Honestly I never even considered Ashe an option to romance. The entire time I could only ever see him as my baby boy. I got so emotional seeing him after the time skip, for about a week after, all I could think whenever he opened his mouth was, "Oh god, my baby boy is a man now." I felt like a proud mom. On another note, agree with Dimileth being canon from Dimitri's side. The game itself practically ships it. I know for a fact that his voice actor does, with all the art he retweets.

I folded myself like a fucking pretzel to keep him alive and happy. I was playing male Byleth sadly, so he left to have a bromance with Dedue and it broke my heart. I fully intend to play every house and path and return to master the Blue Lions and still Dimitri's virginity.

BoomTangle if you beat the game with Mercedes and Sylvain at the right support level they will have a child in the end credit dialogue that has no crest. It just put a tear in my eye when I saw it

bruh I’m a couple months after the time jump with my first Blue Lions playthrough. Dimitri is a jerk. I hope they do something in the last few Chapters to bring me on his side again. After playing Golden Deer first time around, I’m deeply regretting this choice of supporting Blue Lions. I wouldn’t think of putting Dimitri on the throne. 😩
One thing that this game did so well is letting characters have confessions without changing their overall personality. In fates and in awakening a little too, their confessions were largely copypaste ones. But the fact that Seteth immediately orders Byleth to get back to work, Felix dragged Byleth to the fricking TRAINING GROUND to propose, Ferdinand had a fricking beautiful ring, Linhardt actually lied down while proposing, and that Lorenz is still "LoReNZ HeLLMaN GLouCeSTer" to the very end is part of what made this game so different and wonderful.
Wow. Ashe’s S support actually got me a little teary. Knowing his troubled past plus the amazing voice acting performance really makes that a special scene.

I didn’t really like Dimitri. He was really nice and kind in he first ten chapters. Then when he became blood thirsty and vicious, I was immediately put off. He recovered in the end, but deep down that messed up part of him is still there.

But there's less M/M than F/F due to them perceiving that most of their players are straight men. They feign being "progressive", when it's highly degrading.

I am rather concerned why everyone is all over their head about Bernadetta, who always have the freaking same dialogue and reaction no matter her interlocutor, the context or the level of the rank. I understand why Cyril's devotion for Rhea can be sometime annoying, but at least his support dialogue doesn't have nothing to do with this, and some of them are funny and inspirationnal (Cyril is such a good dude). Bernadetta always react the same, no matter if it a custscene, a dialogue in his room, or a support dialogue. I didn't have any hate for her, but when I see a lot of people using the same argument to insult Cyril when Bernie is wayyyyy more redundant, it's kinda maddening.

I'm extremely shallow and picked my route purely based on quality of husbandos and went with Dimitri because he appealed to me the most before release. Little did I know this game has some of the goodest bois in all of the series ;~; Dimitri's support is absolutely precious and going through everything they went together, he and Byleth deserve to end up together. He's just so sweet to her throughout the whole Part I and you can tell how indebted to her he is in Part II and the fact that she never gave up on him. And I will never get over him calling her "My beloved" UGGGGHHHH. GOOD. BOY. But then you have Ashe and Dedue (MY PRECIOUS BABIES), Felix (even I didn't care for him at first but he's such a tsun) , Sylvain is actually really sweet, and (even though I haven't finished GD yet) Raphael and Ignatz are such sweethearts. I'm waiting until I finish GD to see Claude's because I'm going for him in this route, but I already know he's going to be a winner.

After playing Golden Deer first time around, I’m deeply regretting this choice of supporting Blue Lions. I wouldn’t think of putting Dimitri on the throne. 😩

One thing that this game did so well is letting characters have confessions without changing their overall personality. In fates and in awakening a little too, their confessions were largely copypaste ones. But the fact that Seteth immediately orders Byleth to get back to work, Felix dragged Byleth to the fricking TRAINING GROUND to propose, Ferdinand had a fricking beautiful ring, Linhardt actually lied down while proposing, and that Lorenz is still "LoReNZ HeLLMaN GLouCeSTer" to the very end is part of what made this game so different and wonderful.
Wow. Ashe’s S support actually got me a little teary. Knowing his troubled past plus the amazing voice acting performance really makes that a special scene.
I love how excited he gets when he sees that Byleth has a ring for him, it's like the best part!

i love how sylvain is so insistent on staying dedicated to byleth; the first marriage he got with another student in my playthrough was with dorothea, and it was apparently the same concept -- he proposed over and over until she accepted with the promise that they'd stay together into old age (and he upheld that). i thought it was really sweet personally.
Him and Ingrid have a ton of kids and none bare a crest and it's kinda cute. It mentions his fierce loyalty.

He's actualy one of my favorite character. I am rather concerned why everyone is all over their head about Bernadetta, who always have the freaking same dialogue and reaction no matter her interlocutor, the context or the level of the rank.
I understand why Cyril's devotion for Rhea can be sometime annoying, but at least his support dialogue doesn't have nothing to do with this, and some of them are funny and inspirationnal (Cyril is such a good dude). Bernadetta always react the same, no matter if it a custscene, a dialogue in his room, or a support dialogue.

I'm extremely shallow and picked my route purely based on quality of husbandos and went with Dimitri because he appealed to me the most before release. Little did I know this game has some of the goodest bois in all of the series ;~;
Dimitri's support is absolutely precious and going through everything they went together, he and Byleth deserve to end up together. He's just so sweet to her throughout the whole Part I and you can tell how indebted to her he is in Part II and the fact that she never gave up on him. And I will never get over him calling her "My beloved" UGGGGHHHH. GOOD. BOY.
But then you have Ashe and Dedue (MY PRECIOUS BABIES), Felix (even I didn't care for him at first but he's such a tsun) , Sylvain is actually really sweet, and (even though I haven't finished GD yet) Raphael and Ignatz are such sweethearts.
I'm waiting until I finish GD to see Claude's because I'm going for him in this route, but I already know he's going to be a winner.
I love Claude to the moon and back, like im ready to die for him anytime, but his S-Support is kinda a letdown compared to the others.

Byleth reason magics are kinda Underwhelming, but Faith magics specially in enlightened one form are DISGUSTINGLY STRONG

Referencing the character endings, Claude becoming king of Almyra and summoning an army to help Byleth win a battle is probably the coolest one.
I just felt his support was the most canonical like most endings his doesn't end in a fairytale romance. he's saying I love you but wait for me it's rare to see those types of endings
Yeah everyone loves you but do they all love you enough to become king of another land, shout a battle cry, and save you from an impeding army love you? Thats some real ish right there. As far as lords go, as much as i also love dimitri, he requires a hell of a lot of emotional labour that would be unfair for byleth on their own to deal with. And edelgard requires a lot as well (she did a lot of shady biz and that would be rough to have to sort through and cope with)
