I just got the G502 Hero to replace my Razer Deathadder, but unfortunately I find the G502 to be a little narrow and it makes my hand cramp up. maybe its where I have big hands. Going to order the Rival 600 and give it a go, seems to be a good size like the Deathadder.
Dude, I have the SAME problem with the G502. Have you used a Mamba? I honestly like the hand feel of the Elite better than the wireless. I thought I loved the DA, but the Mamba is wider and it's been my go to now for some time.

Great review, you answered the one question I had that other channels haven't. I dislike the huge ass on the Rival 310 when playing FPS and assumed the 600 was the same and had discounted it for that reason. If it's not as bad as the 310 I might have to give it a go.
Thanks man! It's a completely different feel. Just be aware that the CPI toggle button is a lot bigger, which I like, but it's worth noting.
BadSeed Tech That helps as well, I usually re-bind the CPI toggle for an extra button anyway
They finally made the butt a reasonable size for me. I immediately took to the Rival 600. The feel. Is very similar to the EC1/EC2 it's kinda inbetween in size. Perfect placement of grips.

Had to reglue the rubber grips on the side as the glue weeps. Looking into it, its a common problem.
After 4 years of regular use, I am pleased to say this mouse is still pretty awesome. Couple issues arising tho, the rubber on the right side where your middle, ring and pinky fingers grip the mouse is starting to unglue itself and slide around a little bit. Hasn't detached but occasionally I'll feel a tiny bit of sticky glue seep out and touch my finger. Again, it's after 4 years of use so can't complain too much. The customization software is really nice, haven't had to open it or change anything in years, it just works. The non-braided cable has held up perfectly, but does get caught on things sometimes so the next mouse I'd buy will definitely be wireless. Overall 9.5 out of 10, would recommend.
This is the best review I have ever seen. Just bought the mouse a couple of days ago, and I was kinda sceptic whether or not to get my money back because it was a big change from a mid-range mouse to a top-range one. But after this video, it justified that it was the correct mouse. Thank you.

Honest reviews guys, the glue inside those thumb grip will be leaking and will be sticky within 8- 12 months.

I basically didn't buy this mouse. my friend gave it to me for my birthday, but the wireless one. It is nuts because my friend got it for 110 bucks. I legit.. WAITED till I had a gaming computer to even USE IT for the first time, because that's how NICE this mouse is. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT MOUSE

i think u have not used a lot of mouse to know as the 300 and 710 rival have the good size buttons on the left this 600 is so little the rival 710 works well before the mouse stuffed up in about 90 days but maybe i will get one more rival 710 or just use the rival 300

Thanks man! I have not used the 310, only the 300. I like the 600 over the 300 but a buddy of mine prefers to taller back end of the 310. Mice are such a personal thing.
@@badseedtech agreed. The last 4 years I've only used mmo mice though but now all I play is rainbow 6. So I need a good shooter mouse. I know both are great mice. Just trying to find out as much as I can before I decide. I'm leaning towards 310 I think

Logitech is definitely handling their business on the wireless angle. I have a G900 that I enjoy from time to time and I honestly cant tell that its wireless.

Nice to hear about reliability. Have a mamba elite and I love the mouse. But. Almost every single time I load a game my calibration is off and the mouse moves like an inch on screen when I pick it up, forcing me to recalibrate. Additionally it's a laser mouse, my first, and I have to clean the sensor once a week or it get all wonky. Haven't had that problem with optical mice. Good review. Thanks

BadSeed Tech man I may follow up with you to see how you like them against each other. If it ever starts acting like it’s hitching as you move it clean the sensor. Almost trashed the mouse before I figured that out. But the constant recalibration is killing me. Especially when I realize it’s off in the middle of a match. Maddening. Thanks for the reply too man. Nope. Afraid there is no assignable CPI clutch on this mouse.
I have a razer DA and find it really comfortable to hold, if i buy the rival 600, will it feel similar or around the same comfort territory?
I would say less comfortbale. The ergo on a DA are sooo nice.

I have to return mine. Quality of the build is poor, rubber grips sliding off the edges after 4 months of use. Why? because adhesive that was used for those rubber parts melts under the hand temperature. I could get a full refund a week ago, but the mouse is waiting at home in a box! No one picked it up, because amazon is using hermes services for returns and apparently it doesn't work well... had to remind them that I'm waiting with the package ready to go. The whole experience is horrible. I need to contact customer service again and guess what, I don't have a mouse :) wack move with the quality, steel series, really wack...

So are the side grips coming off after some time still an issue? (Rival 300 and 310 user here)
I've used mine for a year now and the grips are still intact. Just a little dust buildup around the lining of the grips. I will say it is difficult to lift the mouse cause the grips have gotten even more slippery than stock.
@@Pending.Approval I have similar problem of slippery right side on my G403. It could be solved with antislip patches, I guess, but it would be even harder to cleanup then. I wish they would modify the shape of right side a bit. It is something that Rival 310 has much better.

I just got the 600, I've heard talks about the 502 being an excellent mouse, but having unnecessary buttons and the shape being weird, I personally don't know. I would recommend the 600 if you would like to have a really lightweight mouse (adjustable too) with cool effects, (E.g. lightening up when someone speaks or when you speak, when someone joins/leaves a call, in CS you can set up the lights to go dim when you run out of ammo/health, audiovisualizer, prismsync, etc). The only problem seems to be the length of the mouse, its longer than most mice on the market but it's not that big of a problem, people with smaller hands can use it since the buttons are quite big. I guess the 502 beats the 600 when it comes to MMORPG games like WoW because it has more buttons and therefore you are able to bind all of them for multiple abilities. Both are great mice, it comes to your preference, I'm trying to get used to the 600 now after using a bloody a60 mouse for 2 years.

Negative. No issues at all. I am curious though...gonna go read these Amazon reviews.
On the German Amazon reviews, they claim that the rubber layer gets thinner and even rubs off little parts where your thumb and ringfinger touch the mouse, after merely two weeks...I am still waiting for a slight price drop for it though!

You say that there is no way to go beyond only two dpi settings...not necessarily true. I found a clever way to have as many DPI settings with color visualization (just like on most gaming mice) as needed. I made a short video on how to achieve this at: ruclips.net/video/eCrsKV9OOEM/видео.html
