I never actually disliked Felix. At first I just found him to have his reasons for being like that but then I fell in love with him too. He's literally my favorite ending so far. He has such good endings with the other girls too
Felix I feel is what I think what Takumi from Fire Emblem Fates should have been written. Granted, while Felix isn't the same as Takumi one to one (Takumi's main conflict was his inferiority complex, which to be fair, Felix kinda has that with his dead brother, but not as focused on as much), but I think in terms of being the asshole character that has a good point, Felix outmatched Takumi by a long shot. Like, with Takumi, he just appeared in the prologue without a proper introduction like the other Hoshidan royal siblings and he just comes off as unlikable due to really bad first impressions. And also, Takumi's better moments mainly come from supports wheras in the story it beats it into your head about his distrust in Corrin and his hatred for Nohr. Sure, both aspects are understandable, but barely ever developed properly since Takumi just trusts in Corrin anyways (especially in Revelations where his 180 for Corrin is laughably rushed) and his hatred for Nohr feels so overexaggerated to the point it's a meme. Felix on the other hand actually has reasons to be the way he is and he's never unintentionally unsympathetic. His cynical attitude towards Dimitri? His harsh negative view on chivalry? His angst from his dead brother? His journey to be stronger than even his dead brother? His fustrations with other characters like Dedue, Ingrid, Sylvain, Ashe, and Mercedes? All completely understandable and well developed. And even then, his asshole behavior comes off as endearing since most player's first impressions come from a proper introduction from Dimitri and his eagerness to spar with you. And his negative attitude doesn't prevent him from having some great moments like his attraction to Annette's singing or how he still has good intentions despite his sharp tongue saying otherwise (like protecting his childhood friends or being weary of Dimitri eventually going insane due to all the trauma he endured). Plus, (at least in Azure Moon) he does grow to trust others naturally (he even tells Dimitri to embrace the boar within for the final battle, showing us his faith in Dimitri as a person is restored naturally instead of hap-hazardly with Takumi in Revelations), so his character development feels much more earned.

"That's robophobic" I remember when I was doing my 1st playthrough of Three Houses and I went to speak with Felix (I think it was just after the mock battle or the chapter after the bandits) and as he talked I just laughed and said "Is that Keebo?" I then looked it up and I was right which just made me laugh even more. Felix isn't the only Blue Lions character voiced by someone in Danganronpa V3 as there is also Mercedes who is voiced by Tsumugi, when I recognised her I laughed and said "Please don't be evil Mercedes".

i'd say that's because female tsunderes tend to be written by people (usually men) who seem as though they can only imagine a headstrong, proud girl as being spoiled and selfish, expecting to be catered to in every way and throwing a tantrum when she's not. it's bad writing, and makes for very unappealing characters.
a big part of the problem is that that sort of character is meant to appeal to a very specific type of male viewer, one who either wants to lick his unreasonable princess's feet or "tame" his love interest into "behaving" around him. weird and unhealthy but whatever vs infantilizing and creepy.

Yeah I kinda knew Felix's a tsudere (boy am I attracted to male versions of tsudere) but if there's one thing I like about him. His determination. He likes sparring I invited to him my class cause we like combats and fighting. So yeah he gets moody here and there but at least we both agree on the same terms which is training and sparring.
I'm extremely conflicted about Felix as a character. I agree with him that death shouldn't be glorified, but he treats almost everyone with contempt and hostility. I also find him very hypocritical. He chastises Sylvain for being unaware and blind to his actions hurting people, yet he constantly disregards people's feelings, either purposely or accidentally and often treats them like garbage. He's constantly criticizing everyone's ideals and treats them like they're stupid, yet often wants things to go bad on missions so he can swing his sword around. He chastises his father during his Paralogue, accusing him of caring more of his ego than his subjects, yet is very egotistical himself, constantly stating he'll defeat whoever he goes up against and focuses more on fighting to improve his skills rather than those who are in danger. His 'Go find a husband' has had mixed reactions, so here's mine: he had absolutely no right to say that to Ingrid. He was basically telling her to throw away her dreams of becoming a Knight and find someone to take care of her while he goes to pursue his own goals. While Ingrid did need to stop idolizing Glenn's death (which she does in her supports with Dimitri), she was more than capable of thinking for herself, but Felix accused her of blindly doing whatever she was told when she has a clear sense of right and wrong. I get Felix didn't want her to die, but he was out of line when he said that. What I do approve of is Felix vocally speaking out against Dimitri's actions after the timeskip. Dimitri has become blinded by his rage and hatred, leading him to disregard not only his own life, but the lives of his allies. Dimitri was ignoring all advice because he cared more about killing Edelgard than anything else; only after Rodrigue's death did Dimitri finally realize what his blind hatred was costing him. After that, Felix started calling Dimitri by his name again instead of just 'boar'. I enjoy his support with Annette as it's one of the few times he's not rude or hostile. I could honestly see them together as a couple since Felix would actually treat her kindly instead of being a prick. Overall, I'm extremely torn between liking or hating Felix.

It's weird, female tsunderes annoy the heck out of me for some reason, but the males crack me up. Maybe it's because I am a female myself and am naturally more critical of those of my gender? Lol. But yeah I peg Felix to be a tsundere with that, "Don't mess with me line" and I was laughing my head off at 'turn away' part hehe. Okay I'll admit though, with that last picture, I literally said the first time, "Ohhhh now KISS HER!" Lol.
Maybe it has to do with the fact male tsunderes aren't as violent
as females

i'd say that's because female tsunderes tend to be written by people (usually men) who seem as though they can only imagine a headstrong, proud girl as being spoiled and selfish, expecting to be catered to in every way and throwing a tantrum when she's not. it's bad writing, and makes for very unappealing characters.
a big part of the problem is that that sort of character is meant to appeal to a very specific type of male viewer, one who either wants to lick his unreasonable princess's feet or "tame" his love interest into "behaving" around him. weird and unhealthy but whatever vs infantilizing and creepy.

Yeah I kinda knew Felix's a tsudere (boy am I attracted to male versions of tsudere) but if there's one thing I like about him. His determination. He likes sparring I invited to him my class cause we like combats and fighting. So yeah he gets moody here and there but at least we both agree on the same terms which is training and sparring.

I'm extremely conflicted about Felix as a character.
I agree with him that death shouldn't be glorified, but he treats almost everyone with contempt and hostility.
I also find him very hypocritical. He chastises Sylvain for being unaware and blind to his actions hurting people, yet he constantly disregards people's feelings, either purposely or accidentally and often treats them like garbage. He's constantly criticizing everyone's ideals and treats them like they're stupid, yet often wants things to go bad on missions so he can swing his sword around. He chastises his father during his Paralogue, accusing him of caring more of his ego than his subjects, yet is very egotistical himself, constantly stating he'll defeat whoever he goes up against and focuses more on fighting to improve his skills rather than those who are in danger.
His 'Go find a husband' has had mixed reactions, so here's mine: he had absolutely no right to say that to Ingrid. He was basically telling her to throw away her dreams of becoming a Knight and find someone to take care of her while he goes to pursue his own goals. While Ingrid did need to stop idolizing Glenn's death (which she does in her supports with Dimitri), she was more than capable of thinking for herself, but Felix accused her of blindly doing whatever she was told when she has a clear sense of right and wrong. I get Felix didn't want her to die, but he was out of line when he said that.
What I do approve of is Felix vocally speaking out against Dimitri's actions after the timeskip. Dimitri has become blinded by his rage and hatred, leading him to disregard not only his own life, but the lives of his allies. Dimitri was ignoring all advice because he cared more about killing Edelgard than anything else; only after Rodrigue's death did Dimitri finally realize what his blind hatred was costing him. After that, Felix started calling Dimitri by his name again instead of just 'boar'.
I enjoy his support with Annette as it's one of the few times he's not rude or hostile. I could honestly see them together as a couple since Felix would actually treat her kindly instead of being a prick.
Overall, I'm extremely torn between liking or hating Felix.
Felix definitely has a thing for soft girls because his support with Flayn, Annette and Bernadetta are were he's very gentle lol
