The video quality overall is very nice. Also, really appreciate that you specified the mic models used and how much the sound amplified during the sound test. Usually it is a huge pain to understand how exactly the keyboard sounds, bc everyone’s mic and volume is different

Just got mine a few days ago independent of this video, as well as the transparent keycaps which are really cool. Currently I use a Wooting 60HE which I love. My only gripes (that aren't listed in this video) with the Field75 hardware are the key travel, which subjectively feels too short, and the key-feel so to speak. The keys have a bizarre soft touch effect that makes it feel really easy to accidentally hit the wrong key. I'm sure I'd get used to it, but it's worth mentioning. The problem that really is preventing me from using it for the most part is the software. For one, Nuphy has an inferior "Mod Tap" implementation (tap for one function hold for another). On the Wooting you can customize how long you need to hold the button, allowing me to set incredibly short windows for Mod Tap. This lets me set the "1" through "=" buttons to be their native characters on tap, but f1 through f12 on incredibly short hold (100ms). It basically feels like magic where the subtlest difference changes the function of the button. On the Nuphy software, you cannot customize this interval. I don't know exactly how long, but it feels like around 250-300ms, which is far too slow. Enabling Mod Tap on the Field75 will frequently cause some games (notably Helldivers 2) to drop inputs. I'm not sure if this is due to the long interval or due to some other implementation flaw, but it is worth mentioning. The second flaw is that for some reason you cannot remap the f1-f12 keys to special characters. I'd love to be able to use Mod Tap to remap the numbers to F1-F12, and the map the native F keys to F13-F24, but It's just not feasible on this keyboard. Other than that it's a cool keyboard. If they fix the software issues I might give it another go.

As for the Jades they are long pole switches and have a shorter travel distance!
A lot of keyboard reviews focus on the sound and disregard gaming performance, I hope you review other keyboard as well with gaming even if they're not gaming branded. Good job on this, eventhough this is not my kind of keyboard, I'll keep an eye out for other reviews of yours in the future! Great video
@@julesloveless thank you so much:) i sadly don’t have the tools to measure the exact latency like optimum tech for example but i would consider myself decent at fps:) i‘m immortal in val, used to be champs in fortnite (quit like a year ago) and now grind for iridescent in warzone. I just know when a keyboard feels off and i think that there are many others in the exact same spot as me. so trying to figure out if a keyboard is good for gaming or not is my no1 prio 🫶

I sold my Wooting 60HE recently as it doesn’t have enough keys for me. If you’re used to 60% profile you’ll likely be fine but it wasn’t for me. I purchased an Epomaker Cidoo C75 that’s got HE & 8k polling.. Rapid trigger and adjustable response to 0.1mm I loved the Wooting but the 80HE was going to cost double the price incl. delivered to me in Thailand than the Epomaker. The Epomaker has an aluminium housing.
@@AnotherJaegerist if you just care about performance they are equal, nuphy technically has lower latency but it’s not noticeable during use :). If you want the better stock sound and feel 100% nuphy. If you want to mod your keyboard wooting 100%. Both have their pros and cons, hope this helps 🫶

Heeyyyy latency wise it’s 0.6ms (nuphy) vs 1.2ms (wooting). Those numbers are actually so extremely low on both keyboards that you most likely wouldn’t notice them in game! Both the wooting and nuphy are absolutely amazing and already within the best keyboards you can buy for gaming :) i will also keep the wooting content coming since it’s just such a flexible and easy to mod keyboard 🫶

But i still enjoyed this video and after watching it i know that i wouldn’t like the keyboard just because of its design anyways, that handle is just a bit too much for me, i’m gonna build my wooting white and clean, wouldn’t be possible with this one.

can't speak for the iqunix since i haven't tried it yet... maybe ask @jerrorr he's a reviewer friend and tried both! I personally can only say your doing nothing wrong going with the field75he! great keeb! also check out nuphy's latest one the low profile air60he it has 8000hz scan and polling rate (same as iqunix)

It seems uneccessarily large for a 75% board. Wtf does it need a carrying handle for. I'm sorry, who the fk carries their keyboard around like it's a handbag? Idk, design seems cool on the one hand, but stuff like carrying handles are so uneccessary. That said my biggest gripe with HE boards are that they generally sound like garbage compared to mech switches that are lubed
@@3choblast3r4 the design is definitely unique haha i don’t think there is any purpose behind that handle, just for the looks is my guess. As for the sound HE definitely is inferior 100% even to stock Cream Sodas or any other good factory lubed switch. Gateron recently released pro versions of the jades and a new switch called jade pro max. i would look into them if sound is important to you! Also Geon dropped their RAW HEs all of them sound waaay better! Gonna be comparing all of them soon
