When I was a kid, I loved pikmin 2. I liked it waaaaay more than the first game. I think I just loved the underground exploration and the treasure collecting, and how the treasures were all human scraps. It was just really awesome for me as a kid. I loved it! This game seems really nice, and as many other people, I really anticipated the release of a sequel after that, though by the time this game came out, I was just so much older pikmin kind of lost its childhood roots it once had for me. This game seems awesome, fruit collecting and all, but I wish it brought back treasures! I loved treasure hunting in the second game! That was what really made that game for me.
I'm 4 years late but yes reds are the best fighters except if you throw rocks its really op but if the rocks are just fighting and haven't been thrown they deal less damage then reds so for bosses I would say use all reds with like 20 rocks to actively throw at the boss also can't wait to play pikmin 3 deluxe

i wish there was a mmo version of this, with thousands of people on a more to scale world, with naturally respawning fruit, and death by complete extinction. to prevent large scale territory wars, 2 people per area. you could bargain with others as a more realistic thing. Such as fruit for pikmin. Also, you could both agree to fight each other over recourses, if you surrender youre day is over. what do you think?

Hey Zack, there is a secret boss in the Distant Tundra that you need to fight if you're planning on getting the best ending. You need at least one other captain and Yellow Pikmin. It it located through the cave that you first find the Yellow Onion and rescued Brittany. There is a ledge that you need to throw a captain up onto with your Pikmin to fight the boss. Go out of the cave and you will find eggs containing nectar and the boss itself.
If you look at your map it pauses the game so you can see any pikmin you've lost. Also I really enjoy your videos i would really like if you posted two of them a day.

This game used to irk me so much that I lost it one day and said, “I don’t care......I’m going to just purposely die here.....” the time ran out as I was far away from the spaceship and Onion that I was then cordially shocked that practically all the pikmin I had survived as the three humans had instantly and magically returned to the spaceship safe like that. I've seen your other videos, I haven't gotten the time to say anything so I thought "eh what the heck I can say something nice about the videos" well I played this game when I was young, I always got frustrated when the red pikmin couldn't swim. Of course I know now the blue are the only ones that can swim. I haven't played this pikmin but I have the other two. From seeing these videos I think I'm going to love it. I know how it feels to lose some pikmin, one time I accidentally lost all 100 I had out in pikmin2. I love the story line to the games so far.
Zack Scott, here's a tip: The highlighted circle around the Drake is the area where if safe Pikmin were left inside, they would be safe and need not be called into the ship. And as for the end of the day, if the Pikmin are following one of your leaders and the day ends, the Pikmin are safe regardless as to how far you are from the Drake. :-)
