Anna I been watching you on TikTok just today I realise that you have your RUclips channel I was so happy to join you. Love your art it’s amazing. I been painting with oils but now want start watercolour. Hope to learn from you.
Anna you are one of the most generous and informative watercolour artists on RUclips. I just had to join your Patreon. You have already taught me so much and I can’t wait to continue this journey. Thank You ☺️
I second that! 😊 Anna, I am also planning to join your Patreon before the end of the year. I cannot get enough of your videos! For once in my life, I believe I can learn to paint with watercolours and be successful at it.
Absolutely stunning, Anna, so delighted to be able to learn from your instruction and amazing techniques. You make it look so easy and straightforward. I just love your tutorial. Looking forward to the penguin, too. Thank you so much.
Thank you! And your beautiful blue pumpkin is ready! 💙 I am really sorry it took me this long but it’s here, drying on my table and I will be sending it to you over the weekend 😊 Will follow up over email!
Hi Anna, how lovely and delicate is this painting! I love the technique that you used❤I cannot wait to see you paint the penguin, it should be so much fun and interesting. Thank you so much. Helene
@anna Bucciarelli do you have a video of how you do swatches to test gradients of all colours? it seems (and looks) easy, but i think i have spent 3 hours so far doing nothing but swatches of the same colours and i am still not satisfied or having found a good technique. You seem VERY talented and are super good at explaining, so i was wondering if you have a video that explains the techniques of swatching water colours to see how they do gradients. Both in regards to the colours but also the paper (what is important here). I have invested in a 24 colours Himi Gouache set, and i am very happy with it, the colours are from my perspective (as a complete beginner) amazing. But before i start using them i really wish to just learn to swatch them properly, and the internet has a lot of opinions on this, where i have tried many techniques but it just does not give consistent results so far. Also if you have no such video and no interest in doing one, are there any resources you can point me towards that you think are great, where i can become wiser on this?
Kathleen is right - there is no big “secret” to getting better other than lots of practice 😊 Pick the subjects you love and enjoy learning, experimenting and trying new techniques! 🩷
I just recently started to paint from my own reference pictures or imagination. And what I found that really helps me a lot, is to paint something with similar subjects and techniques that I used in the tutorial before. So before starting to paint I sit down and think about the effects I want to achieve and which techniques, colors etc. I already used in the past. 😊
Gorgeous
