Fi blindspot struggles!! Even opinions that are supposed to be based on "feeling" i have to rationalise so its hard for entps (especially if our Fi is undeveloped) to know what to think. Its why many of us debate things because we dont know what to think before hearing others thoughts
I think most INTJs love to have ENTPs/INTPs as friends. It's much different than having them for partners/relatives/coworkers. The biggest problem with having an INTJ for a friend is getting them to care enough for you, or if you managed - dealing with the cringe that would often come out inadvertently.
as a fem ENTP who's friends with 3 INTJs, one of em an irl good friend, can testify lol or that I'm just lucky they're chill enough to handle bs. they like me for asking them questions abt their ideas n goals tho! one of em actly got close enough to barge in and ramble - so yes friendship is possible 👍
Yeah. On one hand, i think intj and entp could be ideal partners. On the other hand, i also recognize that that requires tremendous development, and willingness and ability to just trash hollywood. Extroverted intuition and introverted intuition do not love the sensory and feeling, and a relationship is very sensory and feeling heavy in the traditional sense. They, want to be in a relationship, but do not want to live together, at least on their lips all the time. Living together is quite intense and frequent. In a way, therefore, i do recognize alot of hollywood tropes of young intj's and entp's on the workfloor, having fun times, and wondering... the success of the entp and intj in relationships, is dependent on the willingness and ability of the intj and entp to disregard norms and values of other people. To disregard the narrative that you have been told all your life, is difficult.
As a XNTP, I've had much better experiences with ENFJs than how you are describing them. You described them as "my way or the highway", which is more of an EXTJ (Te dom) trait not EXFJ (Fe dom) trait. I'd much rather have a fake people pleaser as a friend than a closed-minded commander demander(Te doms can get on my nerves sometimes). I suppose if an ENFJ was an enneagram 8 or playing the line of ENTJ, they might be like that though. Generally they are in my better friends or even best friends. Can they be manipulative at times? Sure! However, I have had much better experiences with ENFJs. I think they are generally kind, charming, openminded, and somewhat intelligent. They don't mind deep philosophical talk and are less interested in debate than INXJs (Ni doms), but don't immediately shut debate and discussions down. They want everyone to be heard. Personally my friends for life are XNFJ, other XNTP, and sometimes INTJ (I tend to like Ni, Ne, Fe, and Ti users) Get away from me is ESTJ, ESFP...and IXFPs can be rough too (high Te, Fi, and Se users annoy me) I have liked some INFPs, but many I've had a REALLY hard time understanding. They can ruin Ne with their Fi. They can often passionately support the most illogical nonsense and it drives me nuts especially if they get offended when I question their understanding. They rarely manage to conjure up a good logical argument and continue on offended and won't change their mind. I find it funny that its the ISTJ, ESTJ, ENFP, INFP quadra that I struggle with. ISTJs and ENFPs are usually much better than ESTJs and INFPs though. Its the super high Te or Fi that kill me. In the end, I have liked and disliked people of every type. Other aspects of their personalities and values can highly influence whether I like someone or not. Generally I either slightly like most people or have an indifference to them. It takes someone special for me to REALLY like or hate.

The only two types that can say I never had any bad interaction with are the ENTP, and naturally, my type the INTP. The INFP, is also an excellent type for me to get along with, but know one female INFP that is a bit standoffish, and doesn’t talk to me.
Oh why did you put us in get away from me category? I as an entj am best friends with an entp female( we are so alike in many ways) we hangout for hours every week and we watch movies, psychoanalyze characters in tv shows, and actual people and friends we have in common and why are they dumb. She is a lot kinder than I am with strangers. Definitely more warmer with people, more optimistic and almost child like and has more friends, which I’m trying to do as well(one of many reasons to spend time with her as it grants me access to her circle and it’s more efficient that way to meet more people rather than trying to find people in the wild) She is incredibly sweet and I feel protective over her sometimes because I don’t like how people mistreat her after she has been supportive and some people don’t reciprocate that to her. She backs off from confrontations when things get heated up(especially when she is not drunk) , I on the other hand, rarely gets into arguments but stand my ground and almost never back off from confrontations because I deeply know what I’m standing up for when I do get to that point where I have to argue with someone over something. She is messy and disorganized but it’s tolerable because I think she is brilliant in other categories. Cleanliness is an issue but that’s her problem and it doesn’t affect me so I don’t care. I like her.
For me ENTJ is one of the coolest types and I really like you, guys. Always wanted an ENTJ friend, especially cause I need more motivation and control over my drifting away plans and goals.

My most memorable thing of my INFJ friend is them being attractive but at the same time having low self worth, which makes me deal with so many emotions I hate dealing with. On the other hand, my INTJ close friend although they have self-worth but when they get in a relationship they trash their self worth.. like it's still there with other people but when they're with this one person it's kind of toxic and it's affecting our friendship. Anyway I've interacted with older or more mature Ni and I love it, the best explanation for our interactions it is all over the place and at the same time well collected (?) I just noticed that I've listed the bad parts, but honestly they're the loveliest friends at the moment and we like that we have "free speech"

I know that as an INTP, I find that ISFP’s tend to get too moody and emotional at times for me. They are also not deep enough and not always reliable.
