I think Genos was always the Mad Cyborg. It makes too much sense. He just doesn't remember and he's chasing a villain that doesn't exist.
Here is a theory that Genos in the future is the Mad Cyborg losing his consciousness. He somehow could go time travelling and killed everything he saw. Then the dr Kuseno reprogrammed him then he continues to live until now

@@summer_was_fun Yeah I agree but if he was the Mad Cyborg then he'd have to sustain some great injury that would leave him without memories and a need for his body to be rebuilt from scratch. Which would leave him in his weaker state that we meet him in. Not a perfect theory but it'd be a fun twist.
I think it's something completely different, I don't think Genos is the evil cyborg, I think what happened is that that battle suit that Dr Kuseno left is the body of the evil cyborg, this could explain a lot of things, Genos seems to be way more stronger than before, he's been acting furious, wants to kill no matter what happens, I think the real body is taking over his head, and maybe this is what is making the robots havoc the whole city, I think there's a influence going though the urge of Genos to kill Metal Knight, and the truth is the Kuseno wanted to recreate the evil cyborg but to be good, and used Genos for his experimentations, the only to be able to save Genos is Saitama...
Blue is definitely using the armor suit, and I think he's going to be brainwashed and get into a fight against Saitama that makes me think he is gonna do something terrible without knowing, will One make Saitama kill off Blue and get Blast to lose his mind and fight Saitama, andake this a fair fight in a way that makes sense for the story?
I think this is the case, instead of Blast turning evil or maybe Saitama becoming bad for these two to fight I think some consequences are going to happen, let's be honest, lots of inconvenient things happened to Saitama, blamed for destroying everything while trying to save people, nobody recognizing him as a true and best hero, I think One is gonna do it, make Saitama hurt Blue to get Blast to blast 😅
I dont think blast cares about blue lol. At least not in that way. I think we will see blast at the end of this arc though. Maybe to face off against drive knight or another big name in the organisation that we maybe havent seen
I actually think Saitama crashing into a blue was a plot point that'll be used as an excuse for Blue not to get brainwashed. I think Saitama crashing into him will cause the suit to malfunction so that it won't take him over like the others

Well, Genos could have been infected with a Trojan-like virus, because he fought a machine-god G-¤ (iirc), took its parts and asked Dr. Kuseno to use this to upgrade him. Maybe that time he had the upgrade got into his systems even after he changed upgrades again. Since he also was somehow compatible with Drive Knight too in Monster Association Arc when fighting Psykorochi, maybe Drive Knight "infected" him more. Just speculation, if Drive Knight is the culprit.

Kuseno could still be alive. Not in the flesh, but virtually. What if Kuseno was the one who stole the AI tech? He could've inserted his personality into the AI program and made it his own and Genos is now his puppet to finish off Dr. Bofoi. Drive Knight may as well be Kuseno's creation to exploit Genos' dark past to influence him towards Kuseno's goals.
Goat boros is back with more power and destruction. If I think for a sec boros is regenerating his wounds even after tanking the strongest punch beyond the power of his own which means he even capable to survived saitama's serious punch

One thing I noticed in this chapter, Boros doesn't have an eye in his chest anymore. This is pretty much just my headcanon, but I always assumed he had a core like Melzergard, which is how he was able to pull off nigh immortality levels of regeneration, we do see a tiny purple dot in the center of his body after Saitama liquified him with consecutive normal punches, and even though it was supposed to be the core of the ship, we see a core crack after he gets hit with a serious punch, after that he can't regenerate anymore, and then it shatters the moment he dies, so I thought that was supposed to be his weak point being broken when I first saw that fight. That eye on his chest sat in the same spot that the little glowing dot was when he pulled himself back together, so if that didn't regenerate then maybe he lost the source of his power after Saitama beat him, that would put him in a pretty interesting place, because he wouldn't be hax broken like he was before, but he would still be ridiculously strong, so he would actually be able to compete on the same level as the higher level characters

Basically simply put, after getting folded like an omlet by saitama and dying, he no longer has motives to continue being what he was prior, he went on a galactic hunt for someone who can challenge him and lost
not saying it'll be a complete 180, probably be like a garou situation where he tries to convince himself he must continue to fight random strangers
besides, itll be another being who can stand up to the forces of god, so an epic team up would be dope

We already can see that Saitama is (by accident) saving people from God's influence, like he did to Garou, same thing could've happen with Boros, he defeated Boros that was probably one of God's Disciples (even if he himself wasnt aware of that) and now he's free and like you said, without purpose just like Garou, Sonic and Grover also fit a little bit here
There was a theory that Saitama was going to create his own Hero association with the alies (some former enemies) he gather thoughout his journey.

So basically this chapter exposes Neo Heroes as they were claiming to be different from the hero association. The suit brain washed whoever wears it. But the question is who is controlling these suits ?

Perhaps Kuseno and Bufoi made metal knight who then built Drive Knight. But then again... Genos is the one who still has any organic components to him: a brain.

The "briefcase" doesn't need to be that fancy and I don't think Salaryman Saitama would have had a fancy briefcase I just think it would be kinda funny.

Genos wasn't punching himself because he's getting mind controlled, he was punching himself for thinking of Saitama as a distraction. Earlier in the fight when he asks himself why he never acted on his suspicions about Metal Knight, he thinks of Saitama just lounging around, and for a split second blames Saitama for his lack of focus

I postulated over a year ago that Genos IS the mad cyborg. He killed his own family and mistakenly concluded it was someone else. The doctor went along and said it was someone else to spare Genos the pain of knowing he lost control and killed his own family.

I think Metal Knight and Blast have a sort of alliance and MK was instructed to salvage boros per Blast's "future" experience with new boros! I think there's a continuity purpose of saving Boros in the past so he exists in the future as Blast's companion! Drive knight is definitely evil and planted something within Genus during their joint transformation fight against the monster association!

Genos being somewhat brain washed could be the result of the G4 technology he recovered. Sure he's gotten more upgrades sense then but it could be that technology going forward. The AI from G4 could still be present in some form.

BTW, Saitama and Blue collided. Saitama noticed he wasn't a bot and maneuvered at the last second. If you look at those last panels you can see Saitama's balled-up fist just missed Blue. Saitama being more of an unstoppable force than Blue is an immovable object is what sent Blue careening through those buildings.
i had always thought that Genos was gonna be Brainwashed to some extent and somehow he'll break through and find out that he is exactly who he was looking for
