Holy Cross City trail is one of the more difficult Jeep Badge of Honor trails in Colorado. This was our first time running it but had joined others that have ran it before. Overall Holy Cross City is a challenging trail with large rock gardens and wet conditions making it slippery and hard to hold a line in some areas. It is an out and back trail making the climbs fun to slide down on the way back.

Definitely a fun day on Holy Cross!
The last time I ran this trail was about 1987. This was when the infamous mud bog was around. At that time it was possible to do it with 31x10.5" tires and open diffs. Still very difficult but doable. I can see over the years that it has become far more difficult. Thanks for sharing and the drive down memory lane 👍
Thanks for checking out our video. The mud bog is still there but a lot easier as it has been built up but you are right it would be difficult with that configuration now with all of the large boulders.
I ram holy cross almost exactly 1 year ago today. Super badass trail. One hell of a time. I wish it was closer to me so I could run it more often!!!

Awesome!! Planning a trip to the San Juan’s next year. I see you linked up with a few of my wheeling buddies from Outcast Offroad!! And who was the spotter in flannel & ball cap?? He did an excellent job!!! Can I book him when I head out there next summer?? 😂😂😂😂
We just happened to meet up with the group. @4lo_adventures was spotting. He did an awesome job getting everyone through. Let us know when next year. Maybe we can run one with you.
