I (entp) met a male ENTP the other night for the first time and we had the most amazing discussions for hours and hours, I have never felt so understood-it was like speaking in to a mirror. Shame we were both flying to opposite ends of the earth two days later. But what a whirlwind those days were. It was simple, straight forward, stimulating and extremely exciting. Highly recommend. More on ENTPS pls!
Lol sounds good. When I meet other ENTPs at parties one of has to back down or we both humiliate the other. He said I was "embarrassing myself" for pushing him so hard on a particular question. On the other hand, I said that what made sense about him being an ENTP is that they are known as assholes.
I'm an ENTP female and my partner is INTJ male. Noone has explained our compatibility as accurately as this video. 'We can move quickly together,' 'I understand how you feel and you understand how I feel,' 'I can take my mask off and be my real self.' YES! We are both very future and improvement oriented and NEVER fight because we speak logically together. It's THE DOPEST. Any one else find this magical puzzle-piece synergy?
Marissa T same partnership here. We are 15+yrs in and I got him to a point where he feels having a heated argument can be therapeutic without holding grudges. I enjoy this as much as the fact that I got us there. Our rational/logical discussions are amazing too..❤️
Same. I'm ENTP female and my ex and current bestfriend is an INTJ. We broke up because of conventional reasons. It was the best relationship i ever had.
I`m an INTJ male and now I'm looking for a girl to marry instead of just date I tend to attract ENTP females a lot. Heard it's good compatibility but apparaently for us INTJ's the relationship with ENFP is supposedly better for all the love making, fighting, making up and long term growth. INTJ/ENTP might be a bit too comfortable not allowing for that much personal growth. But we'll see.
I'm an ENTP with a small T preference, and my wife of ten years is an INFJ with a slight F preference . She's also 18 years older than I. Some observations: 1. She understands that I often times (let's be real, I don't remember on purpose) forget about important and tedious tasks like paying bills. She takes care of almost every detail like that, knowing that if she didn't our credit would be AWFUL. She never nags me about these things. Every other s/o I've ever had could not stand this about me. She actually gets a great deal of fulfillment from making me happy. 2. We can sit there and have high-quality debates for hours and hours. INFJs seem to have a genuine curiosity not unlike us ENTPs, though the way they think through issues is different. She tends to rely much more on her own experiences than the abstract, and it is more difficult to change her mind. I find this exhilarating, because every once and a great while I'll change her mind on the spot, and there is no better feeling. I was a U.S. Army interrogator, and my wife is the most worthy opponent I've ever come across. I help her to stem some of her emotional impulses when it comes to decision making, and she helps me to see a more human angle to every problem. As the oldest of four, I'm often giving advice to my younger siblings, and she can point out where I might communicate better by being more aware of the emotions they might be going through. 3. She is very sensitive! Even though she knows my intentions are never bad, I do hurt her feelings rather frequently. I feel this is kind of a curse that ENTPs live with. Our saving grace is that I am always immediately apologetic and I take positive steps to make sure I don't hurt her feelings the same way twice. Of course I fall short, but she knows the effort is there. She is extremely loyal, and is the only person in the world I completely trust. Never any thoughts that she would cheat on me, or betray my confidence. I've known a couple of INFJs in my time, and they are the type of people who can keep a secret, and would help you bury the body if you're one of their people. 4. She can see past my BS. I lie a lot, for a lot of the reasons you've outlined in this and other videos about ENTPs. I can't lie to her, but if I try, and she catches me (which she usually does), she just kind of gives me "the look." Most of those lies are of the little white lie variety, so it's never any hard feelings from her. She just knows it's who I am. She can't believe how often I get away with my lies in public. 5. She knows that even though I can seem cold, I have really strong feelings and a much more thought out moral code than most. Just because my sense of morality is ever evolving does not mean I am devoid of one. I believe that circumstances are always changing, and what might seem absolutely moral today could be much more ambiguous given more wisdom and a better data set. She gets that. Most don't. Just wanted to add some more anecdotal observations to the discussion. Thanks for the content!
Can you show me how you arrived at that? I've kind of just fallen down this rabbit hole a couple of days ago, and have found some sources that rank our compatibility at #1 for ENTP, and some that rank at #3. Some have stated (by my estimation through anecdotal first-hand experience) that we are completely incompatible. I can see why some would say that, because if my INFJ didn't have such a highly developed Ti I don't know if we would get along all that well. She's a very rational, albeit more practical-minded person. Also, at the beginning of our relationship, I don't think most would have had the patience to put up with me for any length of time. If not for the structure of the Army in my youth, even my INFJ with the patience of a saint probably would have left me. I've gotten better at doing the small things that she places so much importance on, but she still knows she super has to compensate. She just appreciates the effort. Thanks again, and keep coming with the good content organized in such a digestible format. Not a lot of people speak with your precision of language. I only listen to you at 2x instead of the usual 3x!
I use infjs as friends ,, or fwb ,, because they dont relent they are so slow to adopt and they are sensitive ,, they try to have and execute perfect plans ,,,, sex ,friendship and logic is good with them but thats it ,, they aren't submissive women which make em.ugly to me
ENTP x ISFP marriage really is cool. entp guy was always so much in love with isfp girl and always busy telling the world how much he loves her and lives for her. I always felt jealousy
Naif Romeli I totally get hypochondriac. Tooth ache, neoplasm! Headache, cerebral vascular accident! Chest pain, myocardial infarction! Tinnitus, neurological malfunction. And the list goes on. Working on mindfulness and optimism in body functions and seeming malfunctions.
Alpha Wolf It's all coming from your mind it's the cause of many problems , meditation and affirmation as well as working out is a must for me. I learned that the hard way .
Naif Romeli I actually know working out is a key but to actually get myself to do it in recent times, so not easy. Day by day. Takes people like you showing me the way. Enough evidence and it will be instilled. Headed out for a long walk. That’ll get my body going and ole ty of time to think!!!! :) my favorite
Alpha Wolf To me it became a lifestyle actually even though entp have a bad reputation when it comes to discipline and commitment but I did it for more than five years and I will continue to do so what really helped me to commit is the fact that I'm into bodybuilding i love it to death that's the main reason that gets me going , I think you should find a sport that you really into and you can't wait to do more and more of it .
Love the entp and intj relationship because I’m in one right now and it’s nothing like I ever experienced. Everything you said is true and have similar stories to explain the way it works. The positives are soooo positive but we do get in holes that we will never get out of unless we just give up because we are tired. But these issues just are forgotten about afterwards anyway.
My days man. 1 second in and from that whiteboard I know I’m about to receive some in-depth criminal investigation on the possible suspects that are compatible with the ENTP.
I'm the lucky one ENTP who won the MBTI lottery... I found super intelligent and super cute INTJ girl 5 years ago... Hell yeah, best five years of my life, and it keep going :D
@@CSJoseph I already engaged her, but the thing is neither of us care much about the wedding. Its like a pain in the ass to organize, and more importantly not the ring keep us together.
Just met an ENTJ girl and despite people saying ENTJ and ENTP dont go well together, we are spending so much time talking about intellectual stuff. We love each other's approaches and respect them. It fits so nicely.
I'm an INFP, my husband is an ENTP (I feel like I really understand your personality..ha) anyways, I'd love if you talk about the compatibility of these two types.
I love this video. I'm an ENTP WAHMEN with an INTJ man, and everything you described about ENTP + INTJ relationships... hit the nail on the head. I can't get over how scarily accurate it was, it was all things I've noticed about our relationship prior, but didn't realize it was this directly tied to our functions.
As an ENTJ I love ENTPs. They are my favorite partners in crime. I enjoy ENTPs the most for any type of relationship. I want to share every experience with them and know what they think about everything. They are super smart, caring, they give me great wise insight, and I love how honest they can be. The major conflict between our types is that ENTPs are triple movement and process focused while the ENTJ is triple control and outcome focused. These types can frustrate and disrespect each other with their different ways of approaching their systematic pragmatic approach. The good thing is once the ENTJ realizes the ENTP is uncomfortable and the ENTP realizes the ENTJ feels bad they support and help each other feel better and more comfortable. I feel like these types need each other in a society where we are so misunderstood and relatively different.
I love it! I'm na ENTP and this vídeo helped me understand more about myself. Also, loved your humor, so good to find someone that think the same as you do and are capable of truly see your point of view.
Every time I watch the same video I catch different details! lol I love INTJs and ENTJs they really do just naturally get along well with me and there’s no effort or mask needed it’s crazy I can actually let my guard down and be my hypomanic self
I find it sad, honestly. Being dependant of ones approval and once they are done with you, they leave. Same for INTJs who cant trust ENTPs because of their trust issues. It's suposedly a golden pairing, but I can't picture a relationship between the 2 where neither of them is being controled, paranoid or outright miserable.
I'm confused, I'm an ENTP and my best friend is an ISFJ, We are very VERY different when you look at us separately, but somehow we work together too well, we get along beautifully, we've been friends for seven years already and I'm incredibly loyal to her as she is to me, we both are very understanding and open about the way the other thinks or feels. I would love to meet an INTJ, I really like the way you describe it.
@@CSJoseph Yes, I know. another friend of mine got 3 different answers. The test was an influence at the beginning, of course, I wanted a push in a close direction at least; But everything I've seen (and shown to her) about ISFJ seems accurate, she relates to a lot of it. I think it's safe to say that our connection was not instantaneous, our relationship was built trying to understand the other. We admire in each other the qualities we don't have or the ones we are weak on.
I also have ISFJ best friend for 15 years. We had ups and downs, we had times of separation in our growing up period, but made it through. Also have ESTJ female friend with a similar friendship hystori. For some reason, us ENTPs like difficult relationships.
Any type can get along with other types. It just requires different method at first, and your experience may be the result of some situations that rarely occur to most ENTP-XSXX relationship. My mom is an ISFJ and we do not get along very well.
You mentioned in your video about ENTPs that we must seek failure (and I totally agree and have learned that already too) and the more failure we have the more our Si will feed that into our Ne which will allow us to strategize contingency plans consciously and intuitively which we then try and fail again and so on until we master a process. I noticed here you said women should approach NTPs because of our Se demon but you’re not considering that if you were to approach hundreds of women then eventually you would become very good at it. That’s what I did and my approach is pretty damn good now. You’ve given me so much value so I had to give something back. I paused at 9.49 so I’ll have to keep listening now and will likely be spamming all your videos in the near future. I already have about 5-10 questions I want you to deeply think about because my Ti found a few logical fallacies but overall it’s so godly I don’t want you to think I’m saying this to be like muahahaha I know more than you. If you’re an entp you will appreciate another entp who has also read Jung, tripped, lucid dreamed, etc. I’d love to skype with you and bounce ideas.
Funny. I'm Female ENTP married to a male ISFP for almost 13 years. Didn't know that could be common. Would love to see a more in depth analysis of that. Nice to see if I'm missing anything.
Finally someone has touched upon this in a way that makes sense to me. Im a female ISFP and my most interesting romantic relationships have been with ENTP males. Other forums/videos generally focus on how incompatible the two types are. Looking forward to hearing more analysis on the various relationship dynamics between the two!
malina1love there is a eoman in my isfp group eho is married over 20 years to entp. it amazes me, because I dated an entp, and though I have great willingness for connection and Sam told I'm a great listener, it was obvious we used such different functions. We continually"missed" each other when conversating.
I’m entp female. I’m divorced but was married to an ISFP. We were very different from each other, but it was a lot of fun and most of the relationship was happy.
In a relationship with an INTJ - nodding to EVERYTHING, except for the fashion comment. I have a keen sense for fashion and style - I see what you mean about the INTJ formula and I see it in him - dressing by a code for what the occasion calls for - but, for me, I dress for me and it just come intuitively. Everyone thinks I’m the “fashionista” that’s always overdressed - I just have a knack for it and somehow it works and people look to me for forward, unique, and chic style to strive for. Also, everything you said resonate so much. First bf was ISFP, friends I admire and get along with the most are ENTJs, I have a lot of ESFPs in my life even though we fight like cats and dogs - they teach me to be in touch with my emotions and not be afraid of them. And the INTJ... I’ve never felt so understood and in sync with someone in my life. Thank you for this video, this is beyond!
Why no INFJ on there. Everyone says ENTP/INFJ is the match of all matches. I had this relationship for three years, and it was the most significant of my life. The intimacy was transcendent. In the end, I felt like she wanted to parent me, or control me. I brought her some very important truths. She wanted to pretend that they were just "my truths," when we all know the kind of truth I'm speaking of her. I brought her the truth with a capital T, and she rejected it in favor of whatever life narrative was most pitiable to her, or probably more accurately which ever version of truth she needed to meet her own pragmatic goals. They were really not truths at all, just conventions that allowed her maximum social advantage and didn't threaten her larger than life ego.
lol i am married to an ISFJ. it is super difficult but i think it had helped me with the moral compass and become mature. it isn't as difficult now but wow i don't know how we stayed together so long but it works for us. she definitely challenges me and keeps me on my toes with my crazy thoughts and can run my crazy theory past her regardless if she understands or not because i feel like she is how majority of regular people are and so it helps me deal better in the world with people.
ENTP woman married to an INFJ man, for 28 years. It’s a match made in heaven. We married each other before we knew anything about MBTI. I think we get along great.
I take of my mask with other entps I understand them fully and they understand me I don't have to adjust my behaviors for them I just be and that makes the relationship very easy I don't have to do anything other than being myself That's my experience.
My experience exactly. I just know, regardless of how much of a jerk they might be. No two people are similar enough for “redundancy” however. So I think it can work as a friendship or a romantic relationship even. Maturity is key though.
ISTJ here. Have an ENTP friend. He is a very good guy, I think. Sometimes he has just some random information, so I can hear something new from him and sometimes interesting or useful. I love this unemotional thing in him, because I am sure I can be too hard for people sometimes(Fi child, meah), but he doesn't really seem to be offended on me. Also I like that I can always say something guffy and weird to him, which somwtimes goes in my mind, but he will not criticize me for that. The other thing is Ti.Respect all TPs for their sense of the truth and the wrong especially in arguing. I confess, that you are the best people in arguing(guess IxTPs better in this than ExTPs, but ok🙂). But I really don't like this Si inferior on him, he is too bothered by the past experience he had. As Si hero I understand, that the past is the past and the best thing is to learn patterns and respect the experience in you past. What about Te critic... Yeah, he kinda think he is the smartest in the world, but I don't mind. This is the stupid thing I have too, so I try to beat it. So, as I said, I love this Fi trickster, it is wonderful. And I lack practical experience and be in the now, so don't mind about his Se demon. What about Ne dominant? I don't like it, honestly. I know him for about 8 months, but I still think he kinda share his fake views, like just choosing the best future variant and go with it, don't thinking about did he show his true or fake point of view
I'm an ENTP woman married with an ENTJ man. He is the only man (and I dated alot) who had the courage to handle my crazyness and "put me in a marriage situation" :)))
31:40 How different substances affect the cognitive functions is an extremely interesting topic. I bet it would get a lot of views, too. Definitely looking forward to that being covered!
Instead of complaining, and asking for advice when I know I'm too cheap right now to pay for it, I will offer an anecdote about a potential INTJ I (an ENTP) encountered. I sat next to this beautiful girl in my Lab class this semester. She was smart, and showed clear interest in learning the material. She was wearing a cast, and her injured leg was propped on my intended chair when I walked over to her. She felt bad she had obstructed my seat and quickly freed it for me. Then, she began saying that people wouldn't like her now...because her cast wasn't pretty and she got in people's way walking in the hall! I tried to comfort her, "everyone knows that they would be in the same position as you if they had an injury, and how your cast looks doesn't matter as long as it works". My reassurances seemed to help put her more at ease, and they made me feel like a caring human, as CS mentioned about FE=>FI. I've loved her ever since. It is not a creepy obsessive love, but it is the first time I've met a girl in real life that made me feel that way. I haven't talked to her since then, but, I got her phone number by coincidence before that happened. Many, many things could go wrong, but I may just find some excuse to text her...
was gonna tell you that you are a genious but you already know it and you know its not that fun. Fucking hell what a drinking and talking session you and i could have. ENTP to the square salutes you.
I'm an entp In a relationship with another entp and we go together very well... We always know what each other are thinking and wants so my case may be an exception to your rule
I (INTJ female) met my best friend (ENTP male) at work (lifeguards) and we got along great. He's definitely a sociopath, boardering machiavellian in all honesty, still he's great. I don't exactly trust him 100% but he's interest in Nietzsche has built some trust between us. I dated an ENTP female philosopher. She was a train wreak. Oh my god. She was an absolute shit show. She was so prideful and always so quick to debate which is great and all but not when I just wanna go get sushi. Trying to plan dates with her took hours. She was too prideful to ask me out. But these are the only females I can get along with. We had a 3 person female group, we all shared the same name. As you can imagine, having a friend group with ENTJ, ENTP, and INTJ females got interesting fast. So ENTP had a thing for me, my obviously ass had no idea frankly I thought she hated me because she was so combative and ALWAYS having to start or be the 'original' of everything. Eventually ENTJ told me ENTP was being too prideful to show and said she liked me. First time in my life I decided to ask her out because clearly she needed me to. Everything was a debate. Because she challenge me on absolutely everything I could never feel comfortable with her. I was always on the defense she did some super questionable things that eventually made me cut her off. Now before you say I jumped the gun, there was video evidence. We dated maybe 4 months, worst 4 months of my life. Never thought I could be so uncomfortable around someone I'm so compatible with. In the end I told her she needed some Buddhism in her life (3 prideful distortions and 3 marks of existence). Haven't dated an ENTP since. Frankly it left a really sore taste in my mouth towards ENTP women specifically (can't write off male ENTPs i.e. my best friend). I doubt a lot of my personal growth so I'm not sure how accurate it is but my professors say I'm on the wiser side of my personality. I don't like flattery since I know 100% that goes straight to my ego and that false sense of self importance pops up to get me in trouble. But I do think I fall more on the wise side. Learning not to give into the superego an burn bridges has been the hardest lesson to learn but Buddhism kicked my ass and really taught me for to limit expectations especially for others. Her and I ended up mending things over the years when she finally let me have my day in court and I ripped her to shreds about her behaviour towards me how they made me feel. I was surprised she apologized and recently she's been working pretty hard to convince me to try out the club (once COVID-19 is over we're both asymptomatic) so we'll see how well she can manipulate me into going lol. Still don't trust her, but I think INTJs really need to learn how to forgive and having a long term memory this is EXTREMELY hard for me because I can remember how people fuck me over. But you know, trying to have faith in humanity. She was immature and a nasty bitch to me but she's human like EVERYONE else. She made a mistake and I think she deserves the opportunity to make up for her shitty behaviour. This takes a lot out of me to even do this but it's the morally right thing to do haha. I don't think her and I will ever date again, but I'm willing to be friends. ENTPs are really a hit or miss. There's tons of them here in Canada. INFPs are the most common here. There's absolutely no escaping the INFPs here. Especially male INFPs. But working in law ENTPs are everywhere. My clients are lawyers and doctors. A lot are ENTPs there's just no escaping ENTPs here in Canada lol. Gotta learn to live with them.
I live in Canada and I am an ENTP, I doubt you'd be able to tell just based of description. I have crippling social anxiety and you will definitely mistake me for an introvert. Furthermore my INTJ partner and I barely ever debate. I strongly think that you are labelling everyone that is argumentative and extroverted as ENTP. That may be so on the internet but in real life unless the ENTP is under 25 that is definitely not the case. Most ENTP's over 25 are almost always quiet in the beginning and (innocent) bubbliness after getting to know them. Some blunt joke can shine through at random times. It's definitely NOT debating 24/7, I'm too busy with my business and researching other business ideas to debate with people. That phase of the ENTP is only amplified during school and university time because that environment fosters debate and we have nothing else to do except take in information and talk about it. I will only chime in if I know for a fact the other person is a) wrong b) is engaging in severe injustice or judgement when it is not warranted c) they are my friend and the said action they are about to do will cause them a lot of trouble in life. I do not know anything about male ENTP's but I have several female ENTP acquaintances and friends, the last word I would use for us is Machiavellian. I can theorize about how to win but do I have enough grit or emotional contempt to carry through being truly Machiavellian? NO. That is a either a J trait or a Ni function, which I lack. ENTP's are very misunderstood we theorize, we are blunt and we are open but do we have agendas? NO. We are the types that are most likely to get taken advantage of our lack of Fi awareness. We have a radiant positive energy that truly wants the best for the ones around us. I think if an INTJ gets close enough to a healthy and mature ENTP they would never let us out of their site. We are one of the only types that an INTJ will truly be comfortable trusting. My INTJ barely even trusts his own siblings let alone strangers. I'm the only one he comes to for real, non-judgmental, objective, non agenda based, logical opinions. People often mistake ENFP's for being loyal and trustworthy but they are primarily concerned with themselves and their own feelings. You will never have to worry about that with an ENTP. Anyway, now that you are older maybe your experiences will change once you let us in a little more instead of leaning into a past experience and judging a new person in a split second through the lens of what happened in the past. That can really cloud judgement and lead to mistyping (my past ENTP was loud and argumentative so all loud and argumentative people must be ENTP).
Is it possible to live in the shadow INTJ for a long period of time? During my whole highschool I used to type as an INTJ, but ever since I got rid of the stress it generated, I got "unchained" and get typed as an ENTP and, tbh, I feel like an ENTP. Can that be the case or am I missing something?
Ah so from what I've gathered over the past few days: ENFP + INTJ = positive intimate relation compatibility ENTP + INTJ = positive friend relation compatibility
Thought provoking. In my experience thus far, my favorite connection companion is ENTP and it was quite mutual. Thousands of hours of conversation haha. Even after a time lapse, it was like "no time passed at all." Did I miss a piece of information that explains why NFJs aren't on the chart? Great content and cause. 👍
For me I take care of my style alot as an entp because I don't feel comfortable wearing something that doesn't look great for a particular event , it's coming from an si,fe place not from an se,ni place .
I'm an entp married to an intp... together 16 years... 3 kids... we're best friends. Not gonna lie... it hasn't always been this easy. Luckily we're both super introspective and don't need a lot of intimacy. The hardest thing we've had to deal with is his jealousy which can be borderline paranoia. He's an engineer/inventor and I'm an entrepreneur among other things so we get excited about project planning and are constantly thinking about the future. He's also a great ground for me... I'd have spiralled out of control years ago if it weren't for him. I don't think I finished a single project until we'd been together for a couple years and now I complete nearly every project I start. If you can stick it out... you'll grow from a relationship like this more than any other :)
this is so awesome - its exactly what hepen when i dated an INTJ (best crush, long story). contracts everything. it makes sense. all of it! note(typed the next part at 32:14 and it was like.... oh ye YES thats the same thing i realized) BUT sadly INFJ are pretty rare met in social life. THIS SUCKS so my chances to meta a new INTJ is pretty low. world sucks at this point.
I had an entp friend who once told me they weren’t hungry at the time and didn’t want any chocolate biscuits. Since they hadn’t had lunch yet I still took the biscuits and thought ‘oh you know maybe they might want some later’. When I gave them to her she got super mad at me and said ‘I told you I didn’t want any!!’ And I had no idea how she was so mad. Now I get it bc she has Si inferior and Si inferior insecurity.. thanks for the helpful vid!
ENTP Female Nurse Practitioner medical specialist provider enjoying a fantabulously fun loving and adventurous Male ENFP high school pole vault coach professional - We are both mature 60 year olds and divorced - I can’t imaging a better match ! Would live insight into how our functions give and take - seeking couple empowerment as well as optimized individual potential 💛 - Thank you for sharing your ENTP genius which empowers my ENTP potential!
So impressed he went and boned up on his grammar. When I find a hole in my knowledge I rush to fill it, even if it is hard for me. Hello quantum biology. I dont know where this comes from, I am an ISFP and no one describes us like this. Maybe as you get older you lean into your weaker functions, this would be thinking for me.
Tried a relationship with an ENTP but it wasn't able to work for us (I'm an INTJ). Anyway, I will perhaps try and experiment this potential with more ENTPs, if possible, and see if I can better form a deduction.
My INFJ mom does the exact same thing about trying to change people’s wardrobe lmao 🤣!!! It’s too bad I have Si trickster who barely appreciates it. I gotta learn to thank her more.
Yup female ENTP here and my ISFP hubs was one of the only dudes in my 20’s who could let me be myself. INTJ men in my circle for some reason acted like they’d run into sandpaper when they met me. I think they had this idea that they were supposed to be with an ESFJ or ISFJ or INFJ or some other feeling type and so they were allergic to me or something, I don’t know. Most of them ended up with F’s.
ENTP's "Demonic experience." Lol. That was indeed funny xD. Great and informative lecture as usual! Thanks.. for the demonic experience of this video (pun intended).
ENTP here just wondering I know about all the cognitive functions but why would an ESFP and ISFP be more compatible then an INFJ in a long term romantic relationship? ESFPs are very fun to be in social circles but I could definitley never see romantic interest in them and I might have bias from growing up with an ISFP Brother all my life but ISFPs are just way to sensitive for me! Example: this girl that I grew up with an a small private school claimed she was vegan in middleschool and immediatley started telling me im a bad person for eating meat or animal products. I rebuttled with an argument about the morality of eating meat and she got super triggered just by the logic. I proceeded to make small jokes through middleschool about veganism and even suggested in front of the entire class that we donate some cows to a foreign country for them to eat and get milk from. I admit I might have been a little insensitive to her but she attacked me as a person for eating food. I never cared about it we never were in contact through highschool but now we share friend groups and I am around her often. She still holds the grudge and uses it as a reason to not respect me and she proceeds to try to belittle me every moment.
Entp here. I have a friend who is an ISFJ. She is so boring all small talk and no big ideas. I strongly agree with the morality side of them she was a very traditional catholic girl. She also loved going on volunteer work and helping people. I don't think that ISFJ are bad people but they are naïve and can get into trouble with trusting people too much.
I went from sleeping in the streets after failing miserably in my studies and university, destroying myself to death...to become a executive director at a Stock listed flagship fintech in the most demanding jurisdiction. ENTP roller coaster. Its like having an F1 Ferrari and no driving license. You can be really fast but you can crash anytime.
I'm an ENTP. My best friend is an INTP. Among all the people I met, the most amazing ones always turned out to be INTPs. Favorite fictional characters are usually ENTPs. I also have a crush on an ESFJ and I think we have a lot of fun together? Dunno I'm fucked
@@CSJoseph hey, thanks for your reply man. You got some really awesome content. I especially like the social engineering ones. If I wasn't as lazy as I am, I would have watched them all by now, but I will in time. Really useful stuff. Anyway, as for me and my friends, we all tested multiple times. Also, I do realize all the pitfalls in our relationship that you mention. All of us being NTPs, we're not emotionally attached to each other at all. Our relationships are only held together with trust, respect and some sort of loyalty. We all appreciate more the fact that we got someone as smart to talk to about our ideas and business plans than to have emotional support and whatnot. I do get annoyed sometimes that they don't care about what I have to say though haha they can be very indifferent about some of my ideas. By the way, does IQ affect MBTI type? Like, a 100 IQ ENTP and a 156 IQ ENTP (no matter which scale). Will they behave the same? Maybe you can do a video on it if it's a long answer. And generally the relationship of IQ and MBTI. Good luck bro. Cheers!
ESTPs are my fav ppl. I feel like they are our twins just little more realistic. And they give me a lot of nice experiences that i want. Fi people are difficult for me but i like INTJs. Their Fi is decent and Ti quiet strong.
@@AlexG-jm7cd if people are conscious about this topic, and they work on themselves, they can use all functions. I know intjs with Ti that is not that bad.
@@zenzpsem The basic fundamental law of MBTI is that there are some fucntions that you are good and bad at. Everyone has 4 sides of mind: ego, subconscious, shadow, and superego. Your natural functions are the ones in the ego stack, shadow is your reversed version of yourself which only comes unconsciously. You can not control the Shadow. Ti is in INTJ's shadow stack, they can not control/use Ti. Maybe you should look to the correct definition of mbti and not just agreeing with everything you read on an astrology page (issa joke).
It’s seriously bad. I’ve heard it described as one of the worst pairings possible. That certainly lines up with my experiences as an ENTP with many ISFP family members. They take the sarcasm way too personally. This video is too theoretical for my liking. Deeper connections with somebody require “camaraderie.” I guess that’s why it’s easiest to get along with INTPs and other ENTPs, for me at least.
Ethan McDonald it all boils down to maturity. But few people are willing confront much less question their own maturity levels given the amount of humility it requires.
my isfj mom was always made me (an entp) cringe because social justice. most of her interactions with others (still bothers me even if i am not involved) were about finding who did the wrong thing (there’s always something) by questioning everyone and this would cause suspense and tension for me, btw my dad (esfj) our whole relationship was a covert contract with me constantly putting off my side of the deal because i just didn’t care or didn’t have the guts to tell them that i just don’t like either of them like at all
This is all very enlightening. As a matter of fact, I have already devised my five all-star team for a clean energy startup. A Co-founder ENTP to do most of the talking to investors to get funding; three INTPs to do the details in engineering and modeling, and me as a Co-founder and CTO devising engineering plans and business development (INTJ). Yes, I may be in triple-movement mode thinking ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , but I don't care. I didn't get my engineering degrees for nothing.
O.K, so, I always love to go to Starbucks or whatnot or even the library at my uni for ambiance . Even if I am alone, I dress up, put my makeup on, even if I am just wasting my time on the Internet. My uni had a strike and I was unable to do any work at home, like, cero, for two weeks, I kid you not... no ambiance, no work. I could work only when I was around my INFJ classmate when she visited me. Btw, I secretly hope that a person will come up to me and ask me something about what I'm doing. ANYTHING. I go about, looking mysterious with a book or something. So far, it has never happened. I do this thing too where I put my black hoodie to cover my forehead while I eat, scanning the room. I also take walks on my faculty, little promenades, in the busiest halls, just random walks, to see if I get people's attention. Is this a thing?
I’m an ENTP but I seem to be ok doing new things and stepping out of my “comfort zone”, and actually enjoy and embrace it sometimes too. Would that just be because the zone of what I’m comfortable doing is very wide? Because I agree and relate to the example of hating other people to order random things for me at a restaurant if I don’t want to, and me being terrible at making good first impressions unless I really try seems like an Se demon thing. Also even though I’m a teenager, I can relate to the bit you said about being a pussy at a younger age. As a younger kid I never really went outside much, but now I love alpine skiing, hiking, and other outdoor things. It’s weird. I feel like *in some ways* my functions are highly developed for my age but my maturity cannot keep up, hence a lot of my social problems (compounds with Se demon giving bad first impressions) My friends who are ENTPs seem to have their functions a lot less developed (ex. Their Ne and Ti doesn’t seem to find patterns and analyze information to the same effectiveness as mine, so they call me “smart”, even though I beg to differ and treat it as “if you want to learn, you will”). One of my ENTP friends (she's the only one I can confirm an ENTP) said she was "too dumb" to understand what I was saying much of the time, but I told her that if she wants to learn, she will learn it. Some time passed and I explained everything, she got it and I also confirmed she was probably ENTP (the subject at the time was literally me explaining cognitive functions)
I doubt all of the friends you say are ENTP’s seeing as Ne Ti are some of the ENTP’s strongest functions, I would know. More likely their either ESTPs or ESFPs, maybe even ENFP? Anyways ENTPs make up about 3% of the population so it’s statistically very unlikely that their ENTPs, even your female friend might not be one. I would have to actually know them to elaborate but their my 2 cents.
@@Prometheus7272 I was guessing that maybe she's ENFP but she's too pragmatic and doesn't really show Fi. Also my ENFJ friend (who is closer) doesn't really care about typology, because she's triple interest and said "people aren't puzzles". Also with the first friend though, she shows NeTiFe more than other functions, and definitely doesn't use Se. One of my best friends who is an ENTJ (and is also the same age as me, the others are a grade younger) was a bit interested in it and he caught on to cognitive functions a bit.
Well if you were to recommend a type to have a relationship with the entp I think it would make more sense to be the same list except prioritizing types with high sexual compatibility a little more? So like instead of having ISFP and ESFP at 3 and 4 you would have INFJ AND ENFJ because they have better compatibility sexually. Again I’m not talking about general compatibility just sexual relationship compatibility (marriage, dating). I think as just a general recommendation towards friendship your list is perfect. Maybe even ESFPs over isfps as they’re egos (intj) are perfectly compatible with the entp likewise the entps (ISFJ) and will help both sides mature so a great benefit of friendship. Although unlike general friendships, sexual relationships would have a high involvement in sexual compatibility.
This could be not fully correct but in my opinion INTJs are afraid of giving a bad experience but this doesn't mean they are great at giving positive experiences. Sometimes we can be, but I don't think any more than the other types. Also we do usually have to 1 trust the person to give a better experience. This allows us to be more open and free and fun I'd say 🤔
Hey man I have a deep request. Can you please tell me how as an entj I can improve myself. Some flaws I know about are 1.making hasty decisions 2.bad at delegation 3. Hurting peoples emotions etc. Please bro help me
Get an NTP in your life, ask them what they think, ask them who they think is good to delegate to, ask them for social advice. Align yourself with NTPs asap. (This is the fast way) The slow way and the long term plan is to reach maturity and self actualization. You do this by allowing yourself to be artistic while making sure you read read read read everything you can about people and relationships. (How To Win friends And Influence People)
"I'm going to give you a demonic experience" is my new pickup line. :3
Yeah. Gotta love Se demon
On the other hand, I said that what made sense about him being an ENTP is that they are known as assholes.
exact thing happened to me with an ENTP female...
iam jealious
Ummm what happened to your face?
you're cute tho
My guy bestfriend is an ENTP. One of the best connections!!!
INTJ with an ENTP father. We get along almost too well, and it gets weird at times.

With the mast, the knowledge of the type and the System.
Our rational/logical discussions are amazing too..❤️
i wish 👀
I love that shared xNTP sarcasm. As expected, another great video.
I'm an ENTP married to an INTJ. We met long before we knew our personality types - guess we lucked out!
Yes!
I'm an ENTP with a small T preference, and my wife of ten years is an INFJ with a slight F preference . She's also 18 years older than I. Some observations:
INFj is third highest compatibility for face to face relationships for ENTPs. Thank you for posting sir!
That's awesome! Great info!
Agreed, my best friend of 15+ years is an INFJ and we can talk for hours.
Health anxiety sucks for the entp and it can cause serious phycological issues , I found that positive thinking and faith is key for my anxiety.

It's all coming from your mind it's the cause of many problems , meditation and affirmation as well as working out is a must for me.
Alpha Wolf
To me it became a lifestyle actually even though entp have a bad reputation when it comes to discipline and commitment but I did it for more than five years and I will continue to do so what really helped me to commit is the fact that I'm into bodybuilding i love it to death that's the main reason that gets me going , I think you should find a sport that you really into and you can't wait to do more and more of it .
Alpha Wolf embrace the fact that you have to be uncomfy at the beginning
"Yeah, that's productive, thank you", "Good luck trying that", "That's gonna go well", "That'd be nice" hahaha, fangirling over your sarcasm 😂

Interesting ...as an ENTP .... I liked to do the chasing. If they were too easy I got bored with them real quick.
Awesome, well said
This video is SO INTERESTING!!!! I’m an ENTP with an ISFJ sibling and that analysis was spot on.

I'm an INFP, my husband is an ENTP (I feel like I really understand your personality..ha) anyways, I'd love if you talk about the compatibility of these two types.
I always fucking love all the emotion you put in your lectures
I love this video. I'm an ENTP WAHMEN with an INTJ man, and everything you described about ENTP + INTJ relationships... hit the nail on the head. I can't get over how scarily accurate it was, it was all things I've noticed about our relationship prior, but didn't realize it was this directly tied to our functions.
i am entp and i love it when i see another entp in action , especially the humor
The entp is the ideal canvas for the intj to paint upon. I like that.
A dude on the internet ⬆️⬆️⬆️ 👏👏👏
I'm an ENPT and my best friend is INTJ, it's a perfect match in my experience
I'm confused, I'm an ENTP and my best friend is an ISFJ, We are very VERY different when you look at us separately, but somehow we work together too well, we get along beautifully, we've been friends for seven years already and I'm incredibly loyal to her as she is to me, we both are very understanding and open about the way the other thinks or feels.
I would love to meet an INTJ, I really like the way you describe it.
How do you know she is an ISFJ? Please don't say a test result, they are only 23-28% accurate.
I’ve been married to an isfj for ten years and I am an ENTP
Toss me an email sometimes: csj0s3ph@gmail.com
I am an ENTP and my mother is an ESFJ. Our differences are very stark. You described it perfectly with the dishes, LOL! That happens to me frequently.
OTOH, I am an ISFP dating an ESTP....said to be a bad match due to him being Fi "blind," yet it's the best relationship I've ever had.
They were really not truths at all, just conventions that allowed her maximum social advantage and didn't threaten her larger than life ego.
social compatibility is not the same as other compatibility. For example INFJ has highest sexual compatibility with ENTPs.
lol i am married to an ISFJ. it is super difficult but i think it had helped me with the moral compass and become mature. it isn't as difficult now but wow i don't know how we stayed together so long but it works for us. she definitely challenges me and keeps me on my toes with my crazy thoughts and can run my crazy theory past her regardless if she understands or not because i feel like she is how majority of regular people are and so it helps me deal better in the world with people.

An ENTP has an ESFJ family member, that drives me crazy..
Exactly my mom is esfj and we fight everyday . she never understands me while i always think of her side of story , i love her but its really tough
My mom is isfj and god, can't wait to turn 18 and move out as far as possible from home.
More ENTP content

its been done plenty on this channel;
My father ENTP before his 40s he use to have the same dress in everyday, thank God now he is the fashion boy☺
I am an ENTP and I actually don‘t care with whom I am compatible.. you can have a fun time with people that you hate too.
was gonna tell you that you are a genious but you already know it and you know its not that fun. Fucking hell what a drinking and talking session you and i could have. ENTP to the square salutes you.
I'm an entp In a relationship with another entp and we go together very well... We always know what each other are thinking and wants so my case may be an exception to your rule
Bennett Magee I wonder if one of u was mistyped. Just curious
C.J...... I chuckle at your sarcasm.... love it!
Great video. I would like to see a comparison between the ESTJ and ENTJ. Thanks!
its on the schedule
C.S. Joseph Nice!!😁
I love your sarcasm consciousness for sure!!
Why’s INFJ with ENTP compatibility left off? Some of my favorite people are ENTP, but I don’t think long term romance can work.
it can
I (INTJ female) met my best friend (ENTP male) at work (lifeguards) and we got along great.
I'm an INTJ boy, ENTPs are The best for us, i just wish there Is more of them.
You can get stuck in your shadow due to trauma or abuse in your life.
@@CSJoseph How do you get unstuck?
38:17 ENTP-ESFJ
34:00 ENTP-ISFJ
Ah so from what I've gathered over the past few days:
ENFP + INTJ = positive intimate relation compatibility
ENTP + INTJ = positive friend relation compatibility
Thought provoking. In my experience thus far, my favorite connection companion is ENTP and it was quite mutual. Thousands of hours of conversation haha. Even after a time lapse, it was like "no time passed at all." Did I miss a piece of information that explains why NFJs aren't on the chart?
Great content and cause. 👍
NFJs are much higher on the face to face compatibility algorithm, that includes sexuality.
For me I take care of my style alot as an entp because I don't feel comfortable wearing something that doesn't look great for a particular event , it's coming from an si,fe place not from an se,ni place .
Nooooo! Head in Sand. Your lectures are the hilarious! Thanks C.S. Joseph!
The "head in sand" comment was just too real. I nearly lost it...
drunk INTJ here... ENTPS are T H E D O P E S T 😂😂😂
If you can stick it out... you'll grow from a relationship like this more than any other :)
well said
And yeah not to forget that they and their estp cousins have the best Jokes ever
this is so awesome - its exactly what hepen when i dated an INTJ (best crush, long story). contracts everything. it makes sense. all of it!
note(typed the next part at 32:14 and it was like.... oh ye YES thats the same thing i realized)
BUT sadly INFJ are pretty rare met in social life.
Many of my friends find its hard to have confersation with me. It's helping me much! Thanks...
Exactly 22 minutes on INTJ. Unspoken message: ENTPs best match is only INTJ.
I didn't understand this, I think I'm good at approaching... To be honest i had to practice a lot...
I know typical ENTP has to play devils advocate even with you about their type.. ok I give it up alright no more even somewhat questioning
Love my ISFJ girlfriend, and my forceful ESFJ grandmother.
I'm an ENTP. My best friend is an INTP. Among all the people I met, the most amazing ones always turned out to be INTPs. Favorite fictional characters are usually ENTPs.
I also have a crush on an ESFJ and I think we have a lot of fun together? Dunno
I'm fucked
bro, all I can say is like, try your best to verify your type and theirs.
Hun, INTJs have Ti Critic.
@@AlexG-jm7cd so what?
@@zenzpsem INTJs use Te. They can not use Ti to their own advantage.
I love how intjs got like 1/3 of the time spent talking about compatibility :)
Could you delve further into relationships between opposite types? As an ENTP myself, I struggle in connecting with and reading ISFPs . Thank you.
It really boils down to willingness to communicate and listen. Does your ENTP friend ever think you do not listen to them?
It’s seriously bad. I’ve heard it described as one of the worst pairings possible. That certainly lines up with my experiences as an ENTP with many ISFP family members. They take the sarcasm way too personally.
This video is too theoretical for my liking. Deeper connections with somebody require “camaraderie.” I guess that’s why it’s easiest to get along with INTPs and other ENTPs, for me at least.
Ethan McDonald it all boils down to maturity. But few people are willing confront much less question their own maturity levels given the amount of humility it requires.
my isfj mom was always made me (an entp) cringe because social justice. most of her interactions with others (still bothers me even if i am not involved) were about finding who did the wrong thing (there’s always something) by questioning everyone and this would cause suspense and tension for me, btw my dad (esfj) our whole relationship was a covert contract with me constantly putting off my side of the deal because i just didn’t care or didn’t have the guts to tell them that i just don’t like either of them like at all
Other than your very informative and funny videos, I just want to say that I find you so attractive. ENTP here
Lol, awesome! :P
❤️ Since I don't have a heart.... Button :P
12:26 Donnald duck came to visit
This ENTJ has not yet met an ENTP they didn’t instantly like! Let’s be straight! 🤗
I didn't get my engineering degrees for nothing.
lol awesome
And an ESFJ Hr manager to clog the system.
Sounds like my every day.
I can get along with anyone
Thank you again!
Hey, what type is the best workplace assistant for the entp?
Entp seem to be starters not necessarily finishers.
INTJs, if you just need something done properly. If you need someone to cooperate on something genius, find an INTP with excitement in that area.
It’s weird. I feel like *in some ways* my functions are highly developed for my age but my maturity cannot keep up, hence a lot of my social problems (compounds with Se demon giving bad first impressions)
My friends who are ENTPs seem to have their functions a lot less developed (ex.
Hos do you want an ENTP to pay atention to a 45 min video bro, I will have to watch it at 2x speed
