Hmm, one point on the checklist... for spellcaster you mention that there's nothing specifically for skill gains with them but they DO have a Potion of the Nimble Mind which gives a +2 confident moodlet and can be effective at the same time as Snaggle Fluster. Heh, according to your own caster guide it's a 50% gain, so nothing to sneeze at. Great to have a utility caster around when raising angsty vampire teen supersim younglings, just lock one in the basement cell making potions/copypastoing that and snaggle fluster.
Ack. sorry, hadn't finished reading through and have one more slight suggestion. Regarding lot traits, if you're going celeb there's zero reason to not go with a celebrity lot trait. +3 happy moodlet all the time as long as there's a 4-star celeb in residence, which EVERYONE gets even if they're at work (as long as you're playing the lot, not tormenting Bob Pancakes). Mild side effects may include random sims hanging out in ugly tourist outfits, but that's a celeb life for ya.
@@jekebe4858 thanks for helping to make it a little better. I'll get these edits in tomorrow! I've definitely failed to look at potions when considering caster skill buffs bleh. And yeah not so small, it's as strong as rank 1 child of the moon I think.
@@CarlsSimGuides Your site has been my go-to for all things simfo-related for a long time now, so I'm happy I could help out. The videos are a much more recent discovery but I've been enjoying them too. Keep up the good work! (at least until you get sick of the sims anyway. Haha.)
@@CarlsSimGuides I have had much fun following your supersim. Thanks. Now i am trying to play a meen vampyer sim but it seems impossible to get the strong values up in red....and the game is also to much sukker and creme for mee, when my sim is trying to insult other sims and the only get angry for 2 sek..He is stealing there blood but i dosent count as bad very much ect. I would be very happy to here your oppinion about that matter.
The worst sim one would be so amazing. I loved watching the super sim. I recently watched the making sims laugh to death that Carl did. It was hilarious!!!!
I made a Super Sim once. Got all skills maxed, and all the hidden traits/aspirations possible. I actually did it because I was getting bored with the Sims 4 and wanted a challenge, and it actually ended up getting me back into the game. It’s fun at first but gets boring at the end, especially when you take the needs reward traits (you’re right, it totally breaks the game). I’ve gotten to a point where I’ve done literally everything with my sim and don’t even know what to make her do anymore. And she doesn’t even eat, sleep or poop anymore, so there’s not even a point in making her do daily tasks. 😂 The challenge was fun the first time, but I don’t really plan to do it that extreme again. Another thing you didn’t mention... Playing as a Super Sim gets really annoying at high levels when socializing because they end up with sooo many options in the social menu. It’s quite overwhelming having to scroll through dozens of pie menus. 😂
I agree with you bluecannibaleyes, i went the scientist way, then the magic way, and finally on my third run, i did it with one dude and 4 or 5 dogs, because once you max up your companionship with your dog, you get 250 every pet for every dogs, giving you all traits absolutely fast. And on each runs, i ended up not finishing the collection quest because i became bored, there was nothing to do, money was printed with duplication spell/cloning machine, my sim had no need at all, and it became just a tedious task to do the collections as it became a slot machine based on luck to get the missing collection item you needed with no organic play. and i am glad those traits are optional, maybe someday i will play the game again without touching them.
I never much saw the point of playing with toddlers or kids (or even teens) but this series has taught me the value of doing so. I started a new legacy family of 8 Sims, the goal being to have all Super Sim kids. I’m playing them in a tiny house, too. The oldest two have aged up to teens and holy sh** the skill gains are unreal. I’m having a ton of fun. Thanks so much, Carl!
Wow, another person saying this. Thank you for letting me know! It's absolutely amazing to hear and it really touches me if I can help people enjoy things.
I recently started a "Super Sim Challenge" (sort of) on my Twitch channel. Basically want my Sim to max all skills, finish all aspirations, get all reward traits. (Those are the main goals, at least.) I have a feeling this guide is going to be really helpful.
Max all skills = definitely go for that snaggle if you want to go fast. I need to investigate but think it is increasing things more than we thought when stacked with the others. It's also equally easy when compared to top notch and childhood, you can just get unlucky sometimes. Good luck with your stream, Jay.
@@CarlsSimGuides Thanks! When I last left off, I had just gotten my Sim past the toddler stage and earned Top Notch Toddler. Childhood is going to be a different beast, lol.
@@CarlsSimGuides yeah, the real challenge with the Super Sim challenge rn is not the skill gain, but the Aspiration List. I personally play a Super Sims challenge right now with my triplet sims. It has been fun chasing after all the collections and careers as well lol. Get Famous has a reward that let your sims' career tracks stop decaying, so being at the top of every single career at the same time is now possible! So a truly Super Sim is now: + Max all skills (easy) + Have all traits (a bit less easy, and game play breaking when all your needs are frozen). + Max all Aspiration: the true back bone of this challenge. Additionally: Max Career: Get Famous (which comes along with the Max Aspirations) allows you to have the opportunity to Max all Careers as well. This is not really difficult since with all the club + Get Famous + Responsible trait + Connection. You can max each career in a week. Max Collection: another way to spice up your already broken gameplay lol. Occult max: choose either Vampire or Spellcaster. Or once at a time. (Which also goes nicely with the Max Aspiration Challenge). ... I seriously don't know what next to do except finishing the Family Aspiration now. Have all the collections, all the rewards, all career maxed, Family is truly the last thing to finish lol! Maybe I should kill time and have all the degrees as well lol! Or get into all the Business perks and Dine Out (which is so broken amd glitchy at this point 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️)
The Wishing Well from Romantic Garden is pretty good for gaining instant maxed skills. There is still the chance for the failure of the wish altogether or just getting varying general skill boosts from minor to major.
@@gumballz.9259 yeah i did this in my game and the hardest part was the childhood/teen stage cause it was long and yeah the family aspiration took the longest (except the broken vampire one lol no way im waiting 20 sim days) but it was a fun just easy. getting all the degrees seems impossible lol too much time
I really started using these tips for my sims and now that they're YA's, I can see how this has totally helped with skill gain! Also, LOVE the editing in this video! Well done across the board!
That's fantastic to hear, thanks. I was hoping I didn't go overboard, no idea how people will react. I obviously learned a lot about many styles of transitions and made my best ever comparison shot for the ending.
You are simply the best at Sims Guides. I appreciate your efforts though I comment harshly at times. I hope that you will keep playing; I worry that these guides would just stop each time you sound so frustrated about the game. 😅
Nah, I'm on the train that hopes for improvements to this one or a return to form in Sims 5. I'm definitely aboard, even if it frustrates me the decisions that have been made.
@@CarlsSimGuides ❤️ I have followed you as long as you have been doing this. You are the god of all things Sims IMO. Thank u so much and U are so appreciated ❤️
@@CarlsSimGuides Awh, you should heart the commenter above me. That is just so sweet. Wholesome to have a supporter like that. I just found you, but absolutely great work I have to say. =)
I feel like ive been using your guides as long as ive been playing sims cant say for sure but atleast sinse sims 3 thanks so much for the time you put into them
pitching in with a: "hell yes it's worth the time". these vids are incredibly informative and entertaining! also it's really good to have someone on youtube who's a 'sims expert', feels like you're on par with the guru's at ea for me! thanks for making your content, carl!
I think I may just do this one. I have been working on using a basic sim to get as much done with one sim as I can. I think I may start from conception, though, just to see where it takes me. A reconfiguration of a life, which is what I want to play The Sims for. I feel inspired to do that.
It really does give you a bit more attachment to them to build them up from child to teen. I didn't mention it in the video but it's great strategically to have the parent already level 5-7 parenthood when you start. If you have that pack.
If you start from baby, your Sim can easily level Parenting up to at least Level 5 simply by feeding and doing all the actions available for baby for 3 whole days.
Don't forget to get Savant from all of the satisfaction points you get as completing the kid aspirations! After you get that, you probably will still have some points left over, too. Spend as you please!
When you started making your super sim I got inspired to make my own. She's a young adult now, learns skills almost instantly and I need to decide to make her a vampire or a witch. Haven't gone to university yet, that's the next step. Watching the skill competition at the end really puts this in perspective, when you make a super sim you really break the game LOL. Good work Carl!
Mine has a super human sim and a super vampire. I haven't made a super wizard because I don't have that expansion.....I don't know if I ever will but maybe I might get it. I just think it makes the game a little more diverse.
Holy Moly! The end was so satisfying to watch. It's incredible how quick it is with all those boosts. I love your videos, I usually lurk in the shadows and never write a comment. But this time I just had to tell you, that this is impressive. It even made me play a little more with my sims, than just building. I had no idea how good these bossts are, since for me all this skill building etc. is the most boring thing ever, so I never cared about it. but now.... well... iI will scrool through the list and will definitely try it out.
Hey, thanks a lot for taking the time to write me. I had a lot of fun with the series and thankfully learned about masks to help me line up that 'race'. it had to take place at different times or else Father Winter would've had the tiny living lot bonus :)
Thank you Carl. I've always appreciated the time and work you put into your guides as they are the most detailed. I have watched other super sim series but yours has inspired me to start my own. I know it will be the best super sim I can make because I get all your help will it. :)
I love it when my content inspires people to start playing and enjoying it. Helping people get enjoyment out of TS4 is right now my main mission. Even if at times it's to crack jokes at poor design choices, I ultimately hope people get more enjoyable play out of the stuff I make. Thank you, Taby.
The effort put into this video really really shows. I'm all the more impressed with you and your team, Carl. I'm so happy to be able to get to know my favourite and preferred Sims guide website's creator like this. Makes the world feel smaller and more connected
I know this video was very time intensive, but I'm so grateful for it. I've watched it at least three times now and it's jam packed with compact. Before you did this series, I was accidentally making some super sisters just because I was trying to give them the best childhood. With this guide I can make them SUPER SISTERS!
Carl, would you consider starting a *Sims 3* Guide series? I know you have some guides in written form, but I'd love to watch some videos explaining some of its most complex mechanics, like transfiguration (World Adventures), collecting and cutting gems, trait chips, as well as guides for the skill challenges and the active careers. Heck, even a guide for the World Adventures' tombs and one that explains in detail how to create our own would be great.
I'm currently making a Super Sim in Sims 4 and you are right. It's totally worth doing it at least once. I'm having so much fun with it. I only wish I had tried it sooner. But I didn't have as much Sims knowledge, back then. Would totally recommend.
If you ever make a video about single parent raising kid(s) in a video, you can point out that Patchy can assist with blocks and dollhouse with toddlers. Patchy is seriously the best little helper around in a home.
Carl, this is absolutely your best video. I think I've seen them all. You say the game is broken and I understand that, but it's still no walk in the park to make a specialty Sim and there's still enough randomness and wonder along the way that I enjoy the challenge immensely. In short, you make me think of new ways to play the game and I love that! Thank you for all you do. I've loved your guide for years and was so happy to see it expand to RUclips. I know you're not as popular as some sims YTers, but you're just as good, for sure.
I can't play without a goal. This video being the most time I've ever taken, I am deeply appreciative to hear feedback that it is my best. Thank you so much. I'm hoping it does well in views over the next couple weeks, because I'd rather put out a few quality pieces than several mediocre ones.
What a man has Coby grown into! That series was a lot of fun. Your guides are very informative, but gameplay videos are just on another level of entertainment. Thank you for everything you are doing Carl!
You are asking if these videos are worth it. The answer is DEFINITELY YES! You are the only person I watch "let's plays" from for 2 reasons: 1. They are educational and somewhat funny. 2. You have a very nice voice (it's sad to say but yes that does matter a lot). I also visit your website frequently because of everything you have documented there. Thank you again for all your hard work!
I love these types of videos ! There so helpful and fun. I personally think that they're well worth your time and efforts to create them. They help me have a more fun game! Thanks !
I've used your guides since I started playing and can't imagine not having them. I love the super SIM info and can't wait for the written guide. Thank you for the time and effort you put in (and the great commentary ;).
I really appreciate all the work and effort you put into your videos. I'm in the process of creating a sims challenge and I'm taking all these notes and making spreadsheets and all that. I'm trying to delve into all the packs to make sure I account for things that might make the challenge less challenging. It is exhausting and I keep stopping. LOL Again, Kudos to you for all of your time and efforts.
No pressure but YES IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY please continue making videos. Frankly I don't care what you even do in them, I just need Cheeky Carl in my RUclips life.
Hah. I meant that I don't know if I should really apply myself as much as I did here if it's going to tie me up all week, vs making a couple videos that are slightly less quality instead. But pushing the boundaries of quality (for me) is something I need to do anyway because it makes it easier to make the small ones look good when I know what I'm doing. Lot to this!
Carl, your guides are a go-to for me and I've been playing since the very first Sims game. Your videos are also super helpful. I've had "Get Together" forever, but only just started using clubs after I saw how powerful they are when you create your own, which I learned from your video. I appreciate all the hard work you've put into these guides and videos.
I started doing this, and when I was getting handiness skill for my teen vampire Sim he got to level 8 handiness in a little over one minute (I had the clubs buff, toddler buff, all of the child buffs, the lot trait buffs).
Thanks for making/posting these videos. I've been playing Sims since the original and despite my complaints about Sims 4 it feels like there's always something new to learn about the game, and these videos help immensely. I usually have your videos playing while I'm playing the game!
I have a super sim, (toddler, child and scouting in a micro home) she went from no painting skill to max in just 6 large classic paintings! She did gain other skills but chose to reference painting as it's easier to quantify.
Would love to see an updated version of this with tips added for infants and teens now that High School Years and Growing Together (and Werewolves) are out!
Have you considered doing an updated version of this challenge? I love listening to this series as background noise, and I seem to learn more each time I listen to it 😊
Amazing! Thank you so very much. I look forward to making a super sim Barbie, and you've given me all the tools and guidance to get started. Thank you very much! :D All the work you put in these videos is really worth it. I'm watching this last video to chill from a busy day with travelling. I'm all relaxed now. Your series has been one of my two favourites the past weeks. Thank you for all the hard work you put in.
This is so wild! I love videos like these where you just take what the game gave you and push it to the max. Even if you don't play that way normally it's really cool to see the upper limits of everything that the game offers!
I started a mini Super Sim challenge (focusing more on the skills, careers and aspirations I don’t usually do) and it’s been so fun! I can confirm that the tiny house and studious lot traits are a huuuuge boost. Didn’t know about the massive clubs boost, thanks! Great video!
Your Super Sim lets play was so good! Your commentary was great, you should do more things like that, like other challenges? You mentioned they're a lot of work, but they're so good! You're also (obviously) so knowledgeable about the games that I always learn something new (or am reminded of something I read ages ago on your website but have since forgotten).
Fantastic video! Note: I always click like before I watch the video, I have no doubt that I’ll learn something new every single time! I’m looking forward to the print guide, my recall for all of the video details isn’t great. Keep up the great work! 👍🏻
Don’t know about anyone else but i think these videos are awesome!! I used to read the stuff on your website and that was great but seeing it in action is even better 👌🏼
I just got back into the Sims a week ago. The last time I played was Sims 3 several years ago and followed your site back then. Actually, I was following you back when I was playing Sims 2 also. Such memories of 2 and 3. I am so glad you are making these videos as I am having this love/hate relationship with Sims 4.
A lot of people think they followed me with Sims 2, but I didn't ever cover it. It's just eh, the 10 years goes by and it's harder to place the when and where. but yeah I had my 10 year anniversary for the founding of Sims 3 site in July of 2019 :) Thanks for being with me all these years!
@@CarlsSimGuides HAH Could have sworn I was following you during Sims 2. I really do like your guides though. Never knew you had a YT channel until I restarted playing. Good job! I can only imagine how much work they are but remember this...they will be here for future generations that grow up enough to start playing. Kind of creepy this is like real life Sims. I can see you now in your bedroom on a pc leveling your writing skill to max.
Thank you for all your videos I play almost daily but there is a lot I haven’t been able to discover on my own; your videos help make gameplay more fun. Thank you again for all your hard work.
I'm getting ready to buy sims 4 and I've never gamed. It videos like this let me know you can get a lot of satisfaction from spending the time and effort it takes to get good at it. I'm beginning to see why it is so wildly popular.
I decided aspiration rewards were too over powered, yet still complete most of the aspirations. Thanks for all the math at the end, this is exactly what i wanted and not to watch the LP version. Carl knows his audience so well thank you!
I've just picked up my SuperSim challenge after getting bored of it a year or two ago for the lack of needs reason that you mentioned. I am now enjoying trying to multitask all the new skills from the last few packs. This is really useful and very entertaining! Thanks.
Thank you very much for all the time and effort you put into this series. Also I appreciate you listening to your fans input on this challenge as well. I have used your guides for years and it so wonderful to see you making let's plays. I hope you continue to do them because I truly enjoy your humor and thoughts. Hope you do a let's play soon. Hey, are you going to do one more with Koby to complete his story?
I can see why this was fun. It was sort of a challenge, like having 8 sims in a one bedroom house with no toilet. But I found the same thing about game-play via another route: cheat skills. Having played since the first game came out, I got bored with the rags to riches and started off some sims as adults with moderate skills. The result is the same. There is no there there. I thought I could concentrate on other things and found there really weren't any. And thank you so much for your time doing these and the guides. I have used them for years, especially your fertilizer analysis. Brilliant.
I agree with you 100% my supersims with all needs traits have been sitting unplayed for a while, thanks for all of the guides, you have helped me tremendously!
I LOVE your Videos. Not only do i learn a few things about the sims but also you do it quite entertaining. This last one was masterfully executed ! but i missed you :) i knew you were working hard for us and i really appreaciate it. But i missed you
i’ve been playing the sims a TON lately and creating a super sim myself !! this guide will definitely help in me further gaining her skills and finding more boosts to skill gaining !! 10/10 video
Happy to finally see the culmination of Koby's journey! I would see you like to attempt some sort of challenge with him. Though it may be a """challenge"""" now that he's a super sim. All aspirations, all skills? 100 baby challenge ;) ? No matter what, I'm excited to see what will happen next.
I love this guide - watch every now and then when it pops up in my recommended. That bit at the end is astonishing. In a matter of Sim minutes he has maxed an entire skill and is on level 6 of another one! It’s definitely something to consider for legacy heirs or 100 Baby matriarchs (I really only play challenges now as TS4 is super boring). Making them into a super Sim, even if I can’t pick their traits and aspirations, would be a fun way to increase their utility as the next heir to the throne.
I tried doing my own supper sim play through while watching your series but I definitely kept forgetting things. My sim had twins as well so I am raising 2 super Sims at once. I have only just started child phase so hopefully I can get better managing whims. So far, 2 top notch toddlers!
Although I started my super sim in adulthood, which means it's not *technically* a 100% super sim, it's been so much fun to try and make one! I've been someone who was mostly bored by the sims 4, and this super sim challenge finally made me motivated to actually play the game. And it also will let me discover features or gameplay that I might have not seen if it weren't for this challenge.
I created a super sim after watching your 2 episodes for your let's play. I honestly got bored once I finished 10 aspirations. But getting her to that level was the most fun I had playing Sims, so I don't regret it.
Thank you Carl for this very in depth guide, I've been following you in some form or another for a long time and these videos, this one especially, are a wonderful addition to your legacy of helping people get the most out of their Sims games. After every new pack is released, your site is the first thing I check. I admire your work ethic and I hope there will be much more guides, on the site and on video, to look forward to. Keep up the fantastic work.
ALTHOUGH A LOT OF WORK...I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS SERIES...IT HAS REKINDLED THE JOY THAT I HAD LOST WITH THE LACK LUSTER PACKS .. THANKS AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!👍👏👏👏
I love your videos. Your commentary is just as clear as the text-based tutorials you make [which I have used for about as long as I can remember haha] and I really enjoy watching
I dont play the sims at all anymore but I love your guides, it makes me nostalgic to when I first found your site and started using your ts3 guides like 8 years ago.
I've really been enjoying your super sim series and decided to give it a go myself to see how super I can make my Sim before I get bored. This condensed version of the series is going to be really handy for checking I'm doing all the best things. Thank you!
I've been using your guides for years for everything from Animal Crossing to Zelda! So happy to have just discovered your RUclips videos as well. Thanks for everything! You have a new loyal subscriber!!
I really enjoyed this guide! I'm looking forward to going through the written version so that I can make my own super sim! I keep meaning to go through all of the content The Sims 4 has to offer because I have skipped so much of it despite having all of the packs. This is the perfect excuse to finally jump into it all!
Thank you so much for the many, many hours you put into making this video. I really appreciate it. I'm writing down your suggestions. I'm in awe of the amount of research. I'm making a super Sim that is a toddler right now. Thumbs way up!
Your guides are so valuable and appreciated, your'e a staple in the community! I always bypass the big sites like IGN etc etc and make sure to look for "Carl's" when I'm googling some random ingame topic for help.
This is always something that I’ve tried to do in my sims games (og, 2, 3) at least once, it’s really interesting to see what stacks, what’s less than useful etc. I’ve always looked to your guides when I’ve forgotten something so I’m happy to see you’re making videos and would love to see more from you!
You know when I start playing the sims 4 the first thing that I did was create the perfect sim and this guide show all the things that I have learned and is wholesome
I made a super sim and I knew at max speed they could max they could max the first ~6 levels faster than the new level animation, but seeing the comparison was eye-opening how much faster super sims actually are. Also it was really fun to see your approach
i wish i had seen this before attempting to max all skills and do all the achievements. it looks so much fun I'm for sure gonna try it. thanks for all this experimenting !!
Great summary, looking forward to the file and thanks again for all your time and investment in doing these for us. NB: Not sure of the actual percentage that it would add to the learning speed, but I find that buying and using the "Mentor" perk does speed up the learning quite a bit too, when available.
Congrats on finally finishing! I have to admit that I wasn't really concerned with buffs and moodlets until I saw one of the vids for this guide. It really is ridiculous how OP you could make a sim if you have the patience (and the right packs, I guess).
11:11 🤯Wow I don't expect such a BEST Melodrama Monologue from Carl. You should consider to be voice actor. Also, personally love having mermaid for Sole purpose, the raining weather for gardening.🤣
Love this video. But the crown is a significant boost you missed that takes no time. But yes as you demonstrated it isn't remotely needed and Is ugly. I have made multiple super sims. One recently as you inspired me to do so. I enjoy it as it is in my opinion the hardest thing to do to earn every degree, max every skill, top off every career, and earn every reward trait. But after the teen years it gets more about time then challenge. I agree casters are more powerful then vamps. Casters in my opinion is the single most broken thing in the game, eliminating need management, boosting skill gains, instant on demand money (best money maker in the game and it isn't even close), tons of other useful spells, perks and potions, and no real downside once established. And clubs are broken too, almost as much. Again love this video, and series. Made me decide to do an ultra broken super sim of my own. Great job and I can't wait to read the written guide. Your site taught me much of what I know of the game. Thank you.
Amazing video Carl!! Just wanted to mention how good Storm Chaser trait is for living in Sulani. It's practically a requirement for your sim to not be tense all the time. Waterproof is super helpful too for tropical dwellers. Thanks so much for all the work you put into this!
@@CarlsSimGuides I watched all the videos of the super sim but I was like "I should have taken notes I"m gonna have to rewatch them when I make one" lol plus now that it's over you did mention things you would have done diff and stuff so that overview is nice
I make my version of Super Sims repeatedly, I do not have all the packs. I thought of making super sims a couple years ago then saw james turner version of it . You have a very detailed way of explaining things and i appreciate your videos. I used superfluster in a couple of ways . I would get a sim to take computer nerd as his asp. and stay with the tech career . when i get the aspiration filled i then get all basic skills up to 2. and use the web and the study binge reward you get from completing the asp. You can get your basic skills up to 6 including rocket science. I have learned if you only use funny interactions with another sim it will not increase your charisma. also phoning or chatting online will not affect charisma but will increase your social. sometime i stay with the career till i reach level 10 but its not important, the i go into food service and take the bartender career and still only get to 8 in charisma until i get the snagglefluster recipe. the i max all my skills .including acting . It is important to have Steel Bladder when using snaggleflusterlol. I had never known about this drink until you did the video. I will sometimes use my super sims as mentors. Thanks for all you do.
The quality of the vids you do is great, Carl. You'll improve (though you don't need to at this point) as you do more vids and learn tricks on how to do things differently. Even if the quality of your vids never changed from what they are now, they are still outstanding quality and will continue to be helpful years down the road, as well as retaining their quality. I won't ever use these skills like this because of how it removes challenge, something that's already painfully lacking in Sims 4.
The checklist is done! Here's a link to it: www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/supersim.php

Will Snyder I’m a pro simmer thats not what I meant lol
The challenge was fun the first time, but I don’t really plan to do it that extreme again.
Another thing you didn’t mention... Playing as a Super Sim gets really annoying at high levels when socializing because they end up with sooo many options in the social menu. It’s quite overwhelming having to scroll through dozens of pie menus. 😂
I have to pause between interactions because my supersim has so many choices lol
Yes!!!!!! So many options when it comes to socializing, it takes a while to find what you actually want
Now you need to try and ruin de sims live
I did that 2 but then my stupidly old computer had to get legacy edition so I lost all my sims. (I diddent go THAT extreme just max skills)
“You also get to dress them to reverse the immeasurable damage the Sims has done.”
DEAD
Yeah no kidding when they go from child to teen they go from adorable to hideous monster
This made me laugh out loud in real life.
The only true super sim is the Dear Leader: Jim Pickens

I never much saw the point of playing with toddlers or kids (or even teens) but this series has taught me the value of doing so. I started a new legacy family of 8 Sims, the goal being to have all Super Sim kids. I’m playing them in a tiny house, too. The oldest two have aged up to teens and holy sh** the skill gains are unreal.
I’m having a ton of fun. Thanks so much, Carl!
Wow, another person saying this. Thank you for letting me know! It's absolutely amazing to hear and it really touches me if I can help people enjoy things.
I'm unintentionally obsessed with having a lot of skills and their maxed, the earlier and more the better
So a truly Super Sim is now:
+ Max all skills (easy)
+ Have all traits (a bit less easy, and game play breaking when all your needs are frozen).
+ Max all Aspiration: the true back bone of this challenge.
Additionally:
Max Career: Get Famous (which comes along with the Max Aspirations) allows you to have the opportunity to Max all Careers as well.
@@CarlsSimGuides the traditions were so cool and that ending shot is so clean! Well done.

does it? no wonder Robert won’t freaking overcharge!
It *is* annoying, however, that my familiar won’t shut the hell up even though I’m immune

Pyra Barnes Do it! 😊 It is the most satisfying thing ever.
Heck, even a guide for the World Adventures' tombs and one that explains in detail how to create our own would be great.
i know i'd appreciate it if you did do some, i know you've got it all on your site in text but sometimes you just want a video explaination
THIS!
No way?!?
Wow I really typod that reply haard and had to fix it. Thanks again!
What a man has Coby grown into! That series was a lot of fun. Your guides are very informative, but gameplay videos are just on another level of entertainment. Thank you for everything you are doing Carl!
You are asking if these videos are worth it. The answer is DEFINITELY YES! You are the only person I watch "let's plays" from for 2 reasons:
Awesome, Aira - great vote of confidence and I get encouraged from that.
This is awesome. I hope you do more LP's I was highly entertained with your super sim LP. Your cheeky humor makes my day.
In the beginning I made a sim with the goal to max everything, but this is much more in depth at being a "super sim". Nice job!
Have you considered doing an updated version of this challenge? I love listening to this series as background noise, and I seem to learn more each time I listen to it 😊
Hands down Carl is a goat when it comes to getting Sims info.. never steers you wrong. Much appreciated!!

As always, solid guide and you can see your depth of knowledge about the game. Thanks for the site and guides, and your video as well!
I decided aspiration rewards were too over powered, yet still complete most of the aspirations. Thanks for all the math at the end, this is exactly what i wanted and not to watch the LP version. Carl knows his audience so well thank you!
Definitely worth the time you put in! Inspired to create my own super sim really soon!

wow! I remember reading your guides for sims 3 when i was in middle/high school, and it's so cool to see how far you've grown!
I've just picked up my SuperSim challenge after getting bored of it a year or two ago for the lack of needs reason that you mentioned. I am now enjoying trying to multitask all the new skills from the last few packs. This is really useful and very entertaining! Thanks.
I like how you point out the pros and cons of everything, even down to how fun it will be to play. Great video, as usual! :)
11:09 This makes me so happy. I appreciate you putting this in.
I have found your series informative. Thank you for taking the time to get all the information together.

Yes, your videos are absolutely worth the time you put into them... and more!!!
I really enjoyed this guide! I'm looking forward to going through the written version so that I can make my own super sim! I keep meaning to go through all of the content The Sims 4 has to offer because I have skipped so much of it despite having all of the packs. This is the perfect excuse to finally jump into it all!
I never even thought of adding these traits altogether to boost skill learning times! Wha a fab idea!
I grew bored with my family for a while but this guide is encouraging for me to continue my legacy. I'm going to focus on the children a lot more now.
I would love an update to this Super Sim from the start to max
This whole experience was so entertaining and informative. Thank you
What I was going for, thanks for telling me!
How on earth have I been using Carl's website for YEARS and then JUST TONIGHT I stumble on his youtube channel???

These guides definitely help me out Carl. I didn't know about certain things that could help boost. I love your objective takes.
Thank you and hear hear on that last bit!
