I have noticed the exact same thing about INTJ’s as an INTP. I have noticed that they tend to get quite annoyed and frustrated if we counter argue, and especially if we point our some of their errors, and become frustrated with our tendency to over explain things. We are always on the lookout for facts and logical consistencies, so it’s just not enough for us to tell us to trust the established data, or information from authorities.
Idk why I'm surprised by how many ENTPs are making content on MBTI. I really enjoy the laid back style of this chanel tho. Every other ENTP seems to be talking in all caps and exclamation points... Appreciated 👏

Im an INTJ female and my husband is an ENTP. Been together almost 15 years so i can keep it real. Best part = SO MUCH shared interest/thoughts/opinions. Worst Part = NO ONE is "sensing" we are both in our heads all the time. We remember no ones bday and we always run out of basic household items 😅 its like we are the same person. I just keep more introverted and actually like to plan things, he loathes it.
That’s a pretty decent way to describe the unconscious goals of an ENFJ, like myself. Ni is very stronk, and when your natural goals align with the gathering of people, this tends to happen. Though it may be because I’m self aware-this isn’t something I pride myself on. I may see something in someone that would be beneficial to me, but also see something I have that is beneficial to them. However, I would moreso pride myself on teaching others communication, creating spaces where people can speak openly with one another, or making some sort of an impact. If I can impact more people, that’s great. But I definitely wouldn’t say I use people and then spit them out, I care much more for genuine connections and friendships, and helping that person find more likeminded people as well. Wouldn’t be friends with someone just because I see them being useful somewhere, they have to vibe. But you’re right-I’ll always try to get you crawling back (If I like you) Anyway I like the video, cool to see ^^
INFJ's are not that boring imo. My best friend is one. Sure his moralistic idealism can sometimes get us into conflict, but it also keeps things spicy, because it really is a masterclass for me in how to make arguments palatable. We both have lots of stuff to talk about, its rarely ever boring, and if it is, than its due to us not having serious overexposure to one and another. Like no matter who you talk to, an ENTP needs a break, so he can get some new things in his head, which he then can jump off of.
This was a great video. Good job making it and EXPLAINING why you put the 16p types where you did. I think this list is pretty accurate. I have a few friends with one of these types (duh) and actually don't get along super great with my ESTP friend. He's fun to be around, but can be a huge jerk who does nothing fun and doesn't care what you think. The only thing I have found them good for is humor. :P Which types do you recommend I hold onto the longest? Friends often drift away (or me 😕) and I need to know who will stick with me the longest. ISTPs for example, might not be the absolute best. Fun to hang out with sometimes, but if they don't want to do something or talk, they just won't. I myself (obviously) am an ENTP, and enjoyed watching this. ;D I'm glad to know you think that we are highly compatible with ENTP (ofcofc theyre the best), ENFP, and ISFP types. Still want to make friends with an ENTJ sometime... Which types are in your family? (im gonna be surprised if your mom's an esfj too. SO hard to be around without being asked to do something am I rihgt?)
Maybe you'll meet more INFJs in the future. I know 2 ENTPs. With one of them, I've had the most interesting conversations. But I can understand what you're saying. It's probably Ne vs Ni.
people just need two things to me engage with them open mind to debates, and not take criticism into the bottom of their heart. and be good persons in general
I'm a year late, but I really need to share this. As an ISFP, I will listen to what you have to say and maybe nod. But, that doesn't necessarily mean that I agree with you. In fact, in most cases, I won't agree with you, but because I am not confrontational, I will not start a fight over this. However, if you bore me once again, I will do everything to avoid you.
I have only met one INTJ in real life, and he is my favourite person, because INTJs just never get offended at anything we say to them, instead they just laugh. I would put INFJ, INTJ and sometimes an INFP or ENFJ as the top tier, and ESFJ and ISTJ as the worst for us.
As an INFJ I really liked your perspective on it cause I feel like many are too enthousiastic about the compatibility of this relationship and your placement is quite fair. To me it's always like a sort of love-hate relationship if you know what I mean. It makes a lot of sense because ENTPs generally seek for debate when INFJs will generally seek for harmony so we basically go in opposite directions in life. So it can feel like we're both disrupting each other's plans. But that's also why I think with maturity it can really make for an interesting relationship if you're curious enough about your opposite way to approach things if that makes sense. Also by discussing we can realize we actually have a surprisingly similar way to see things because of our Extraverted Feeling + Introverted Thinking similarity and I think it makes for very interesting discussions when both can argue enough about the Extraverted Feeling and the Introverted Thinking aspects at the same time to keep the conversation entertaining for both. A critic I've seen from the INFJ side is that ENTPs aren't devoted enough to their plans and can lack direction in life, so I can really see the dominant Extraverted Intuition vs Introverted Intuition pattern in this. But a very good thing is I think we can definitely at least get each other and that's really a plus in my eyes. Also developing the shadow Extraverted Intuition for INFJs and the shadow Introverted Intuition for ENTPs is required to appreciate what the other has to offer I think. I'd say it's probably still a valuable relationship in your life generally speaking but maybe as an occasional friend cause then you don't have to take anything too seriously and there is no pressure at all. I don't know if you're sure the INFJ you knew was a real one but INFJs will tend to be rather cold feelers and probably less succeptible, reactionary and emotional than an INFP overall if you can tell the difference. Just a note about ENFJs, I think you see them as very interested in manipulating you and maybe you see it as more intentional and interested than it actually is cause you can definitely be friend with them and they won't try to utilize you for their own plans. You seemed very on guard when you talked about them, maybe they were very unhealthy ones, I don't know. It's just that of course their Extraverted Feeling will be very present in all they want to do.
OH have you taken these tests?: Enneagram test on Truity along with some others, your strengths (it'll take a few days lol, but it's cool. cool test. You should take it. I understand that all ENTPs are different (ofc :P), but I'm just wondering if any of your strengths are similar. Do you use 16p?
this is interesting. I find your view on the different types to be a bit shallow dont you think? for example, you said that the INFJ and ENTP may not mesh well due to them being too locked into what they want to do with their life, wheres I find that most INFJs ive met are constantly overthinking and getting all existential about where they wanna go in life. I would say we may not mesh well (depending on the person ofc) bc sometimes INFJs have that more narrow Ni thinking that can make us feel restricted and judged if we dont agree with their pov. also how dare you say you like ISFPs but hate ESFPs, ISFPs are so dull and have like no personality where ESFPs are so much fun to hang out and laugh with!!
He also did mention that he's met only one other INFJ in his life (to his knowledge). It makes sense that he wouldn't have much data to extrapolate from, unless he turns to forums. However, I like that he's kept it consistent to his own life, and is using his knowledge of the different types to just fill in the holes. And maybe he'll change his mind later on, who knows? As for your point about INFJs overthinking and experiencing existential dread...yes. I agree, even my INFJ best friend, who is way more stable, mature and grounded than me, is prone to this. It's a constant struggle, but I also think streeturchin had some semblance of truth in his statement. INFJs, for all their struggles, are almost always aiming up in some way. I can see how that could cause friction in a relationship (romantic or platonic) if they're not both on the same page or level.
i enjoy arguing and debating the entjs they always find a logical answer to my debates but i really enjoy anoying them sometimes i use the other people around to turn against them to make them lose the argue i enjoy them so much but im very shure they will put me in the most hated catagory 😅😂
I'm pretty cr@p at talking, especially in English, but I just made a video about how my high school ENTP friend was able to successfully troll me with some random stup!d question or something, which sometimes went too far and it went on my nerves, but thinking about it now it was always kind of fun, well, I think we can do a fair compromise by saying that it was an "annoying fun" type of fun. That ENTP friend of mine told me: Man, you're an enigma! :) I'm an ISFP, that might've been the reason for him saying that to me. I think he thought of me like "Here this weird puzzle, let's poke it, maybe I got something interesting out of it again." and after he thought this, he asked me some weird questions that made me think about him as an enigma, but I never poked at him trying to solve him as some kind of puzzle or something. I was thinking why is he asking all these weird questions, and I think he was probably thinking about me like "Why are his answers are weird? This is kind of fun! Better ask him some more fun stuff!"
Oh, bonus: If you don't know that channel yet, you might be interested in a typology channel run by an ISFJ called: Realities of Typology Seems like a great guy (to me at least, from his videos at least), and not all of his videos are rant-y, but I personally really like his rant-y videos :) (PS. I wish you good luck with your channel, it seems like a fun place (not necessarily the "annoying fun" type of fun place :) )
U know what is funny, i believe my only ex was an istj. And my two best friends are what i believe to be entj and estj. And my sister is an esfp. The only remotely matching highly rated is intp friend. Now i do have an esfp sister, estp mom, and entj father. That compatibility maybe more due to familiarity. That it is just economies of scale. Also, funnily enough, 3 way friendgroups always have different dynamics. I may never have been friends with the entj without the estj and vice versa. I enjoy the stronger Ni of the entj, it makes me have to think less when my thougts are scattered and i probably need the stronger Si just bc my memory sucks. Somehow it jells well together. But yeah, it completely sucks probably in workers setting, but i do believe that they are my strongest assets for if i ever want to achieve global domination. Muhahaha
Okay...hear me out. My best friend is ENTJ. We absolutely HATED eachother as kids. Instant dislike, mutual dislike. Apparently standing up to the lil' shit earned me some respect points. And we became neutral. Then we helped eachother where the other was lacking. It was symbiotic. If we shared an interest then they would push me to pursue it, and I would push them to be smart about it. It's really a fluke of nature that we became friends. I'm very lazy, and they are driven to just do shit....just because. And they totally have psychopath energy. I wont even pretend to deny it. But it works? Maybe it's the nostalgia, or the years of trush exercises...but I can spend days chilling with the guy. He makes me not lazy....and I push his thinking.
That was such a good read! Thanks for writing this comment as this provided an alternative perspective to the audience. I’m constantly surprised by sea urchin’s constant disinterest in being objective about entj*entp compatibility and pairing. I know it works so well because I have had quite a few interactions with entps and in a room full of people, I do gravitate towards them because they hate si as much as I do and being the only extroverted intuitive thinkers, we often come to same conclusions although we take different approaches to get there. I had a similar experience with an entp, initially I saw her overall emotional, unnecessarily argumentative and a little attention seeker( I tend to view Ne users that way) but then we got close because she supported me in a crisis( because we had a common enemy) from then on, we have been talking ever since. We finished that common enemy, destroyed her reputation and became so much closer to the point where we don’t even discuss that common enemy. We talk all day( constantly chatting throughout the day), we share memes, songs, reels, meet up with each other throughout the week, cook together (I do because she cannot cook ) but we enjoy it. I see a lot of potential in this pairing if entps can get over our “psychopathic tendencies “ and actually give us a chance and not discard us after one cold read, they’ll find out that we are actually very warm, nurturing and loyal to the ones we accept into our inner circle. We are ride or die. They will not feel bored around us because we can that intellectual back and forth and are capable of emotional intimacy in a more unconditional way (at least more than intjs)
@@Solarqueenthesoverign And I'm sure you realized very quickly how wrong you were initially about that ENTP. We are the opposite of emotional. We just....what's the word...showmanship. It's an act. We're about as cold as INTPs, but come across as friendly because we like the spotlight. I mean, everyone HAS emotions. But even an ENTJ can respect how much we actually despise emotions. But yea, ride or die is how I feel about ENTJs. And since my ENTJ let's me be myself...without judgement....feeling is mutual. I don't know if it's sad or neat that the myserious ENTP's one real weakness is acceptance. I can say it outloud because no one will take me seriously.
As an INFJ I agree, with ENTP we either hate each other to death (Don't let me start on the arguments that never end) or they're pretty funny, but yeah there's a limit on how much I can handle, after that limit is surpassed the likelihood of getting into a heated argument about something will start, and I hate that. So yeah B or even C tier for me
I can’t stand ESFPs, but I willingly made one my business partner cause the dude wants to invest and does everything I tell him to do without much questioning. We meet once a week and that’s more than enough 🤣
I am an esfp. I am almost getting use to esfp being the most unpopular type in the community. People think we are just shallow business men or beauty queens. We are not just stereotypes🤔 I am not so extroverted. I just love my cat. I am a social worker and I work in a book store. I think this will be my last comment around stereotypes about the esfp. I am just tired of it.
@@streeturchin9707 I having watched the Blacklist for several years and having paid close attention to Red Reddington’s character arch, I can tell you that although he uses direct language and is imitating like one would expect from an ESTJ, he is still far too abstract, too complex of a character and far too future focussed to be as such. Red Reddington is a very strategic, and often focusses very intently on the cards he has in hand, so he can predict the future. He is also a very intelligent and complex individual, whom is very intense, sophisticated with refined taste for food and clothing, which marks the quintessential ENTJ. ESTJ’s on the other hand are don’t have the level of sophistication the way ENTJ’s and are very rarely as cultured as they are but the natural leaders like the way they are. ESTJ tend to micro manage people a lot and enjoy being the boss, and are the most status conscious MBTI type, whilst ENTJ’s are more goal focussed rather than always trying to empress people; and Red Reddington has more the strategic plan, which is to ensure the safety of his family, besides revelling in his end game. In addition Red Reddington is pragmatic and ESTJ’s are not.
@@streeturchin9707 So is it just that ESFPs come across as rude or more annoying? I always thought extroverts would mesh better with other extroverts and vice versa. Like similar energies and stuff
I've met and known a great number of ESFPs. They typically enjoy hearing themselves talk. Not normally about anything particularly insightful either. Also, we shouldn't take the terms "Extrovert" and "Introvert" as the literal definitions. They're simply used to describe how the functions behave in MBTI. Otherwise, people start typing others based on how often they leave the house.
@@streeturchin9707 Yeah i see what you mean. I have a friend who is convinced she must be an INFP because she doesn’t “feel” like an extrovert whereas it’s pretty obvious as soon as she opens her mouth that she leads with Ne. And then she has a friend who she thinks is an ENFP because she’s very loud and unfiltered, but this girl does not use Fi in any responsible way and it just consumes her entire life. Real main character syndrome. Every time I see her I cringe cuz I’m like “omg is that how I come across?” cuz I’m also an INFP lol
@@streeturchin9707 agreed on ESFPs, they are too much usually - too loud, always want attention, need to be entertained in understandable for them manner every second, too drama queen and too egotistical. Have ESFP friends and they can be nice and fun sometimes but in general they tire and bore me out too quickly plus they take everything to heart.
ISFJ/ISTJ are off limits. Reason being their Si dom function is an orderve before the main course meal for my Se demon. I believe all personalities can work except those two.
Absolutely not! Us INTP’s love ENTP’s, and they don’t get angry at us like the way INTJ’s do. ENTP’s at least will engage in intellectual and philosophical conversations with us, whilst the INTJ’s will either change the subject, or become restless
I'm an istj and I confirm that I like to describe everything with a lot of details. I don't agree on the second point, I do debate the subject, but only if it's interesting to me. If not, I wouldn't bother either Also agree about enfj, they get along with everyone. It scares me sometimes
@@streeturchin9707 their fi is much more prominent and exaggerated too. Its almost like the two are different types. Females seem to exhibit more secondary infp whereas the males are more secondary intp. Similar for male vs female infps, the nfps exhibit the largest gender differences in my experience
My belief is that your preference for functions determines their location on the stack. Regardless of gender. If an Enfp's preference for introverted feeling is higher than it's preference for extroverted iNtuition, then they were an INFP. I've also met and confirmed an ENFP female and was strikingly similar to 2 ENFP male family members. Rest assured, female INFPs are different from the female ENFPs.
@@RyuMasterEXTi is in a blind spot for enfps so all of them will be pretty much awful at using it regardless of gender lol. So it would be really difficult for them to sort of mask as an intp. Fi can seem pretty similar to Ti sometimes and Te can be somewhat similar to Ti. Men and women are socialised differently so it makes sense that female enfps may be more comfortable in expressing their Fi, but that doesn’t mean the male enfps have less of it. They just might try to suppress it more cuz they think they should be more objective and Te based. Or someone might misinterpret their Fi as Ti cuz they automatically assume men will be thinkers. Same problem for thinking women.
I enjoy INTJs but for a while short, they refuse to see other perspective even when you dump facts on them
My favorite part is when they laugh instead of explaining themselves.

"Why are his answers are weird? This is kind of fun! Better ask him some more fun stuff!"
Oh, bonus:
If you don't know that channel yet,
you might be interested in a typology channel run by an ISFJ called:
Realities of Typology
Seems like a great guy (to me at least, from his videos at least),
and not all of his videos are rant-y,
but I personally really like his rant-y videos :)
(PS.
Muhahaha
I love intj's especially when they get triggered
So yeah B or even C tier for me
Perhaps a visit from time to time.
I’m an entp female moms an infj and I get so enthralled in a topic I start pushing/intruding on her on accident and then door slam 😂🤣
I'm pretty jealous.
@@tayaboyles1433 that's not very funny, be careful to not make her too angry
I can’t stand ESFPs, but I willingly made one my business partner cause the dude wants to invest and does everything I tell him to do without much questioning. We meet once a week and that’s more than enough 🤣
I don't keep them in my presence for long.
@@KathrineMarie4 xD "the most unpopular", "beauty queens" etc yeah, you seem to be an ESFP, so over-dramatic and inflated ego check.
Literally ENTP me: ESFP’S SUCK
Way better than isfj tho
B is pretty good
It's not bad
Red Reddington is actually an ENTJ, not an ESTJ. Lol
He's actually an ESTJ, not an ENTJ =D
What do you think it is with ESFP vs ISFP that causes an ENTP to have such contrasting impressions of them?
ISFPs talk less, listen more.
As an ENTP, thanks man.
No one likes us LOL 😂
Sure they do! Then they get to know us.
Absolutely not! Us INTP’s love ENTP’s, and they don’t get angry at us like the way INTJ’s do. ENTP’s at least will engage in intellectual and philosophical conversations with us, whilst the INTJ’s will either change the subject, or become restless
I think you don't have good experience with INFJ and dont knew enough to rank. Also ISFP one was not articulated enough
Totally agree with ENTJ description 🤣
Well … I’m a huge fan of the Blacklist
It was pretty fun to watch for a while.
I'm an istj and I confirm that I like to describe everything with a lot of details. I don't agree on the second point, I do debate the subject, but only if it's interesting to me. If not, I wouldn't bother either
Also agree about enfj, they get along with everyone. It scares me sometimes
I hope you find some things you like on the channel!
hey im entp and my brother is enfp. just like you
You need to meet more intutives! You are missing out!
I typically point them out over the past 10 years. They're just not very common.
Female enfps are very different to males
I agree. Different sex organs.
Lmao, I’m surprised you have infjs at a lower spectrum since I usually see them and entps get together.
I don't usually see them at all. I see and hear a lot of mistypes though.
