I like how the sequel movies both had dark reflections of Hiccup as the villains. Drago from 2 was the dark dragon tamer who used fear instead of comraderie. Grimmel from 3 is a more literal reflection of Hiccup as he is him if he killed toothless when he caught him.

Best part is the 500 pound mountain of stubborn muscle Stoick the Vast sobbing over his presumed dead wife and wishing she was there to help raise his son. And telling Hiccup he will never want another wife, and that love is worth every single moment despite the inevitability of loss.
@@justhere-uu6mwyes, the Fireworm Queen is considerably larger than the rest of her kind, and they can even help reignite the flames of Stoker class dragons like the Monstrous Nightmare or the Terrible Terror

The best animated trilogy of all time closely followed by Kung fu panda. This is such an amazing but bitter sweet ending followed by a happy ending it wraps everything up perfectly. Also i love Toothless's girlfriemd the Lightfury awesome reaction guys😊
My favorite fictional dragon: Falkor from The Neverending Story. My favorite dragon: Toothless. And don't say he's not real, because we Berkians, we know otherwise!
I was about 4 when the first movie came out and I've watched everything how to train your dragon since it's a big part of my life and this movie was an end of an era here's hoping there's a live action that does the trilogy justice
I gotta say I kinda wish they would’ve taken some time between each movie, as much as I love these reactions and can’t wait for the next one these are the kind of you grow up with and watch over a few years, what was most impactful about this story is how it spanned out over so many years and the audience grew with the characters, watching them all back to back kinda diminishes the emotional impact and doesn’t allow to savor the moments and really absorb everything
Brazil mentioned 😆😆 yes, there is a place here that resembles the waterfall of the hidden world, it's Foz do Iguaçu. Anyways, that's my favorite trilogy, I cried so much in the 2nd and 3rd movie, well much more in the last one cause there so much little references from the other two movies, like the movement hiccup does when after the goodbye is like the inverse of when he finally connects with toothless in the first movie and everything. Well I just love it so much.
I saw this movie in theaters, we had just gotten out of another movie and had time to spare before my dad could pick me my bff, my sister and my sisters bff up, so we got more tickets to see this, My bff was obsessed with the series and I had only seen the first one. I was very confused and had no clue who some of the characters were (the mom and Eret) because I had never seen the second movie. But It still managed to make me tear up at the end with seeing Toothless' babies. I ended up watching the second one at some point and I do love the series. I think it's a really great group of movies whether you are showing it to kids or just an adult who wants to watch a couple of cute movies.
This is my favorite animated series of all time next to The Incredibles. They wove magic into everything, especially Toothless, because he somehow transcends an onscreen, animated dragon.
You guys should watch the Christmas special, it’s about Hiccup and Astrid’s kids and it’s set just before Hiccup’s kids meet Toothless. The 3 TV shows are also great, especially the last one as it builds Hiccup and Astrid’s relationship.

Next we’re getting a live-action How To Train Your Dragon with Mason Thames and Nico Parker as Hiccup and Astrid, and Gerard Butler is coming back as Stoick. I just wish Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera could make cameo in it.
I am SO looking forward to seeing Gerard Butler reprise his role as Stoick in live action. He was the heart and soul of the trilogy. It’s like James Earl Jones coming back as Mufasa in The Lion King 2019.
Love your guys' reactions. These movies are really perfect in every way. These movies do have T.V. series that are both midquels and sequels to each film also. I don't know if you guys realized it, but Toothless has a similar look and acts a lot like Stitch. And that is because one of the creators and directors of the How to Train Your Dragon movies, Chris Sanders, was both the creator of Stitch and his voice and he inspired a lot if that on him besides the books of course. And happy belated 5th anniversary "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 3: THE HIDDEN WORLD" (FEBRUARY 22, 2019).
It's hinted at in the second movie but not really explained that the dragons have human level intelligence, including having their own language that a human can learn. At least, they did in the books. Hiccup could speak the dragon language in the books. I think that Drago, in the second movie, could speak the dragon language. The dragons seemed to react to his yelling as if it were speech. And Toothless definitely seemed to be speaking to the enemy dragon in that movie. Also, there's an animated series that covers the times between the movies. I wouldn't expect you to react to them, but you might enjoy watching them on your own time.
