- This easy Apple Pie recipe with very little prep, mixing everything together into a bowl and pouring this mixture into a ready-made crust.
This video is perfect if you're a beginner baker and want to learn how to make a quick and easy apple pie using ready made (store made/frozen) pie crust. This apple pie recipe is one of the best apple pies I've ever baked in my entire life.

question: who do you soak the sliced apples in orange juice for 15 minutes? just wondering, never heard of someone doing that.........thanks , await your answer , enjoy your site. ray
the question is WHY do you soak the apples not who.............sorry
I soak them because I didn't want them to turn brown (as I was filming). If I wasn't filming I would just thrown everything together as normal. I cut them up, and had them set as I finished my other prep and cleaning so they were there in the water for 15 minutes.
It was to prevent the apples from browning as I was prepping. I didn't have any lemon on hand so I used orange instead. It took me a bit to reply I have a lot of filming projects.
I'd never heard of it either, but I gave it a try and believe me, it made all the difference.... I didn't use a lot (about the same amount as lemon juice I used to keep the brown off the apples...) truly it was the best apple pie I've ever made...
To stop them turning brown. Any acidic fruit can do , usually lemon is used. But he may just prefer to use orange

Seriously the best apple pie ever, i didnt have Macintosh apples so i used 5 granny smith apples and the pilsburry dogh pie crust. My family looooooved it and want me to make again soon! Thank you so much!!!

Hi! I watched this video and it stood out more then the other apple pie videos because the recipe was the most simple and a lot quicker. I made my first apple pie using this recipe and watching this video several times and I just want to say Thank you for posting this amazing video. My pie came out better then expected! Thanks man... been stuck in the house on count of the Coronavirus and my neighbor gave me a bag full of apples. I hate to waste good fruit... so, I figured why not. I’m in disbelief!! I can’t believe you made an apple pie with a caramel sauce ( or pie sauce) without stirring it on top of the stove.. Oh and the orange instead of lemon thing is so original..Wow it looks out of this world!! I will try this way as oppose of stirring the sauce and thickening it on top of the oven .. Looks delicious!! I am glad I came across this recipe it was the bomb !but instead of using 1/2 cup of regular sugar I just used 1 cup of brown sugar also, I did not have butter so I just used a little bit of water until it looked the way it did on the video and OMG it was so delicious my husband loved it I also made my own crust and he said it was the best pie he ever ate lol THANK YOU so much for uploading this video ! Great job for those of us that do not have much time or want a bunch of store bought flour laying around 5 pounds is alot of flour if your not a Baker. This was quick easy an better then any store bought fillings thank you.

I never trim the top crust. I tuck it under and seal the bottom and top. The crust is the best part of the pie.
