I have a 2013 Honda Accord EXL Coupe. I did not need to pry open the fender screws. Just used philips screwdriver to remove fog lamp and fog lamp cover. Hope this helps
The glass/plastic fog light enclosure cover is cracked. As in a piece is missing and exposes the bulb inside. It could be due to this that the Foglight stopped working so I didn’t fault the LED bulb.
@@AwkwardHamster Oh I see. But you would have a rough idea of how many years it lasted for you, right? I'm considering to buy this c6 h11 for my Accord and wanted to have a sense of the longevity. Based on that will decide. Other options I have here are osram and Phillips.
I think it lasts 3 years. That’s because I think I changed the Accord and CR-V bulbs around the same time and I now need to change the CRV bulb. The replacement bulb arrived earlier this week. I also used the fog light whenever I use the headlight. Easier to see corners and turn. Intersections by me are not well lit.
In some cars, they need a relay harness to stabilize the current. When the current's not stable the light will flicker. For one of my Honda's I couldn't install high beam LED bulbs because of the unstable current. And I didn't want to spend the extra $10 to get the relay harness.
Connector is the same but I think most folks, including myself, use lower watt bulbs for fog lights. My fog light is in a space without good ventilation. Lower watt is still brighter than halogen bulbs while generating less heat.
That lights are very bad,i bought 2 9005 for my Grand Cherokee 2008 so i just put them on my fog lights and after the second day i went into a big puddle and they stop working, looks like the water went inside the fan : (
its brighter and you have glare....which blinds other drivers, but you and most people that have these on their cars don't seem to know this. Your housing was not meant to be used w these bulbs.
Truthfully it’s a safety hazard... 90% of people aren’t aware of that. You really think it’s as simple as plug and play? Need to have the appropriate housing to house LED/HID.
This is terrible. You need the correct housing for those. You can see in the light comparison on the wall that the LED has a arch or rounded look. This means there is too much light scatter and you are blinding other drivers. You should upgrade to a better halogen bulb or upgrade the fog light housing with the proper projector. A poor mod is a ricer mod.
jeremiah miranda This isnt even related but have you seen projector fog lights they look so sick and work with leds with out blinding oncoming traffic since it has a sharp cut off due to the projector.
+EAGLE___EMPIRE Yea, that sucked. Was more annoyed when I learned the Accords built after mine had that part redesigned so headlight bulb can be easily accessed from under the hood.
Very useful to know about that one screw that lets you push out the side of the bumper!! Saved me from a big headache. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching.
Nice video. Nice narrative to give a few tips as opposed to just filming with no words. Thanks for taking the time to film and share. We'll done.
Thank you
Is that just the fog light or the low beam ?
Looks really bright for it to only be the fog light
thank you so much. I was about to take off the front bumber to replace fog bulb if I do not watch this.
you're very welcome

2013 accord is different from 2008-2012 accord
Hi @AwkwardHamster. Thanks for the video. As a long term usage review wanted to ask you how long did they last since that install?

@@AwkwardHamster Great! All of this helps. Thanks.
Should i check positive and negative before plug in?
Is the procedure the exact same for the 2011 Honda Accord EXL v6
Yes
Did you get them? How long do these last?
H11 fits to 2010 and 2012?
What website did you buy the LED fog light?
what type of bulb did you used for your headlight?
Gracias. No tenía idea de cómo cambiar esa bombilla.

As in changing the complete fog light assembly? I didn’t make that video.
Can I use that fog lights for accord euro 2005? Thanks
Looks cool thanks ima try my Mdx question are you gonna do the headlights as well?
Yes, I changed my headlight bulbs too. ruclips.net/video/VHQZrSh4sqo/видео.html
should you adjust the foglamps after changed into the LED? I see the level light on the wall little bit too high compared to halogen
+Hendri Yahya
No need to adjust the fog lamps if it's seated in the socket properly.
AwkwardHamster i had installed c6 led on my foglamps for 6 weeks, unluckily the right side start blinking and the led was dead...

These lights has just 1 way to plug in. The plug doesn't allow me to reverse it.
Very helpful Thanks.
You’re welcome
the product link shows different kind of led chips than yours.
Very Helpful...Thanks
is it waterproof?

Yes
Would a H11 fog light work as a standard headlight H11?

airs2k Why are you here? If you dislike these bulbs then do not watch this type of video and comment about it.

That leds will not last they are not waterproof specially the fans.
Too much work for fog lights. Headlights and DRL are easier to replace
Wait till you have to replace the high beams...they will piss you off real quick.

Thanks for blinding everyone on the other side of the road, but hey, at least YOU feel safe...
Take wheel off and fender? Lol... My god..
+EAGLE___EMPIRE

Are you sure you cant just turn the wheel?
+EAGLE___EMPIRE
You can turn the wheel. I mentioned that in my video. I also said I'm taking the wheel off so I have more room to shoot the video.
Damn!!! excessive talking bro...go direct to installation! people with cars are not ignorant!
