It was a loft conversion that took longer than I expected, but I had quite a lot of fun creating this new room! It houses my minimalist wardrobe, my study, vanity table, and more. The room is still pretty minimal (which I like), but I will only mindfully include the finishing touches suited to my taste. We wanted to have this project done for a while now, because we need more space for our growing son. Eventually, this might become a bedroom but we will see what the future holds. If you have any ideas for a minimalistic room, please throw them this way xx

A peace lily would be a wonderful edition. It does get pretty white flowers regularly, but most importantly it will clean your air for you. Like you, I am an introvert and I really value having my own space. I'm so happy for you.

Mr Clean Stain erasers. They are sponges you can use wet or dry, try both ways on your desk and see which cleans it the best. 😊

I really like your new space! Using a chest of drawers for your shoes is a great idea! It keeps them clean and neat and looks a lot better than having them all sitting in the bottom of your closet or wardrobe. Perhaps you could cover the table with some sort of vinyl, the sort with adhesive on the back? (Not sure what they call it where you are, in the US it's called Con-tact.)

Love the room, I put a recliner in my closet/office too but our kitty took it over, it's 'his chair' & if I'm sitting in it when he comes in, he will glare at me until I move... The shadow of my backside will still be in there when he reclaims it ;)

lemon essential oil to remove the marks on the desk!
Try using rubbing alcohol to remove the marks from the desk. That worked for me.

Hi, have you tried chasing when you flat iron your hair? That it when you have a comb in one hand and the flat iron in the other. The comb helps to keep the hair straight before the flat iron makes a pass.

Beautiful room and so calming. I really want to get rid of stuff. I feel like it's taking over my home. I just want to throw everything in the dumpster and only have furniture and plants in my home. However that isn't possible with a husband children and a puppy. Ugh!
Clutter can definitely feel overwhelming. Maybe start with be area of the house first if you’re considering about decluttering? That way it might feel more manageable xx

You can try those "eraser" sponges, they are white, sold in the supermarkets and they save lives and definately my budget, it erased the markers from my wall so we didn't have to repaint it!!

Great video! For those marks on the desk, I recommend trying toothpaste on a soft cloth, or a magic eraser sponge, or another fantastic product I've found is called Goo Gone.

Rubbing alcohol should help remove the marks from the desk. Loved this video, thanks for your content which inspires me and the choices I make for my wardrobe!

A magic eraser, and the cleaner called the pink stuff, will do wonders cleaning your table without damaging it. I also recommend using cork to cover the top if you want an easy/functional way to hide any permanent stains.

What a lovely space! After I'm able to clear some things out of my home office I want to create a cozy reading corner like yours. Reclining chair, cozy blanket, and a small table. Great inspiration!

Your space looks great! Maybe an eraser sponge will work on the desk (by the brand "Oh My Clean"). If not, you could always cover it with a white Aothia Office Desk Pad.

I really love all your videos and your style.I’m also from M and live in the uk over 20 years. I never find my style and always feel not have enough clothes. I watched many other RUclipsrs styling tips and bought lots of clothes after. but never none suits me because whatever look nice on other people doesn’t mean same on you😢. but after watching your videos it gave me lots of ideas. Absolutely agree with you, be simplifying your clothes stop trying too hard. An odd question- Can I ask where is your throw from?😊
