because they're protected by QI and an illegal union. the only union in history with legal authority to hurt and kill other union members.
It just means they're either too stupid to remember or corrupt enough to think they can delete it later.
The actions of the police show how little of our laws they understand. Documented by body cams. Having these cams on officers is one of the greatest policies of all times. Ms Perez gets an A+ for standing her ground. There was no emotion that got into her way. In fact, I vote for A++ because her declaratory statement "Too bad, so sad." immediately elevates her to demigod.
She demonstrates the apotheosis of behavior we should all embody: clear, concise, no emotion.
Wikipedia ought to have an entry for "How to behave in police presence" and just say "Refer to Ms Perez".
What you observed, I alsoI did not see any 'emotion'.' The auditor of this video see it as 'emotion' prob. because she is a woman, a female). She was assertive and explained it clearly and unemotional!
But, the cop thought he could tell her his own version of what he believes to be legal. Ego took over instead of listening and learning what had happened! He saw her as a female and prob. 'emotional' too and dismissed her asserting herself! Glad he was fired and she was paid for his error in 'enforcing the law.'
She's my hero
@@kb_9880 I mean, she was clearly emotional, just not irrational. I hate the way our culture views the expression of emotions as inherently a bad thing, because expressing emotions can be as good as it can be bad. Over-suppression of emotions can be harmful to both ourselves and our loved ones.
Also sometimes use the façade of emotionlessness to seem fair and rational, like the cop did in this video, which is manipulation tactic. The way to counteract this form of manipulation is to not dismiss someone just because they're being emotional, and not attribute rationality with emotionlessness. Expecting the emotional person to suppress themselves in this sort of situation (if their emotions are justified) can sometimes just be unreasonable and unjust.
Kicking your way into a house illegally is also somewhat emotional. Humans have emotions.

I think that's a big issue in America because they only go through like six weeks of training or something and I think like in Canada I think its 4 or 5 months
@@Helfirehydra I don't know what academy you're talking about. My academy is 8 months, followed by another 6 months of field training, then 1 year of probation.
@@strikesachord1884 8 months? North Carolina is 16 weeks of BLET. 3 months of FTO and 6 months of Probation period.
I really would be scared if I would have to be protected by someone with less than 24 month training on this. Im really happy to live in a civilized country.
@@Helfirehydra more like 15-21, but in my opinion they should be getting 3-6 years, like in the nordic countries.
Wow, that officer's actions is quite terrifying.
indeed
no father figure
I can’t imagine if that happened to me, that would’ve been the last thing he’d ever done.
Wow defund this officer
Meh, if she'd just act and communicate properly than she wouldnt have been in this situation. Regardless if the actions of the officer were legal or not. They were damn rightious tho xd
The hair flip then "too bad, so sad" 🤣
I bet this mended the mother-son relationship real well. Good job officer.
She got $200,000 as of January 2021. What a crazy arc in the anime.
She should use that money to purchase a book on how to be a better parent for her children.
Unfortunately, we don't know all the circumstances. You could say she's being a good mother to her younger children by keeping violent tendencies out of her home and their environment.
@@itzsaccoo9242 From what I saw in the video, the mother has a strong character. If she was such a bad mother, she would have allowed her delinquent son to return home and forgive him easily, without him having a punishment. When the mother expressly ordered him to go home, so they could to go to the court together, it would have been the opportunity she gave him to take responsibility for his actions and choose a better path from then on.
His son has 16 years old, he's not a kid. A boy of that age must know that his actions can have consequences.
It's very easy to judge others without knowing the background.

Did she beat goku doe?
Cop: " I'm here to kick in your door and arrest you without a warrant for not allowing your fugitive son, who we DO have a warrant to arrest to also kick down your door"
Hahaha
imagine if a law officer was actually being slippery and tried to go ahead and justify this somehow with some type of qualified immunity
This was top tier and accurate asf
Exactly this! The cop truly looks idiotic!
I’m late as hell but it’s so weird you can’t lock someone out of their own house and the guy can kick the door down because it’s “HIS HOUSE” but in California where I live a person can squat inside your house for months or years and the police will do nothing.
5:49 “please hear me out cause I know where you’re going with this”
9:36 “too bad, so sad” with a hair flip!
Queeeeeen 😍
she was arrested for hypothetically refusing to break the law
Fr?!
Smh
She got paid.
Imagine if there was NO body cam footage. He would've lied and said this happened without entering her home. What cop tells a citizen that someone can kick down their door?
Thank God we live in this day and Age. God bless body cams.
I was a live in baby sitter where I witnessed the mom abuse the kids. I called cps often but no one ever did anything . One time a lady sat on her son( she was 300lbs he was a 98lb 13 year old) he tried to push her off. She called the cops and claimed he hit her. The officer said she had the right to fight back if he puts his hands on her. She started beating him after that.
You’d be surprised. In MD, it’s legal to get into a home you “live” in, by any means necessary unless it’s court ordered that you cannot return or you were legally evicted. Of course, you would have to prove you live there by mail or police questioning neighbors/others who live in the household.
Exactly why poor people used to be picked on by and afraid to death of cops. With no money you can't fight back. You lose your job and everything so they win and you lose. Now we got em on film and they still do BS like this.
A soon to be executed one hopefully?
As a person who's mother was charged with dependency and neglect in the state of Colorado. I can confirm it was definitely not what this mother was trying to do.
The "too bad, so sad" was great!
Not only does the cop think the son can kick her door in, he can too.
Of course he abuses ALL the woman he comes into contact with.
He probably tried to recruit the kid
Can you say tyrant?
LOL
he thinks the son has the same rights of the officer :)
This was a display of power, and an automatic ego reaction when she rejected his attempts to dominate her.
Alotta police brutality boils down to "you ignored the power drive of my ego now you will face my wrath"
Absolutely!!
Acab bruh
Yep. All them police officers have a lot in common with domestic abusers. It's all about power and control for them.
Bullseye.
He has a warrant for his arrest but she should let him in the house? Shouldn’t he be in jail?
a mother trying to hold her son accountable needs to be given credit.
as a mother this had to be extremely hard for her. on top of that she is being treated like a criminal for being lawful and the son didn't respect the law and not being held accountable. Of course we need to protect our children but when they do something unlawful and put other peoples life at risk, she is a mother who had to
make an extremely hard choice. The officer should have called a supervisor, and the court should be the one to work this out . CPS at best would have been a protocol for the officer to report. all the best to the mother.
Don't worry, I'm sure her son has been to at the very least jail since this video aired, beginning the revolving door young. He's in for a lifetime of 'being held accountable' and will probably die from something related to complications associated with that lifestyle. Lol, seriously, couldn't care less about a 16 y/o.
They held her for an hour because they were scouring the penal code looking for ANYTHING they could legitimately charge her with, and making calls to the DA for help. Of this I have no doubt.
@AnAZPatriot,

Yea that's true. They were looking for any reason to justify why he would have neee to be in there .cops don't believe in accountability for they actions.
Dollars to cop donuts I'll bet you are right
He arrests her for him kicking her door in. He's a tyrant.

This story is not only informative, but also, mostly just sad.
I agree. It seems like there is no loving parent in this situation. If she would have been more concerned about being a loving mom more than getting a warrent out for his arrest it would have turned out better.
These lawsuits need to come out of the cop's pensions.

Whoot whoot!! You go audit the audit lol with your endorsements, especially this one! Shot out to Ray J and his team for realizing your hard work and speaking up against injustice!
Its illegal to harbor a fugitive, but its illegal to not let him in. Thats a very interesting interpretation that puts this mother into an impossible situation to win. I have a strong suspicion that had that officer just looked into what she had claimed, she probably was acting on advice of the judge she had spoken to. Glad she won her case she deserved that settlement.
I believe a parent has some leeway on that charge especially if the felon is a Minor.
That interpretation is the result of a dumb and law illiterate cop. You summed it up beautifully. NO one can commit a crime in defense of their rights... imagine how we this world would be...the stupid cop needed to be fired. Too much of what they do is the result of their feelings being hurt and thinking that after 6 month of training they know THE Constitution.

@@derekjeter9083 the new and improved karl marx. Not rascist just here to see the proletariat seize power. The constitution does say "of the people, by the people, for the people" after all.
It’s completely legal what this mother did. She very clearly states that she locked him out because of the safety of her infant. The teen proved he is a danger. If someone is a physical threat to your child, even if that threat is also your child, you can keep them out.
“No longer with department”

Yeah, they gave him deal of ”resign or get fired” and he chose the resign so that there would not be ”fired for ***” on hes record.
Greay analysis, love it!!
I'm not American so my understanding of the US legal system is pretty basic, but even I raised an eyebrow when the officer said she can't leave her violent fugitive son outside.
I love it how she shut him down real quick with “ Let me speak. I know where you’re going with it.”
That mama took control. 💪🏽

"To bad, so sad" then the hair flip. Dont do it to him Ms Perez!
Once again, the only thing a cop knows is that his ego is the most important thing in the conversation
Its because the department of homeland security has set the psychological standards for police applicants requiring that they possess qualities/traits of antisocial personality disorder. The minimum requirements do not satisfy enough criteria for diagnosis while sufficient criteria to warrant diagnosis does not disqualify applicants. Basically, of youre not a sociopath or damn close to it you're not qualified to become a cop under DHS standards.
This is why their egos take precedence in virtually every interaction they have with the public. It is also why they can murder innocent, unarmed civilians and then lie through their teeth to cover their asses and of course it is why they have no remorse to change careers when their "mistakes" result in the unnecessary loss of life or liberty for others.
They are literally the trash of civilized society.
Ego + authority = possible abuse of power and erratic behavior. The body cam provided evidence resulting in judgement and termination.
@@barefootjakejake7765 The dept. of homeland security was only founded in 2002 and this crap's been going on for many, many decades. Learn some history.

In the full video when he arrests her, she asks why she is being handcuffed. He says "because you shoved me". She then asks him "why did I shove you" and he realizes he screwed up. There is an actual pause in his sentence as he comes to the realization.
