6 Ways To Make Money Fast Without Cheats | The Sims 4 Guide

1. Farming Dragon Fruit: Acquire dragon fruit by opening rare seed packets at level 10 gardening or grafting a strawberry and snapdragon plant. You can also take them from planters at a Romance Festival [City Living Expansion Required], or via the potion ingredients shop in Caster's Alley [Realm of Magic Game Pack Required]. Once you have one, plant it and sell the fruit for thousands of simoleons.
2. Get To Work Expansion Pack Required. Upgrade the SimRay (invention from the Science career) to be able to transform objects. Transform 375 simoleon showers to get items worth much more, and sell in build mode.
3. Painting Masterpieces. Grab an easel and paint your way to riches!
4. Video Game Tournaments. Buy a video game station and as your skill levels higher you can enter tournaments, which can be quite lucrative.
5. Duplicating Items. Requires Realm Of Magic Game Pack for Copypasto spell method, or Get To Work Expansion Pack for the cloning machine method. Find an item worth a decent amount of simoleons, copy it repeatedly and sell it.
6. Run A Retail Business: Get To Work Expansion Pack required. Simply run a business and sell expensive items with a high mark up. The money will roll in.

Quick tip from your favorite boy: Open a painters club. All the people will come over and paint for you, and you can sell all of it. They sometimes leave a painting half-done, then you have to scrap it, but still very very effective.

@@blindedsun172 You need the Get Together expansion pack. Then you can create a club where the meeting is at your place and the only activity is painting. Just make sure to have plenty of easels set up for them to use. Then start a meeting and folks will show up and start painting. You can sell their work for your own gain.
Many people say that making money too quickly is boring, but I like doing it because then I don’t have to work as much and I can focus on getting a family, going to festivals and events, and branching out with my generations to be able to explore interesting worlds and learn new skills. It’s more fun without cheats, because you still have to be try to stay stable and whenever you want you want you can scrap your money-making method for your next generation and start fresh.
The absolute fastest way to make money in the entire game is nectar. I can even break this down into a few basic steps. Elaborate if you need.
1. You can build a small home with the bare necessities, add a basement with enough room for for a nectar maker and 12-21 nectar storage racks.
2. Select the nectar maker aspiration and rank up your skills. Take a brisk shower to energize your sim so they work slightly faster and produce higher quality nectar. I suggest pausing the game and filling up your sims queue with “make nectar” (you can get ingredients from the nectar maker itself) and while that sim is on auto pilot working on your other sim. I suggest using your other sims to rank up their gardening skill and growing mostly grapes and grow fruit to be used as fertilizer. the nectar maker should be the one harvesting grapes.
3. Stow your bottles of nectar in the racks until they are finely aged. Once they are finely aged, collect your bottles and sell them from your inventory. I ranked up a married couple in the nectar creator simultaneously and filled 42 racks of wine and made more than $1 Million. I made way more money than I expected.
THINGS TO REMEMBER. Clean your nectar maker every 5 batches and shower when cleaning the nectar maker, nectar ages faster in a basement, grape nectar is easy and it is worth more than all others on average. I have sold many bottles for $16000+ each.
You can also save up all of your bottles and open a retail store and mark up each bottle to be even more expensive and have a bit of fun game play rather then selling from inventory.

I had a Sim who was a runaway teen witch. She loved gardening.
Money making? Made the most expensive bouquet I could of the best quality, scented it with bluebells, added a vase and "copypasto!"
Since she found snapdragons at the beginning of the game, this provided enriching gameplay to build up both her gardening and spellcaster skills and watching her go from sleeping on park benches to living in a mansion with the boo of her dreams was really satisfying and rewarding.
My runaway challenge was to go from rags to riches using NO cheats.

I grafted the U.F.O. plant with the snapdragon bushes. U.F.O. fruits sell for even more simoleons!

What other plant did you graph with it?
You can sometimes find random space fruits at the city living festival planters. If you want to cheat you can uproot the boring plants and a new one randomly spawns. Do that until you get the one you want then cheat it to be in season and in bloom. Then harvest.

Also the cottage living expansion pack offers dragonfruit by placing a grocery order! & if you have the Get Famous expansion pack and you’re a high level celebrity then every painting or book you make will give you alot more simoleions
And if you have a kleptomaniac sim, you can make a business out of selling stolen merchandise.
Instead of using copy pasto on books, you can use it on a money tree seedling, and if you want more money fast without copy pasto, when you reach lvl 10 painting, i suggest you buy the digital sketchpad, and upgrade it so you paint faster, and pause the game the stack the action to paint your chosen painting ( I've always had luck with abstract with some selling for around 11-14k with the marketable perk) and its super fast. Also if you have get famous, if you become a 3 star celebrity you can get the established name celebrity perk, which will make crafted items sell for more, but it only works if you click on said item in the world, and not directly from the inventory. For example(this is true btw), i painted 140 Abstract paintings, and if i sold them all straight from my inventory i would have gotten roughly 508k, but since i took them all out and sold them one by one (which if done smartly doesnt take too long) they sold for 755k.
The decor box in seasons is really good too! There is no limit in the decortion you can get from it!
Your sim will make tons of money in no time
If you have the seasons expansion pack you can get the money tree and graft it onto other trees
Makin magic really just breaks the game.
Once you have access to all spells and potions (which doesn't take long), your sim:
Is effectivly immortal
Doesn't age
Can kill any other sim at will
Can enslave any other sim at will
Can raise the dead at will
Can control other sims moods at will.
Can make a clone of themselves.
Can instantly max out social or romance stats of any other sim (with either themselves OR ANOTHER SIM)
Can duplicate any item,
Can steal just about any item
Never has to worry about needs
And it's almost impossible to drop out of a positive moodlet if you don't want to...
The God pack. Makin Magic is basically the "Turn my sim into a God" expansion.
I think you mean Realm of Magic. Makin Magic was the first Sims game.
Dragon fruit can be fished out of the lake in magnolia promenade, it’s a lot easier than grafting… requires get to work.

I build a greenhouse abd I consider myself an Escobar of Sims 4.
With the Seasons Expansion pack, you can plant a money tree. You can't harvest the fruits to plant them once you have the tree, you can only sell them, but if you put the tree with the fruits on it into your household inventory, the fruits will be placed in there too, so you can plant even more money trees and make thousands of Simoleons every day (and if the tree has a higher quality, you earn even more money, I made 11,000 Simoleons with one tree only every day)
Winterfest is also pretty useful, since you can open presents and if you're lucky, there is a super expensive stove or something like that in there.
And does anyone know if you can actually win the lottery? You can purchase the tickets for 100 Simoleons, but I've never won and don't know if it's actually possible

You can win the lottery, although we didn’t win a million. I can’t remember exactly how much it was, but I know it wasn’t that much.
3:16 3000 Simoleons? I have good news then, because the highest painting value of a masterpiece my Sim made was around 7500. And that was base value - before I put it up for sale in a yard sale with the 300% boost.
if you use the digital tablet you can paint a lot faster than just the easel and make more £

hot tip! if you have get to work just do a small amount of fishing on the mossy dock area in magnolia promenade. I had my sim fish there ONCE at level one and got a dragonfruit and cowplant berry.
The other day, i was doing a rags to riches challenge, starting with zero money, i wen to fish (something i need to do more) and i got very lucky i guess cause i caught a sketch pad... very easy money that literally spoiled the challenge xD
Ahahaha I low key love finding functional electronics while fishing :p. But that's an awesome start to the challenge! Defs not an easy challenge to complete.

My speedrun for a ton of money: prepare a party size portion of food, sell off everything except essentials ie, bed toilet food source source of fun etc. then have the lot traits of natural light and study spot, then just paint, hungry? You have 8 leftovers in the fridge saving time, take small breaks to sleep shower etc. once you reach level 10 you should have chose the perfectionist trait earlier, and painter aspiration, now you make more masterpieces and have satisfaction points, buy traits that increase your quality and money earned from paintings (forgot which) now for a scummy thing, for your final trait have the romantic trait, now find a very rich sim like Cassandra goth, become lover and at a high love, now convince her to leave her spouse then go ahead and move in to her mansion, combine all your simoleons, bulldoze the mansion, split from household and leave, repeat for the Landgraab family and others if there are any, now you should have a good quantity of cash, you can then get the robotics job from discover university, or the style influencer or coding job, these make a ton of money, work from
Home and finish up quick, go paint a masterpiece then do whatever (hope this works well for everyone, although it is a bit grindy)

You could also get your writing skill to level 5 I believe it is and sell to publishers, you’ll get more money but I’m not sure how much ( from a estimation probably 100-700$ maybe 1,000 depending on how good the book is )

I like to take this one step further and be a freelance writer. Once you write the book for the assigned gig you make a copy, get the copy approved for the gig then publish the original. Double pay out for the same book.

I always just abused Woodworking, but it takes too long to get to level 10 and you can only make ~10 or so bahtubs a day if you commit one sim to it. Going to try the Dragonfruits next since my son is already a pretty decent gardener. Thanks!

Can't remember if it is in base game, but the ability to take a cutting of the money tree and grafting it to another plant. Makes said plant to make unlimited money seeds. 1500 a seed or plant for more trees
The dragon fruit trick makes me earn 75k simoleons per super sell. Currently my most reliable way of gaining money while I master all skills (I made my character an immortal master spellcaster, so I dont rly have to worry about time.)
The best way to make money off painting is by buying a tablet and doing your "painting" on the tablet. You can produce 7 large paintings in about 2 hours, which usually sell for about $15,000 or so in total if your painting skill is maxed. You can easily make over $100,000 a day using the tablet.

Spellcasters. Grow just one dragon fruit plant. Copy-paste it as many times as you want. How long will it take to get millions? Not long. Perfect case scenario if the plant is excellent/perfect etc. Copy-pasted plants will be the same quality. So, basically, grow one plant make 50 of them, sell a few times and move the plants to the house inventory. I personally would not know what to do with more than 1mln simoleons.
Barstools are better than showers when using the simray to make cash 30 dollar barstool 300 dollar showe do the math and for some reason the folding chairs that are 40 and take up two spaces have a better turnover as far as becoming more valuable items
Bigger items are usually more expensive.
If you have island living pack rummage for seashells. You can make thousands of dollars quickly with no skills required

A fast way to get money without a cheat code so you can still earn your points.
Ok you create your sim and buy a empty lot doesn’t matter which one. Then you go to your gallery and one by one you add a sim to your household as many as you can your household amount will go up each time you add a sim.
Now you go to manage household and delete them, everyone but yourself.
And then you repeat this over and over until you get tired lol

I think this one is pretty good but I’m not sure if it’s cheating: Rummaging for decorations multiple times and selling them. From Seasons Expansion, whenever I do this I feel like I’m cheating, do u think its cheating?

Buy a money tree in the reward store. Plant it and grow it
Get level 3 gardening to graft . Now take a cutting of the money tree and put it on something that takes no time to grow like garlic or roses. Now every time the rose grows it gives you roses and a money fruit seed. Now make a money garden and be a billionaire. (Tip: the better quality the money tree is the more it's worth when you sell it's leaves
I personally buy the sketchpad then do its upgrade and go to town painting. I can do seven or eight paintings on the sketchpad quickly then turn around and sell them. Just my method but very similar to the painting method mentioned.
Not sure if it is base game or part of Seasons but there are two items you miss that are useful on their own and even more useful with cloning and/or the transformation ray... The decorations box can give you an infinite number of decretive items, three at a time, so long as there is space around it. Even more useful, however... is the large pile of presents. So long as you keep adding presents - which costs nothing but an action on your to do chain - then you can open and sneak presents year round, a few times a day. And if the pile ever gets empty, just spam adding presents.
Painting can help quite well too
Especially grinding abstract pictures
buy a vet clinic, then u can open it from home without even having to go there if u hired vet assistants and then u can just keep playing while they are working and get that money. one time i accidentally let the vet open for 3 days in a row and i made like 20k or more

If you get the attic stack decoration box and just rummage for seasonal decorations you can sell all those decorations and the attic steps decoration box is only 100 simoleons

My favourite thing to do to rake in the cash is to have them master any musical skill and then have them play in public. If your sim masters that respective skill, then each tip will be $20.
Gardening is my number 1 place personally. I can make ONE harvest of my garden and get 20k EASILY.
There's another way just flirt with a guy in a big house then marry him/her and move in there and start to write books and sell them and after a while I will get huge paychecks for your books

If you have the decorations box for 100$ you can rummage trough decorations forever it will drop a lot of random season objects then you can sell it or transform all of them with Simray and then sell them to get even more money
(i once got the computer glasses from engineer career i also transformed two objects into jeweled perereca you can sell most of them for 10k)
Does anyone know what's the deal with all those seasonal seed packs appearing in household inventory? I noticed that they appear if a household member has gardening skills. Also, the number of packs seem to depend on the size of the garden (unless I'm mistaken). One pack is 100 semolions. Dozens appear every day. I am not sure why anyone would want to work.
The fabulously wealthy aspiration may not make you rich but once you've made 200k it'll keep you rich.

You can also be a kleptomaniac you can steal from museums but from my experience if your sim loves art as a trait then they cant steal from a museum. But you can also steal from houses, bars, gyms, etc…
Oh also does anyone know how to either make satisfactory points quickly or at least how to get your sims to stop being so tried all the time?
One of the really easy ways to get satisfaction point if you have the pets expansion is having a dog with a high relationship. You’ll frequently get the option to “feel the love for 250 satisfaction each time. It’s basically snuggling your dog. It’s worth like 100 more satisfaction points than having a baby! Very disproportionate, but useful.
The best money method hands down is moving your wanted sim to an empty lot and mark it as unplayed. Placing the best bed in each available spot. Millionaire in under ten minutes. You can also give yourself free houses with this method. It's more of a feature then a glitch🤣🤷♀️

For all of these methods a Sims needs a high level of a certain skill which takes days to get there. So nothing of this is fast. Is there no way to make at least 2000§ a day right from the start?
If you have tiny living, use the microhome to get your sims to learn quicker.

Everyone giving their own ideas but they all need different expansion packs.
Give base game ideas only please people.
Make an household full of painters and at least two writers. Masterwork paintings can keep your sims inspired when used as decoration, sell the other paintings. Writing books is another good source of money and some of the career reward items give some good bonuses or are at least free and high quality.
You can also make a public plot with only high quality items and decorations and use it as your home, while your "real" home is a cheap empty plot of land (meaning very low taxes).
@@LutraLovegood Thanks for your help. I have previously used painters as they're kind of the go-to for easy money, but recently I tried a huge Dragonfruit crop, which nets me 30k+ each harvest.
Do the dragonfruit one. I’m pretty sure that is base game and it take a bit of time to get started but is ultimately very effective. Then future household can come steal some of the dragonfruit from the first one to start their own.
Also, start by planting some common herbs that grow quickly so you can evolve them to magnificent or perfect quality while your sims gains gardening skill. It takes some time to graft the strawberry and snapdragon for your first dragonfruit, then plant it to grow a dragonfruit plant. Once you have a dragonfruit plant take cuttings and graft them onto all your perfect herbs. They’ll grow quickly and already be perfect quality.

Then you need to transfer the Person back to the current house and Delete and then you need to do the Progress over again

one fast trick its go transfer. creativ a family whit 7 sims den target the diferent solo sim you want get money and den transfer all money.when you done you can delete the family of 7 sims . its not Cheat
