Good video!!!! The additional small light up front is mandated by the government because the headlights are recessed back behind the leading edge nose of the car. So at night when turning through an intersection an opposing driver will see the inside headlights but the small light shining across the nose of the car will grab your attention until the instant in time passes and you then see the outside headlights shining through. It is mainly for pedestrians to see at night the width of the car. Will make a difference for motorcyclists and walkers. Recommend that you don’t start the video until the bird droppings are cleared off of the black car that shows everything. Big huge splat on the hood/fender at the beginning of the video. Remember that your audience watching & subscribing to your 703Speed channel are Mustang enthusiasts and we gasp when we notice something like that huge bird dropping on the black paint beginning to cause damage to the clear-coat shadow black paint!!!!! Well-done and comprehensive review. Not sure how much I like the new electric vehicle-like dash on these (though a lot of cool options). The new Mustang has never looked so Gen 6 Camaro from the identical black heat extractor on the hood to the large rear quarter panel haunches and that's a good thing. With that blissful V8 drone coming out of the exhaust, do you really need a stereo?
Go for it mate! Get the Mustang PP and yes I'd love to watch a build s650 series. The mustang community is huge and friendly. Many awesome guys out there, do car gathering and such things. Wish you all the best

They went with dual intakes because of carbon traps. It lowered the ho, so instead of making throttle body larger, they went with 2 to bring back the horsepower. And removing carbon traps is an emissions item. Don't remove it. Now Ford says the most powerful coyote. True. The hp has been increased by 20. However the car is heavier. Ford is not saying it's faster or has better performance than last gen. Just more hp at the flywheel. And those screens. Just awful. If they were built into the dash, it would be better. The car snitches to Ford. It records everything. So if you do something stupid, or modify anything drivetrain wise, Ford knows about it you can not put a tune on the car either. Ford locked down the computer. . The last gen mustang has a better interior. It is just as fast or faster than the 2024. Go buy the last s550 on the lots. I'm sure there are bargains. Or buy used. This gen is a dud. I have had a few s550. My current car is a 21 gt I bought with 5k mikes on it with full options. Paid 40k. I sat in the new mustang a week ago. It was meh. Boring, ugly with the screens and just not inspiring at all. The local dealers of course has a 5k markup. Why wouldn't they. I don't think these cars are going to sell like the last gen.
Yeah, I hate how all these new cars report back to the manufactures letting them know if the car has been modified. I mean, yes, it makes sense for them, but it almost feels like an invasion of privacy. I agree, I wish the screens were built into the dash. A lot of these car makers are just plopping the screens on the dash - very lazy in my opinion...
@@703Speed I think it's because the kids getting into cars. Ford is following Tesla. I see these screens you can put in the s550 to imitate Tesla. I think they are hideous. To go through a menu to change the HVAC controls is stupid. I can just use the knob. So much quicker. Trying to drive and have to funnke with a screen to turn on AC or heat.
Too much quicker to use a knob!! I try to preach that in my reviews that physical HVAC controls are soo much better!! It can be quite distracting messing with the screen while driving to change the fan speed for example.. @@davidspangler7667

It does look more Camaro than ever from the functional hood heat extractor (looks like it's the same exact size and from the same supplier), to the large rear quarter panel haunches. That being said the Mustang never looked or sounded better than this new model. Good review didn't realize that Coyote V8 can run on 87 octane.
I am driving my 3rd S550 GT so I’ve been around the car a lot. And I gotta say, the rear haunches on the S550 are just as pronounced as the S650. So I don’t see Camaro in the rear end at all. If anywhere, the horizon of the headlights from the ground up kind of mimics The 6th Gen Camaro as it has that NASCAR look that the Camaro has. What the Camaro and this Mustang don’t have in common is this exhaust. Camaros sound good. Mustangs sound great. FORD has owned the exhaust game for decades, going back to the Foxbody days. Mustangs have always been so recognizable
@703Speed I have 8 payments left on my nissan altima. Then I'm going to buy a 5.0 10 speed Premium or a new BMW M240i. I have had a 2009 Twin Turbo BMW 135i and sold it got a 2014 Mustang 5.0 6Speed. BMW was faster and handled better but I really liked my Mustang. I payed off my Mustang in 2018. I bought an altima for gas to go to work and back. A couple months later I got t-boned in my Mustang. So I've been patiently waiting for this. Can't wait.
