It's gonna be sad when the last of these engines die out. This by far the best and beastiest sounding engine of all time. The old NABI 40-LFWs(Not this new shit NABI is trying to pass as the 40-LFW) plus the DD Series 50 is best combo ever created.
Man I miss our NABI with the DD series 50 engine in Cleveland. All retired now with the remaining NABI powered by Cat C9 engines, all being replaced by Gillig BRTs since 2015
We will tow all the OCTA NABI 040.09-LFW buses with Cummins ISL-G Engine from Anaheim and Garden Grove base to replacing into their newer buses (5701-5902)

I REALLY MISS THIS COMBONATION OF ENGINE & WRAP, AT LEAST THEY ARE COMPLETELY REHABING THESE NABI BUSES COMPLETE WITH NEW SEAT INSERTS, CAMERAS, NEW POWERED BY NATURAL GAS LETTERS, AND NEW BRIGHTER WHITE PAINT JOB THEY LOOK REALLY GOOD.

We repowered from Detoit Diesel 50 Series for all OCTA NABIs in 2008-2009 and official retired in 2016 or 2017.

they likely don't have a bypass valve between the throttle blade and turbocharger exit. Cummins natural gas engines to date are the same.
Considering that these are spark ignited engines with throttle plates, it's possible to install some right?

+TheCRTmanade from the same block design, the series 60 is a straight 6 and the 50 is a straight 4
