol
People being sceptical of DEI is old news. Now they downright hate them for having destroyed every franchise ever considered by nerds popular, having overstuffed all current media with girl bosses, race swaps that make no sense and more homosexuality than one's gag reflexes can take, and having gone to far with their "inclusions", to the point that now they mostly predictably "exclude". The worst offender is their cult like behaviour, demanding cancelling, firing and banning and accusing of all kinds of -ism anyone who dared to say "tone it down a bit". That's why they are hated!
Yes and I just read an interview by that Marry Kenny and another colleague talking about DEI. And the way they spoke about people was so bad. Like if I said what they said, about any race/group I’d be hunted and rightly so! But they have such a high opinion of themselves. What I don’t get is why, despite it constantly failing, we get more of it? I feel like the majority of fans say no, but the people at the top say yes. It’s so strange .
I never got the hype with the Witcher or cyberpunk. Gameplay was great for both, but the writing and story, which seemed to get universal praise, fell flat in both. Witcher never really hooked me and i was bored 90% of the time, and the dialogue and writing in Cyberpunk was super cringe and lame. Dont get me wrong, i find 95% of game writing to be terrible. But these two games are held up as examples of good writing and what games can be, and its just the same bland over expository corny ham fisted garbage as all the other games.
God of war, Ragnarok and Alan woke two have barely made their money back oh, and let’s not forget sweet baby ink helped with Spider-Man 2 that has yet to make it some money back
Witcher 4 will not sell as well as Witcher 3 and it will not be as well received. CDPR is not the same team that made the Witcher 3. DEI hires destroyed that company.
No, they won't learn from their mistakes, because it's a new team making these games. Team made up from Sweet Baby DEI supporting activists. You have been warned.
I think you are being too condescending with CDPR, as well as many other RUclipsrs out there… It doesn’t matter if at the end they delivered something good with Cyberpunk 2077 - if you buy a new car, you don’t want it to start working well after almost 2 years, you need it running perfectly from day 1. So no, I don’t expect anything good from that company, and zero hype for their upcoming titles…
Totally get were you’re coming from! It was a big disaster and naturally it’s scary how it came out. Like how did that happen? I get a few glitches missed in a game like in a hidden section or little bits and pieces, but the fact they green lit it will always amaze me. Never seen something like that before.
@DavidGilNavalón1975 tell me , what is the major difference from society thirty year's ago to were video game developer's , writer's , artist, and programmer's , to what the difference is these day's , i would say it is politics' getting shoved into video game's ( you tube would ghost my comment if i said something else )
I loved both games, really really loved them. Especially the witcher as i'm a fan of the books as well. (Netflix ruin it cdpr don't you dare, do the same!) But i learned my lesson with dav. If Sweet Baby or any other company known for forcing their agenda on us is involved... well, it will be bad... maybe not, no hopefully not, but the moment i see one of those companies involved, pre-order is no longer an option.
I think it’s when you see the writing in a game and it makes you slap your forehead because of how awkward it’s shoved in. Like in the new life is strange, max sees a gender neutral bathroom and says “gender neutral bathrooms - we love to see it!” It’s that sort of stuff that just makes me feel awkward. It’s the way it’s written. Can’t really explain it.
@AVVGaming1 yeah, it just doesn't feel natural... and let's be honest, most of us just don't care about the whole genderwar, etc, and yet we're confronted with it all the time.. more and more, and now it follows us into our escapism
Holy shit no way this is true... They're gonna take their strongest point - storytelling and outsource it to a studio that makes the worst writing in gaming? Can't wait to get lectures as if I'm 5 years old... In the latest redstream, one of the devs reffered to V as he, she or them...There are already signs of things going badly
I know and I don’t get why they make the changes? Cyberpunk 2077 sold 30 million copies and dragon veilgaurd struggling to hit 3 million. It’s clear what the people want but it’s getting tiring being told “you don’t know what you want, we do”
@AVVGaming1 The thing is, I'm not against having customization options like having a dick on a female character. Go the BG3 route and just leae the option open. It's the constant lecturing on the pronouns, how you're doing this wrong and that wrong and that everyone is equal and whatnot. It just makes me fell like they're talking like I'm a child. There is no edge, everything is round - everyone must be walking on eggshells making sure you're saying and feeling the right things. I just want good, fun games. Just combine Cyberpunk 2077, BG3 and Sekiro without all the lecturing
Diversity worked in Cyberpunk. It will not in Witcher related games. They go the way of Netflix's Witcher they will P.O. many fans of them and the books.
I think that’s the point. It has to be there without us noticing it. We don’t notice in cyberpunk because it makes sense. If it doesn’t, like a group of snow elves from the mountains and they’re each a different race, it is too glaring and takes you out of the experience. Rather than being immersed, your thinking “I know what they’re doing here”
as a fan of the Witcher in the form of books (1990s) I kindly inform you that originally Ciri was in a relationship with Mistle. and an important element of the story was showing prejudices and racial wars (dwarves, elves etc.). it was really controversial but described with great sensitivity, wisdom and understanding. I don't understand why the Netflix writers wrote such crap - if they had stuck to the books they would have had all their WOKE and no one would have cried. and as for game 4. Ciri is a logical hero. after all, in 3 Gerald is retired;) and that she is dressed in the trailer? thank god - because when she was running around in just a shirt in 3 I was cold while playing ;);) and she is pretty (this is what my husband says - a 100 heterosexual guy ;);) she is just about 30 (boys - a woman about 30 does not look like 17). personally I am curious about 4. but - I pray that they do not ruin the atmosphere ;););)
Wow are you serious? I knew CDPR was in a bad position when they decided to open studios in America but I never thought they would go the SBI way. Well, farewell CDPR. I'm not giving money to a racist firme like SBI...
I saw an interview with the person CDPR hired and it was so rough to listen to. I’m not saying the whole company or anything but some people are actually racist whilst trying to save the world from racism! It’s honestly mental!
@AVVGaming1 true but as you said in your video it has to gel with the story and the writing has to be good, a group of random mentally ill people who don't play games won't write a good story and that's what happened with DA:TV
I hope some went to That's No Moon game studio.
Welp we got 2 masterpieces, it was a good run...
It was an amazing run. What is the third masterpiece ?

And cyberpunk phantom liberty @AVVGaming1
Sweet baby once stated the official sweet baby website that longer exists and I quote “one of our goals at sweet baby inc is to burn the games industry to the ground!”
DEI actually stands for:
Divisive
Embittered
Inequality
Such a hot subject on social media at the moment. I have said my piece on it and hoping to move on from it now. I’m sick of hearing about it and last night I read an interview from the person working with CDPR now and man…..it’s so bad.
@AVVGaming1 Compartmentalize it. Bury it. Mourn. And move on. :)
To be real, I think us Cyberpunk 2077 fans should just create our own spin off games, content, and universes. CD Projekt Red became the very thing Cyberpunk 2077 resented.
Exactly. I'm writing a series of cyberpunk novels and there's tons of cool stuff out there from small authors and developers.
If y’all are writing stuff please share! I want to make videos on the stories written by others and have a few who are writing Skyrim type work at the moment!
Annon Mutatem , is the game you Are asking for , sadly it went under the radar , AVVGaming you should probably play it
@@creatorsfreedom6734 a lot of the best games do go under the radar. I’m adding it to my list now!
Brother, Phantom Liberty released one year ago, and it's great game, for some people better than base game. And those people still working in CDPR
They outsourced because most of the developers who worked on Cyberpumk and Witcher are gone. They are being replaced not by qualified people based on merrit but on DEI. The next Witcher will be a massive failure I'm afraid.
Yes. Watch the new Neon Night Video on The Witcher 4. He has proof
Cyberpunk 2077 was their swan song.
Let’s hope not! But time will tell for sure.
That's why spiderman 2 had its problems
Dear CD project Red, allways keep in mind: We (the customer) can buy your game, but we don't have to. Go woke, go broke.
Let’s hope this doesn’t happen. Let’s hope they push through! Warhorse studios (my next video) just took a very good stance on this
WITCHER 3 IS THE HIGHEST HONORED PC GAME IN MY BOOK
I’ve beaten it over 5 times from start to finish. I am always playing it. There will never be a time where I’m not playing it because it really is just that good.
Where is the proof they are working with sweet baby inc ? I've seen videos claiming this no one has shown a shred of proof tho .. if anyone knows where to see an actual statement from CDPR with Sweet Baby inc please show it.
There's no proof. People just love to grab attention for the grift paranoia around "woke" and "DEI". It's quite embarrassing.
No fear at all, but if it has the sweaty baby stink, it doesnt get our money.EOS
@AVVGaming1it's pretty simple people use "woke" for views and money even that it's not a main reason some games/movies etc suck it's just an addition that is in good movies/games etc too
Have no fear. Games became pretty good from 1992 onward. That's decades of backlog for us to play :)
Best game of all time? For you?
@ no spoilers there don’t worry! Man! You gotta let me know you find it when you finish it!
@AVVGaming1 Will do but with how little time I have to game that's going to take awhile.
XLetalis made a video about Witcher 3 and how it came to be...just the original story would've been 3 times as massive as its already in the game...go watch it. :)
CDPR has gone woke and WILL go broke. I will NOT buy Witcher 4
V is only a woman now, sad :(. Equality is dead.
You are delusional if you believe that "go woke go broke" actually works

As already explained from ex developers at Rocksteady. SBI had nothing to to with the development or the writting.
It’s art. It starts getting worse if they have to make sure x box is ticked
witcher 3 and cyberpunk 2077 are two of my favorite games. i hope they dont fk this up...please....
@AVVGaming1Baldur's Gate 3
"Just consume product and wait for next product without question, because corporate said so..." geeze, no wonder everything is going down the shitter
@AVVGaming1 You spread false information just to get some clicks and views.
I haven't seen any announcements that CDPR is working with SBI. That would be the kiss of death for them (like we've seen with other companies recently). The only worry i have is the ESG/DEI stuff that's going on, but if they're smart they'll keep this stuff subtle.
I was expecting the usual slop of "WOKE RUIN VIDEOGAMES", but the video is pretty level-headed and balanced. Nice job
I do worry about that. Do you think they will do that? Make it a “build your own Witcher” game? Like Hogwarts legacy? I just love Geralt so much.
Well the worst they can do is give the witcher the TLOU 2 plot.
Don’t even get me started on that plot! I was going to do a video on that someday soon. It wasn’t just the political aspect of it, but also the pacing and direction.
I have zero expectations after the trailer and the absurdities contained in it.
Cdpr never fails to disappoint.
*No. God, please no. NOOOO!*
Im not holding my breath
I pre ordered cp2077 and then played for maybe a month ish before stopping and never playing again. Didn't even finish it. Maybe I should give it another go
With sweet baby or DEI connected to Black Rock, it's some people have concluded or theorised. There is some level of funding involved. when you include these ideas from DEI. Kind of like a corporate social credit system, so to speak, but I don't have full evidence of this. Just theory.
If the new Witcher has DEI or anything related to it I will not buy the game.
Well thats officially the Death Nail. RIP The Witcher 4. If SBI is involved Im not buying it No Way.
I really hope they just stick to being CDPR. Just to continue as they’ve been. They don’t need to make changes, their writing style has been amazing!
Are you exited for the Witcher 10? I’m sick of sequels.
We have a wallet. It can be open or closed, depend on Woke-Nonsense. Anything that in touch with the Creatures from Sweetbaby Inc. doesnt deserve any attention.
I think that’s the trick. We don’t need to buy until the big RUclipsrs have played it and given their opinion. Saves us the stress.
Well done, CDPR is done
I hope not but only time will tell
@AVVGaming1 hopefully
Second thing: They abandoned their engine and accepted Epicshit Engine, which means even worse optimalisation and forced woke rules they have to agree with
Third thing: Even when GOG is suppossed to be DRM free and less annoying platform, Cyberpunk wants some extra launcher that is starting from GOG, that doesn't make any sense, it's annoying and it just looks suspicious and I am afraid that they will abanadon DRM free model in future, that would be sad.
BTW, if you have GOG version of Witcher 3, I really recommend to backup offline installers of original game (not next gen) because you never know what bullshit they will make next week to hide original good and not politically correct version from you
What’s the word?
Bird is the word
Yea, today's AAA games worries me, which is why I play more retro and indie games instead...!
I like your unbiased tried approach but you know what’s going to happen
Haha I’ve tried it a few times now and people, in general, do not like it from I’m gathering. They want me to pick a side for sure, at least that’s the feeling I get. Neutrality is not appreciated nowadays lol
@AVVGaming1 I see you! 👀 😆 good luck!
Red Baron, he looks like Todd howard.
The red baron would be honoured by such a comparison lol Todd Howard looks like every NPC in starfield it’s almost scary. It’s like he has eyes on you at all times! lol
What are you talking about they did not hire sweet baby do actual research
I'll wait for dying light 3, days gone 2, DONT FUCK THEM UP.
@@unitedkingdomoffiveeyes9765 okay got a question for you; dying light 1 or 2 and why? Which was the best?
sweetbaby is a boogieman i only ever see on youtube in vids like this one, it literally means nothing to me. couldn't care less.
Yeah I agree. I just wanted to address it because I’ve made many positive videos on CDPR and seen so many people leave comments about sweet baby inc etc on all of them.
DEI Projekt Woke presents; The Witcher 3 ESG edition
lol don’t say it! I’m still hoping for the best!
I hope they avoid the ink from sweet baby
@AVVGaming1 gta 6 will go woke, skipping it for sure so at least my goty will definitely be kcd 2
The studio also recently unionized so expect less attention to extra work.
Oh no! That word is a nightmare here in England. Our train drivers unionised and we don’t have any trains that you can rely on anymore lol
If the witcher 4 is full of that woke crap. I will not buy it. Periode.
you will probable be forty of fifty year's old when it is around for purchase
Jesus, all gamers do nowadays is whimper and whine. I'm sure if Half-Life 2 was made today they would call it WOKE because Alyx was not scantily clad and was only a B-cup.
The whole DEI topic is huge nowadays. It’s crazy how it’s blown up and now there’s a list of “woke games” out there and it’s clearly not accurate. I think clearly some games have gone overboard but just like everything in life, it’ll sort itself out. This will be my last video on the topic for a while as I’ve covered it 3 times now and I feel that’s enough.
They’ve been woke since 2021. That’s why the Director of the Witcher 3 and other staff members left CDPR. The soul isn’t there anymore
before cp2077 i won't have doubted them but leading up to its release and launch they lost all my trust and it's not a company i care for anymore. they have gotten too big and certain things are now expected of them, which has and will affect their future games negatively. and getting involved with sbi is gonna backfire big time, that company have done nothing but ruin video games and helped produce flops.
I pray to god they are not involved, I don't hate DEI like he says in the vid, it's not what u do you do it.
And SBI are the bottom of the barrel
Just a few points:
- Ads with BDSM where only females dominate men
- The Mox, all female coloured hair gangstas which is the only gang which you are not allow to kill, they are all bossy and all NPC dialogues in the Club are feministic and anti-men (Evelyn main quest too)
- Lots of gay and trans content literally everywhere (NPCs, sex shops)
- white guys almost not existant (especially with blonde hair) except as villains or idiots (Hellmann, Fingers, Forest)
- everywhere female Boss leaders (Vodoo boys, Maiko, Rogue, Myers etc)
- countless side dialogues and quests where they spread the message
- narrative double standards for female and male villains (e.g. Songbird Kurt Hansen)
You can see it need details to explain, kinda hard for a yt comment. But i could write basically an essay about it. Yet it was acceptable so i still could enjoy the game but PL intensified the message spreading, CP 2 will be way worse im very sure.
People shouting DEI bad are outing themselves rather than making a cogent statement about the game in question. Sure, a game is terrible and made you frustrated, but taking out those frustrations on a black character rather than taking the time to explore your feelings is... yikes! lol
Cp2077 should have been a pc exclusive. Consoles are just to weak. On pc the game is fine plus the mods oh boy the mods are amazing.
@AVVGaming1 As I said! Cult like behaviour.
It feels like we are in an alien invasion movie.
You have been warned.
its joever
lol I don’t get it?
@DavidGilNavalón1975 tell me , what is the major difference from society thirty year's ago to were video game developer's , writer's , artist, and programmer's , to what the difference is these day's ,
i would say it is politics' getting shoved into video game's
( you tube would ghost my comment if i said something else )
@AVVGaming1 they were probable Hoping that people would be willing to forgive them much like what happened with No Man's Sky from Hello Game's
Just say WOKE means black and gay.
I don’t even like to use the word. The whole DEI thing just popped up one day and now it’s a hugely discussed topic.
Im not buying or playing the witcher 4.
@AVVGaming1 yeah, it just doesn't feel natural... and let's be honest, most of us just don't care about the whole genderwar, etc, and yet we're confronted with it all the time.. more and more, and now it follows us into our escapism
im Skipping TW4
Of course it's not true. Especially at 7:28 is totally made up.
@@MagdaBazant It has been so long I forgot about Missile. I believe that was in Sapkowski's book that came out in 1995 0r 1996.
Nice to see Wizard 3 company go woke, and soon broke. That game is overrated asf.
Modern games now are done
Wow are you serious?
I knew CDPR was in a bad position when they decided to open studios in America but I never thought they would go the SBI way.
Well, farewell CDPR. I'm not giving money to a racist firme like SBI...
I saw an interview with the person CDPR hired and it was so rough to listen to. I’m not saying the whole company or anything but some people are actually racist whilst trying to save the world from racism! It’s honestly mental!
Witcher 4 is cooked.
I hope not but no matter what Witcher 3 will always be the same.
Won't be playing anything SBI touch!
Everything they touch turns to shit!
I think writers should be given the freedom to write whatever they like without being forced to do certain things. It’s art.
@AVVGaming1 true but as you said in your video it has to gel with the story and the writing has to be good, a group of random mentally ill people who don't play games won't write a good story and that's what happened with DA:TV
Another company I can't wait to see fail 😂
CDPR is dead for me.
DEI ruins any PC Games no matter what the issue is DEI is Trash.
