@@aldrichgonzales7160 It continued after an hour. Its probably your bios or you motherboard. that's what it was for me, you have to change them. That's what I did.

@@sadatislamrehan4770 I tried everything. I recently turned HIBERNATE timing to NEVER (which I didn't even know was a thing) and the problem seems to have gone away (crossing fingers). Maybe the issue is the computer is getting confused with the timing setting and sending itself into HIBERNATION mode randomly (not actually SLEEP mode). The settings are in the same place as the SLEEP settings.

Hello, I have a HP stream cloudbook 11 which intermittently / randomly shuts off without warning. The longest it stays on for is around 5 mins, and shortest is a few seconds. However, there was a period when it stayed on long enough for windows 10 to install and seemed to work okay for a while. The laptop does not have a fan and it shuts down even when the laptop is cold. the laptop shuts down even when in bios. I have tried the following but the problem persists:
1. checked the heat sink and applied a fresh thermal pad
2. Disconnected keyboard, trackpad, screen, WiFi card, etc
Any idea where on the motherboard the fault could be? Thanks in advance

@@mahicreations3756 sadly no, i used this board for spare parts, I replaced it with another board I repaired, if you have a hot air station you could try applying flux to most of the motherboard (including under ICs) and applying heat to re-solder the connections.. might be worth a try

I have a 6 year old Dell laptop. So far it has worked without any issues. I always paid attention to the physical and software cleaning, I did, I had it done. For the last 1 year, my laptop has been cutting power by itself and shutting down. I'm so tired now nothing works. The harddisk is solid, the pastes have been changed, the detailed cleaning has been done (the computer guy said he did it), the video card was checked and it is solid, there is no problem with the processor, there is no problem with the charger, my battery is about to die, it works at 25% efficiency, but when I remove the battery and run the computer like that, I also experience a shutdown, so the battery isn't the root cause of the problem either. Please help me I'm about to go crazy. I'm going to throw the laptop on the wall, I'm so tired now

Hello good day.. May pc works fine on start up but when i play one game, it only lasted 30mins. Suddenly shutdown.. When i start it up again, my pc shutdown by itself again, and i wait for 4mins. To cooldown somehow so that may pc can work finely on start up but after that i play a game for 5mins, its going to shutdown again.. Help me please i just wanna play some game..

Thx bro, in my case windows shutted down because I am using a LTSC version, it wasn't activated so windows directly shutted down.
I found the solution in the Log manager (step 1) and the messaje was something like "The pc shut down because windows is not activated". the problem was fixed when I activated windows.
