For me, summer is approaching but as it will soon be Christmas, I'm hoping to take some tips from you and make the balcony more beautiful with lights. So sorry to hear about Bonus. My cat died at 19 too. It means they had a good, healthy life. I love Autumn! The colours of the leaves, the warm sunny days and the cosy/hygge Sunday afternoons after walking through the woods, reading or knitting and drinking hot chocolate. The only thing I miss in my home is not having an open fire, so I find a video of one on RUclips and have it playing on the TV. People think I’m crazy, but it works for me. 💚🍁

Sorry you lost Bonus. He was so beautiful, I didn’t realise he was that old. But he had a good long catlife and was loved. That is what matters. Our family dog passed away this spring after 16 years and I miss him so much! Your apartment always looks so cosy in autumn winter. Relearning to value the essence of life.......... It's wonderful how you have surrounded yourself with quality of life and how you adapt that quality equally to both your summer and winter homes. Condolences for Bono and thank you for another lovely video. I have a moss green velvet sofa that now has a lighter green throw on it for spring here. In winter I put a dark red velvet blanket on it. Looking forward to seeing some snow in your neighbourhood and city. You may get snow weary but for those of us in the southern hemisphere it's such a thrill seeing it falling there, and piled up around, and hearing the crunch-crunch underfoot! It is indeed like an advent calendar seeing the snow falling in your lovely view of the building opposite with all the windows lit up in the dark afternoons.😊

Thank you! It says to leave for 24 hours and that seemed exactly when they stopped feeling oily and sticky. I don't measure my indoor temperature but would guess around 20 degrees Centigrade.
Autumn is my favourite season and I feel inspired by this video to give special attention to my apartment to prepare for it. It's been unseasonably warm here where I live so it doesn't feel like it's quite arrived yet. This video has such mys vibes and it makes me want to get up and do something. Thank you! They survive in the dark. The leaves wilt but what’s left you cut back hard in February, keep cool and light to start off and will most likely start growing again. What’s in that pot was kept in that cabinet last winter!

Benita, when you started to sand and oil your terrace furniture (even with a nice white protective tarp under them😄), I said to my husband that you are the type of person I long to adopt more of these practical qualities from but give up on after dusting the windowsills‼️ My heart goes out to you after the loss of your sweet little bff Bonus. He sure did have the answer to the dream-cat life with you as his buddy.💝

I always enjoyed seeing Bonus in your videos. He appeared to be a real sweetheart. When your Minnie passed, I missed seeing her. Now, I bet she is thrilled to be playing with her brother again. Cats are the best and I am lucky my old man cat is with me after his sister passed in 2022.

Condolences for Bono and thank you for another lovely video. I have a moss green velvet sofa that now has a lighter green throw on it for spring here. In winter I put a dark red velvet blanket on it. Looking forward to seeing some snow in your neighbourhood and city. You may get snow weary but for those of us in the southern hemisphere it's such a thrill seeing it falling there, and piled up around, and hearing the crunch-crunch underfoot! It is indeed like an advent calendar seeing the snow falling in your lovely view of the building opposite with all the windows lit up in the dark afternoons.😊

Thank you! It says to leave for 24 hours and that seemed exactly when they stopped feeling oily and sticky. I don't measure my indoor temperature but would guess around 20 degrees Centigrade.
Autumn is my favourite season and I feel inspired by this video to give special attention to my apartment to prepare for it. It's been unseasonably warm here where I live so it doesn't feel like it's quite arrived yet. This video has such mys vibes and it makes me want to get up and do something.

Very sorry to hear about Bonus, he was a lovely cat and I shall miss him too. My Mum had a cat when she was growing up who lived to a grand old age of 24, he even survived during World War 2!!!

Dear Benita ~ It’s wonderful to see a post again. My granddaughter watched the first viewing while snuggling up close with me. She was full of compliments and questions. Like “why do you talk that way?” and “cute ghost” (the bunny light). She described you as ‘demure’. Pretty insightful for a six year old. Thank you! They survive in the dark. The leaves wilt but what’s left you cut back hard in February, keep cool and light to start off and will most likely start growing again. What’s in that pot was kept in that cabinet last winter!
I would never have used battery candles before I saw them in your home. I picked some up at thrift stores and love them! Thanks for the tip. Warm glow and no fire hazard!

I am so sorry to hear about Bonus ❤️🐈⬛❤️. I had noticed how thin he was looking recently and was afraid for him as i, too, have lost several previous fur babies and know the signs. 19 is a wonderful age and he was obviously well loved and cherished but I know that doesn’t take away his loss. ❤

Currently, here in Ecuador, we're having a real energy crisis due to a severe drought so, when the power is turned off every day, we bring out the candles every evening. (Our days and nights are always about 12 hours long year round.) I love candlelight and enjoy seeing your use of it in your beautiful home.
I do make it a priority to have calm and pretty surroundings because it makes me feel good😊
